On Tuesday, DPRK leader Kim Jong-un said at the signing ceremony of the final statement following his meeting with US President Donald Trump:
The world will see a major change. I’d like to express my gratitude to President Trump for making this meeting happen. Today, we had a historic meeting, we decided to leave the past behind.
The meeting between Trump and Kim took place at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa Island. They signed a joint document after the talks.

On Wednesday, KCNA reported that DPRK leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump accepted mutual invitations to exchange visits following talks in Singapore:
On 12 June, Trump said at a news conference in Singapore that he planned to visit Pyongyang in future at a suitable time. Trump also said that he was ready to invite Kim to the White House.
