Some are making much ado over Bernie’s statement that he’d keep a small American force in Afghanistan. This is a tactical move, the same as his refusal to attack Chilly Hilly or Butcher Biden. The former isn’t important to his core objective of bringing back the New Deal in its fullness (along with some improvements); the latter is simply good politics (Bernie IS a savvy pol)… he doesn’t want to piss off Hilly’s and Biden’s supporters… he’d need them in the general election. Remember, this is the first social network-driven election in American history, and only Bernie understands this. Much like FDR using the radio and talkie movies and JFK using TV, Bernie will use social networks to propel himself into the White House. Chilly Hilly is stuck in the 1990s… in a frozen time warp. That’s far worse than her friendship with the Waltons of Wal-Mart and her whoring for Wall Street, as bad as those are. She lives in the past. Bernie lives in the present. That’s why you should vote for him…
