Konstantin Petrovich needs no introduction to the serious student of Russian history, as he’s one of the towering figures of the Imperial Period. He was a jurist, statesman, writer, translator, church historian, and privy councillor. He served as Oberprokurator of the Holy Synod and as a Member of the State Council. He was the leading influence behind Tsar Aleksandr III Aleksandrovich.
