75th Anniversary of the Beginning of the Siege of Leningrad



Today marked 75 years since the beginning of the siege of Leningrad by the fascists during the Great Patriotic War. The blockade lasted 872 days (from 8 September 1941 to 27 January 1944) and became one of the most tragic pages in the history of the Second World War. To memorialise this momentous occasion, we prepared a thematic collection:
