This was from a concert on the eve of Victory Day this year (8 May 2016). Look at the audience… look at the actors… look at the chorus. Not a single one is making phony gestures or employing empty posturing. There’s a grim determination to face come what may… a sadness that it’s come to that… and a hatred of the Anglo oligarch filth who provoked it. God willing, we’ll avoid war… the Russian people and Russian state don’t want it. However, American “conservatives” are inherently and objectively evil. Their ideology is satanic, twisted, and theomachistic. “Greed is good… money makes the world go round… America is exceptional and can do whatever it pleases”. The worst are the so-called “Christians”… their “religion” has no resemblance to any real lived faith, either past or present (I speak as a Christian believer). The inanity and insanity of what passes for political discourse in the USA floors me. There’s no way that the USA could defeat either China or Russia separately… let alone as united allies, as they are now. A vote for Clinton, Trump, or Johnson is a vote for war… all of their advisors are pro-war (no matter what the candidate may say). A vote for Stein is a vote for peace. America needs peace… Russia and China want peace… the American people crave peace… the Anglo Establishment wants war. Do the maths… vote accordingly.

The original was in Russian, it was a Soviet anti-nuclear poster from Lyudmila Tarasova, dating from 1987. There was an English translation out there, but it was overly literal, “jangly”, and lacked “punch”. I went back to the original, played with the words, and came up with this. Photoshop allows one to play with images like this… there are many legit uses for the software (those who use it to mislead others are evil). It was only a step to making it a Stein/Baraka poster.
