12 February 2017. The Church Is NOT Rightwing… Konvertsy Rants to the Contrary Notwithstanding

Rod Dreher (and those of his ideological deformation) claim that the Church and the rightwing are soulmates… natural allies. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Look at the above image and be enlightened. The Church does NOT endorse, teach, or bless the evil spouted by Anglosphere “conservatives”. In particular, it condemns the Free Market that’s at the very centre of “conservative” “thought”. You may follow Archbishop Iakovos Koukouzis or you may follow Pat Buchanan, the author of the racist “Southern Strategy” and the arranger of Reagan’s visit to Bitburg (with its SS graves). Rod Dreher follows Pat Buchanan (and takes Buchanan’s money)… I follow Archbishop Iakovos.

Whom do you follow? You can’t follow both… they’re incompatible. Choose wisely…

28 August 2013. A Picture IS Worth a Thousand Words… Whom Did We Stand With?

Let’s not beat about the bush… whom did we stand with during the Civil Rights era? Look at the pics! Reflect on this… those who stood AGAINST Civil Rights are now all staunch members of the Republican Party. Fancy that… no wonder that their real motto in the last election was “Put the White back in the White House“. I find that disgusting… and I’m not alone in that. That’s why most ethnic Orthodox gave their votes to the Prez (and the bumper stickers at St T‘s and Jackson backed that up). Makes ya wonder about the konvertsy, doesn’t it (they ARE loud-mouthed Righties)? After all, shitbirds of a feather DO flock together…

28 August 2013. Fifty Years of “I Have a Dream”… We Wuz on the Right Side!

00. 50th anniversary. I have a dream. Martin Luther King. 28.08.13

Fifty years ago, Dr Marin Luther King made his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. I’ll not linger on it… the details are available in other places, in more detail and better-put than I could do it. However, I’d like to point up one thing. We Orthodox Christians were on the side of Dr King…. not Bull Connor and George Wallace. After all, Archbishop Iakovos Koukouzis of the GOAA was there on the podium to give Dr King his wholehearted support. That is, we Orthodox supported the activist “progressives”, NOT the racist reactionaries. It’s something for we ethnic Orthodox to remember and for the konvertsy to pause and think about.  Just sayin’…
