Never forget the TRUE Christ… it’ll save you much grief and misdirection…

I saw the following on FB:

If we can divert a person’s view from suffering in the world towards their own “sinful behaviour”, then, they feel that victory in the moral battle is to stop chewing gum, or drinking beer, or using cusswords, or dressing provocatively. It distracts us from looking at morality in a way that is active and helpful to this world. Morality is more about forgiveness and nonviolence than it is about whitewashing yourself with “perfect behaviour”.

In other words, “conservatives” congratulate themselves on “impeccable” personal behaviour whilst trampling on all others. In short, they embody evil of the most noxious sort. There’s nothing worse than a pseudo-religious prig… nothing. They were the sorts who crucified Our Lord Christ… and thought themselves well justified, at that. We have that sort today… reflect on this whenever you read ANYTHING by John Whiteford, Rod Dreher, or Josiah Trenham. It does shed light on their true character, doesn’t it?
