The USA complains about Russia… now, who went mucking in whose backyard? Methinks that the biter got bit… and didn’t like it at all. The USA got a hot-foot in South Ossetia in ’08, when it tried invading using its Georgian puppets. That didn’t work. The Yanks learned nothing from that one (indeed, they lied about their defeat, thinking that they could get away with it). This time around, their puppet is even more fragile… the chances of the cobbled-together Ukrainian non-state collapsing increase with each passing day, with no one able to predict the outcome (one successor state? Two? None?).

As usual, the ordinary people are paying the price for the fecklessness of the political class, the Affluent Effluent, and the Chattering Intelligentsia. None of those throwing the dice are paying the cost… none of those paying the cost are reaping ANY benefit. Pray for the suffering peoples of the Ukraine, so that their accursed non-state falls into the dustbin of history and that they’re delivered from the hell that they “enjoy” at present.

God do have pity on them… they chose it not… as for the perps… it’d take much rope to properly hang them all…

Jimmy Kimmel Just Asked Bernie Sanders If He Believes In God… Sanders’ Answer Was Perfect

Bernie Sanders is defying all the odds. Pollsters will tell you that even though Americans today are leery of anyone running president who’s part of the “Washington establishment”, they’re uneasy about those who identify as a socialist (47 percent pro), an atheist (58 percent pro), or a Muslim (60 percent pro). Respondents viewed gays/lesbians (74 percent pro) and Evangelical Christians (73 percent pro) about the same. In theory, less than half of Americans are less likely to vote for Bernie Sanders, regardless of how one defines “socialist” or “democratic socialist”, yet, he may have proven the pollsters wrong, or so it seems so far, given his popularity. However, Sanders just opened himself up to another “strike”; possibly, he’s an atheist… or, rather, is he an atheist?

On Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, Sanders talked about his popularity, and about why he’s electable:

When Republicans win, voter turnout is very low. If I become the Democratic nominee, voter turnout will be way up. When Republicans win… God forbid…

This opened the door for Kimmel to ask a question:

You say you’re culturally Jewish, you don’t feel religious. Do you believe in God? Do you think that’s important to the people of the USA?

Sanders didn’t skip a beat. In fact, he didn’t even let Kimmel finish the question before jumping in:

Well, you know, I am who I am. What I believe in and what my spirituality is about is that we’re all in this together. That I think it isn’t a good thing to believe that, as human beings, we can turn our backs on the suffering of other people (the crowd applauded and cheered so loudly he had to pause). You know, this isn’t Judaism. This is what Pope Francis is talking about, that we can’t worship just billionaires and the making of more and more money. Life is more than that.

There’s massive wealth and inequality; America has the highest rate of childhood poverty of any major country on earth. We’re the only major country on earth that doesn’t guarantee healthcare to all people as a right. We’re the only country that doesn’t have paid family and medical leave. So essentially, I think we do best as human beings, we fulfil our lives, when we work together, and not say, “Hey, I want it all, and I don’t care about the hungry kid down the street”. I don’t think that’s what America should be about.

Conservative Christians should take notes.
