Aleksei Zhuravko: “In the 21th Century, They Killed a Famous Public Figure, a Journalist, a Writer”

Dear Friends!

Today marks the third anniversary of the death of O A Buzina, one of the Ukraine’s finest writers, brutally murdered by nationalist bastards. His books are always on my desk. In the 21st century, they killed a famous public figure, a journalist, a writer. Why is Europe silent? On the other hand, is that the essence of European values? You can kill a man in broad daylight based only on his beliefs, thoughts, and free speech? Over the last three years, it hurts to know that his killers walk free and that no one has faced charges. More than that, his killers aren’t exactly hiding their crime; they’re flaunting it. All of this is happening in front of the world, in front of the EU… all who see it know what happened, but they’re hypocritically silent. However, I’m sure that after the fall of this bloody régime, all those responsible will face justice for this crime against humanity.

Rest in peace, my dear friend! Eternal Memory!

Вечная ему память!

In Respect,

Aleksei Zhuravko
