13 September 2016. President Assad PROTECTS Syrian Christians

_______________________________________

I believe that Metropolitan Joseph, the First Hierarch of the AOCANA, should curb the konvertsy within his ranks, especially, loudmouth clergy such as Josiah Trenham (and those like him). Whatever they may mouth, they support rightwing political factions that support the terrorists that crucify Syria. Trenham in particular has shown that rightwing ideology means more to him than Orthodoxy… first by his support of the Mormon Romney, secondly, by his false teaching that artificial contraception is sinful. The first was collaboration with known and sworn enemies of Christ’s Church, the second was a conscious distortion of the Church’s Teaching (the Church of Antioch agrees with the Church of Moscow, which teaches that artificial contraception is licit via oikonomia). He’s also brought godless Evangelical sectarians onto his Ancient Faith Radio programme. Metropolitan Joseph, you have a shit-spattered byre to clean up. I don’t envy you the task. However, you must do it, but I’ll confide that many of your believers will thank and bless you for doing it. Follow in the footsteps of the late saintly Archbishop Michael Shaheen… not in the footsteps of arrogant konvertsy toddlers…

Remember the Golgotha of Christian Syria… remember who helped… remember who hurt… may God see and judge…

2 July 2016. Antioch on Bart’s Robber Council in Crete

00 bart and biden his masters voice 110616

Bart listens to His Master’s Voice… see the truth… he’s a bought n’ paid-for “house nigger” of the Anglo Neoliberals.

Editor:

This is an excerpt of the original… I also had a friend at the Centre send me a Russian translation, what grammatical corrections exist below agree with the Russian, which is the main secular language of the Church (that is, it’s the language most in use by believers and clergy). However, I emphasise that the changes are rather minor and stylistic in nature; they don’t touch any points of substance. The document speaks for itself. The “council” in Crete was a sham… full stop. How much did the Yanks pay Bart to make a jackass of himself? Do reflect on the fact that his Anglo “minder” is Biden… a rabid anti-Orthodox Russophobic character of the first order. Shitbirds of a feather flock together…

The entire document is here.

The Fathers of the Holy Synod of Antioch noted that the meeting in Crete didn’t fulfil the required conditions to convene a preconciliar conference for a Great Council, according to the Rules of Procedure of all-Orthodox Preconciliar Conferences, adopted in 1986, still valid to date. The Rules of Procedure state that convoking such a conference requires the approval of the First Hierarchs of all the Local Orthodox Churches (Article 2) and that any decision taken must be through the unanimous vote of all the Orthodox Autocephalous Churches (Article 16). These conditions weren’t operative at the meeting in Crete.

The Fathers of the Holy Synod unanimously decided the following:

  1. We consider the meeting in Crete a preliminary meeting towards a future all-Orthodox Council. Thus, we don’t consider its documents final. They’re still open to discussion and amendment upon convoking a Great all-Orthodox Council, one with the attendance and participation of all the Autocephalous Orthodox Churches.
  2. We refuse to assign a conciliar character to any Orthodox meeting that doesn’t involve all the Orthodox Autocephalous Churches; we emphasise that the principle of unanimity remains an essential foundation for inter-Orthodox relationships. Thus, the Church of Antioch and all the East refuses to call the meeting in Crete a “Great Orthodox Council” or a “Great Holy Council”.
  3. We affirm that whatever the meeting in Crete issued, its decisions and all other declarations, doesn’t bind the Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East under any circumstance.
  4. We empower a “Committee for the Follow-Up on the Council’s Issues” to study the results and consequences of the meeting in Crete and to offer a detailed report to the Holy Synod of Antioch and all the East at its next meeting.
  5. We shall send a letter detailing the decision of the Holy Synod of Antioch and all the East to all Autocephalous Orthodox Churches, as well as to civil and religious authorities abroad.
  6. We call upon believers to join the Fathers of the Holy Synod of Antioch and all the East in praying for the preservation and the full manifestation of the unity of the Orthodox Christian witness in today’s world.

The Position of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem on the Interruption of Communion by the Patriarchate of Antioch

01 Arab Orthodox in Beit Jala

______________________________

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem expresses its sorrow on the recent decision of the Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East to break off communion with it, and would like to sincerely and truthfully inform sister Orthodox Churches and its flock about the following:

Firstly

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem, responding to an invitation by the Christians of Qatar, a geographical territory within its ecclesiastical jurisdiction, appointed Theophilos, now Patriarch of Jerusalem, as officiating priest there in 1997, when there was neither a church in the region nor was Christian worship performed there. Ever since and to this day, Orthodox Christians in Qatar attend the liturgy, initially in Houses of Prayer, and since 2009 in the Church of the Glorious Greatmartyr St George, and St Isaac the Syrian, founded by the Patriarchate on a plot of land offered by His Highness Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.

Secondly

The late Patriarch Diodoros of Jerusalem paid a pastoral visit to Qatar in 1999, His Beatitude Theophilos, Patriarch of Jerusalem, in 2010. In the course of this pastoral activity of eighteen years, but also prior to that, the Patriarchate of Antioch never had a presence there; neither had it ever protested for any reason. Its protests were first put forward when the Patriarchate consecrated Archimandrite Makarios, serving there since 2004, as Archbishop of Qatar. The Patriarchate of Jerusalem, by the help of God, developed its project in Qatar into an Inter-Orthodox Multilingual Liturgical Centre for a flock of about 12,000 souls, far from any racial discrimination. By contrast, the Antioch Patriarchate places the question on an ethnic-racial basis, as may be seen in its letter addressed to the Qatar Foreign Ministry, suggesting that “Patriarch Youhanna of Antioch and all the East is the only recognised Patriarch from the Orthodox Community (Taife) across the entire Middle East and represents the Orthodox Community in all Arab countries, including for example Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Jerusalem, Egypt, Bahrain, the Emirates, and Iran”.

Thirdly

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem irrevocably refutes the unsubstantiated claim of the Patriarchate of Antioch for an alleged agreement to alter the title of Archbishop Makarios of Qatar reached during a meeting at the Directorate for Churches of the Hellenic Foreign Ministry in July 2013, invoking the testimony of the delegates of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and of the Directorate for Churches.

Fourthly

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem remains firmly committed to conciliation and dialogue, a stance it held since the beginning, and proposes the setting up of a Committee of Canon Law Experts to rule on the issue, without interrupting the memorial of the sister Orthodox Church of Antioch, for the sake of the unity of the Orthodox Church.

Antioch Breaks Communion with Jerusalem Over Turf War

fight_cartoon

______________________________

I got the following:

The Patriarchate of Antioch broke communion with the Patriarchate of Jerusalem over the non-resolution of the jurisdictional dispute over Qatar. The formal resolution is in Arabic, Greek, and French here. You can get access to the Arabic original at the Patriarchate website here.

I won’t comment on this… if you need further intel, click the links provided above. In most cases, such breaches of communion over turf clashes tend to be temporary.
