Today, LNR Chairman of the Government I V Plotnitsky presided over the formal opening of a new pipeline to bring natural gas to Veliky Sukhodol (Krasnodon Raion). Construction of the pipeline began in the 90s, under a Soviet plan to bring natural gas to villages, but in the end, the pipeline was never completed. The LNR decided to resume work at the end of May 2015. Luganskgaz utility crews only took three months to complete the project. The length of pipeline laid from Parkhomenko was 6.4 kilometres (4 miles). The new pipeline will connect more than 400 houses and public objects to the natural gas delivery network. In the next five days, 47 houses will go onto the network. Chairman Plotnitsky noted:
I can’t understand why they couldn’t get the most basic things done in 23 years. After all, they had everything… opportunities, resources, money, people… but they didn’t do anything. We have goals and purposes… if we’re a government of the people, well, all that we do should be for the people. However, the LNR doesn’t have the same resources that were present in the Lugansk Oblast during the Ukrainian rule. Nevertheless, we have the desire, we have the idea, and we have the belief that we’ll build the kind of state that we want to.

The oligarchs and the Uniate leadership ruthlessly raped the Orthodox regions of Novorossiya… the areas that routinely voted for the Party of Regions and the KPU. That’s how they could afford to run fascist Uniate institutions in the Lvovshchina. Since that’s the Ozarks of Eastern Europe, they didn’t have the money, so, they stole it from the productive Orthodox regions. That’s the real reason for the present war. The LNR and DNR are the richest parts of the former Ukraine, so the fascist Uniate junta wants to take them back so it can further rape them for the benefit of the oligarchs and Uniate hierarchy.
Do NOT blame rank n’ file Uniates (“Ukrainian Catholics”) and schismos (“Ukrainian Orthodox”) for this. Many of them don’t even know that this went on. Most of ‘em are innocent… treat ’em that way. I’d like to think that many of them would be aghast to know what their leadership did in their names. Cut them some slack. Cut NO slack for the junta leadership or the Uniate/Schismo hierarchy… they DO know what they did and are doing… they deserve to hang on the Maidan until they’re dead.

Today, the DNR Minoborony reported, “Over the past 24 hours, the fascist aggressors committed 3 ceasefire violations. The enemy fired 4 8.2-cm/12-cm mortar shells, besides using small arms. The enemy fired at Oktyabrsky (Kuibyshev Raion of Donetsk), Trudovska (Petrovsky Raion of Donetsk), the Donetsk airport, and Dokuchaevsk. The shelling on our civilian areas came from enemy positions near Opytnoe, Nikolaevka, and Marinka. Currently, there’s no information on military or civilian casualties”.
