74 years ago, in the waning days of November, the Western world wrote off the USSR. The Wehrmacht was in Moscow Oblast, in the Podmoskovie (Moscow suburbs)… all the pundits said that it was only a matter of time before the Germans held their victory parade on Red Square. Why didn’t it happen? Well… for one thing, the heroism of countless millions of courageous people like Z A Kosmodemyanskaya. She died, but she didn’t submit to the rightwing fascist scum.

Look at those who call themselves “conservatives”… their economic and social programmes are almost identical to those of the Nazis… that’s why they excused the Nazi excesses. The Nazis “made the trains run on time”, crushed the unions, and wanted to keep “subhumans” (Slavs, Greeks, and Jews) in subjection. American Republicans applauded that until Pearl Harbor… after all, they wanted to do the same themselves… crush the unions, keep “subhumans” in their place (Mexicans, blacks, Muslims), and to destroy every vestige of the New Deal (including Social Security).

You may support the fascist mindset of the Nazis and Republicans… or you can take on the courage of Zoya and fight them. I’ve chosen the latter… I’m not alone…

29 November 2015. A Picture IS Worth a Thousand Words… A Village Liberated from the “Moderate Opposition” Near Aleppo

Syrian government soldiers after liberating a village from the “moderate” terrorists favoured by the USA… like all good combat troops, they look like hell… but fight like hell, too…

There’s no such thing as a “moderate opposition” in Syria… they’re all terrorists and they all murder Christians. Ergo, the US Congress appropriation to aid the terrorists in Syria exposes them as lying pigs with cretinish supporters. If you support the Republican agenda, you support evil. You either do so in ignorance, or you do so knowing full-well the real story (Rod Dreher, anyone?). It’s interesting to see the rants in the National Review about Islamist terrorists… when they support pols who routinely vote subsidies for Islamist terrorists! I looked at the latest NR and it disgusted me to no end that it vilified Bernie and that it had no mention of the Russian air campaign against the terrorists… that is, drone attacks against innocent civilians are A-OK with “conservative” Republicans, but organised military airstrikes against terrorists are beyond the pale. I need to find a corner to get sick in…

Artificial Kidney Unit Opens at Lugansk all-Republic Clinical Hospital

______________________________

Today, the Lugansk all-Republic Clinical Hospital (LRKB) opened a new ICU unit with an artificial kidney to treat acute renal failure. Chief LRKB doctor Oleg Volman told us:

We needed to open an artificial kidney unit, but since we lacked the money to do so, we asked [Chairman Plotnitsky], who then gave us 700,000 roubles (67,100 Renminbi. 701,500 INR. 10,500 USD. 14,030 CAD. 14,600 AUD. 9,910 Euros. 6,980 UK Pounds) to do it. In mid-October, Minister of Health Larisa Airapetyan and I told [Plotnitsky] about the problems associated with the formation of a new division in the ICU using an artificial kidney when [Plotnitsky] was here to inaugurate our new minimally invasive surgery unit. After hearing expert opinions, Plotnitsky assured us that he’d see to it that he’d finance creating such a unit. As you can see, both parties kept up their part of the deal. Today, the unit is functioning, we’ve installed the new equipment, so, you can see that it’s a great achievement.

Airapetyan said:

The opening of this unit is very important for the LNR. If in the former Ukrainian times, we still had problems although we had steady funding, now, in the midst of a war, this is a huge step forward.

The new ICU division will essentially serve as a resuscitation unit. Its function is to arrest acute renal failure caused by other serious diseases and conditions. Previously, the LRKB had to transfer these patients to another department for scheduled haemodialysis. Now, a new specialised ICU unit will provide an opportunity to provide assistance quickly in one place, so, there’d be no need to transport patients with acute renal failure, often unconscious, from one department to another. It can also provide effective assistance to a wider range of patients in need of this treatment, for example, pathological pregnancies, acute intoxication, mushroom poisoning, etc.

Volman informed us:

With Russian help, our hospital was able to triple the number of existing haemodialysis machines. Initially, this department only had five usable units, but over the last six months, because the Russians sent us spares for our machines, we’ve been able to repair 15 out of 17 knackered units.

Don’t get buffaloed by Evangelical campaigns… in most cases, they’re much ado about nothing. The Starbucks holiday cup is a non-issue… so is the so-called “Manhattan Declaration” and all the rest of the Evangelical folderol. Do note that former Prods push such rubbish amongst us. I’d mention that Scripture warns us of people like that… it calls them “dogs who return to their vomit”. We have NOTHING to learn from non-Christian sectarians like the Evangelicals. Let’s start acting that way…
