Talk on the internet can be a good thing… an official directive came out from Metropolitan Joseph after Reardon pulled his crap after the Supreme Court ruling. The directive said that no clergy are to engage in idiosyncratic public protests; they need prior approval from their hierarch. Therefore, my guess is that enough people spoke up, so, Sayedna Joseph had to listen and act.
What need I add?

I intend to spread the unbridled joy and boisterous good cheer of the Repentant Scrooge to all about me, not the tight-arsed purse-lipped acerbic misanthropy of the Unrepentant Scrooge. ______________________________For the first time in a long time, I’ve written with my usual zest and speed. It appears that my “writer’s block” has cleared itself up. I’ve had some dicey work situations, a little health slowdown, and some other things in my life. Now… it seems that I’m back up to speed. However, I’ll not be posting much during the week… I need to rest after working. Yet, as the number of my followers increases, it reminds me that I have an obligation to all of you. Love is what moves this enterprise… if I ceased to love you or to love doing this, well, I might as well just roll it all up. I’m NOT perfect… but I do my damnedest for youse guys. My love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you.

The process of integration with Russia gives us another heartwarming holiday. We always enjoyed celebrating International Women’s Day on 8 March. Now, on the last Sunday in November we add Mother’s Day. In fact, for the Russian people, for all the various peoples of the Donbass, in fact, motherhood is one of the main verities. It’s not by coincidence that we often speak of the “Mother-Motherland” (Родина-мать). I send my greetings to all of our mothers and to all women preparing to give birth to new life on this wonderful holiday! I respect and care about mothers… that’s a necessary component of a cultured and spiritual society and of a caring person. The material resources of our Republic are still insufficient to allow us to subsidise full-time motherhood… yet, we recognise the heroic dignity of motherhood. However, we always esteem it and never forget it, although we rarely talk about it openly. This Sunday gives us an occasion and the duty to give our mothers heartfelt thanks. I urge everyone to do it.
