Contra Magazin, an Austrian media outlet, argued that instead of the promised prosperity and cheap Russian gas, the Ukraine has to deal with a civil war and an economic collapse. Ukrainians were naïve to believe that the association agreement between Kiev and Brussels would usher in an age of careless affluence. When legitimate Ukrainian President V F Yanukovich refused to sign it, they took to the streets in what the media called the Euromaidan revolution. The new Kiev junta finalised the agreement, only to subject the Ukraine to “shock therapy”. Contra observed, “It’s becoming increasingly clear that [Yanukovich, deposed in an American-sponsored coup,] was absolutely right in his reservations” towards the document. Ukrainians are increasingly aware of this. Contra pointed up that the implications of the deal went further than any other agreement signed between the EU and a third-party, they’re truly damaging. The Ukraine has to carry out reforms to converge its legislation to that of the EU to the point when pan-European laws will become the norm. These changes would lead to (and have to an extent already resulted in) a radical privatisation and introduction of market-based pricing. The latter development makes it impossible for the government to offer energy subsidies, which means that ordinary Ukrainians have to pay ever-soaring utility bills. Many can no longer afford this. Contra concluded, “Taking into account the looming winter and the collapsing economy, these steps are a death sentence for tens of thousands of Ukrainians”. The agreement, hailed by the current Ukrainian junta and Brussels, also introduced restrictions on the main remaining Ukrainian export sector… agriculture. The EU has to tackle overproduction in the agricultural sector and it doesn’t need competition from the Ukraine.

Let’s not be coy… Victoria Nuland, the architect of the neofascist Euromaidan coup, is a godless neocon Republican… a typical nihilist GOP greedster. Did you know that she and Chilly Hilly got on famously? She also got on famously with Richard Cheney, GWB’s war criminal Vice-President. The USA wanted to topple Yanukovich as he headed a semi-socialist state, and American Free Market pigs wanted to topple that and plunder the corpse, just as they did in socialist Yugoslavia and socialist Libya… just as they undermined the socialist DRA, which was closer to the USA in outlook than any of its Talibanesque successors… as they’re trying to topple socialist Syria… as they’re trying to topple socialist China and a Russia that’s increasingly turning back to socialism. Do note the common thread in this. The Republican filth oppose socialism and paint it out as evil. The Democratic Liberals are just as bad… they oppose socialism, too… as you can see in those such as Chilly Hilly and Butcher Biden. Only one American politician has the guts enough to call himself a socialist… Bernie Sanders.
What I find saddening is that the ultra-left doesn’t understand that a President Sanders would end warmongering in foreign parts, simply because it’s unaffordable. It wants all kinds of notional revolutionary ruffles and flourishes… which are stuff n’ nonsense, signifying nothing. This present sad end for the Ukraine, which, indeed, may result in dissolving the post-1991 Ukrainian successor-state, came from Washington, and it came equally from Republican and Liberal Democratic filth. As I say, the saddest part is that many on the American Left attack the only candidate who has the potential (and reason) to stop it. I gotta walk away from this one. I’m called a “commie” by the Republican ignoranuses and a “Republican Troll” by the Liberal Democratic ignoranuses… how can I be both at once? It simply shows how incoherent American “conservatism” (see Rod Dreher) and American “liberalism” (see Chilly Hilly) are… may God preserve us all.
