11 March 2017. What Is At the Centre of Christianity? S I Fudel Tells You…

____________________________________

No educated Russian needs an introduction to S I Fudel. He spent a good deal of his life in the camps… but had no bitterness or hate. He wrote:

My life wasn’t an endless series of misfortunes and mishaps; it granted me the chance to bear the Cross for Christ’s sake. In a sense, I died in infertility. Nevertheless, in a strange way, it gave me gratitude for life and, more surprisingly, gave me the hope of forgiveness.

The priest in the photo is the famous Mitred Archpriest N V Balashov, the real tsar of the MP OVTsS (Department of External Church Relations… he’s Alfeyev‘s minder and everyone knows it).

Fr Nikolai Balashov Believed that the Words Attributed to an EP Bishop about the Canonical Status of the Ukraine were Just “Journalistic Fiction”

Fr Nikolai Balashov

The MP doesn’t believe that EP Archbishop Iov Gecha stated that the Ukraine was the EP’s canonical territory. Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, Deputy Chairman of the MP Synodal Department of External Church Relations (OVTsS) said:

Archbishop Job is highly educated and expert in canon law; I can’t believe that he’d really claim, “The Ukraine is the canonical territory of the Church of Constantinople”. Such a statement is contrary to historical truth, as well as the official position of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, confirmed many times. Furthermore, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople sent an official notification to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all the Russias that Archbishop Iov would be visiting Kiev.

The well-known Ukrainian sectarian activist Sandeya Adeladzhi, of the Embassy of God cult, a supporter of the schismatics, released the interview with the mentioned statement. It also appeared on the Religious Information Service of the Ukraine (RISU) website, a Uniate-backed enterprise. Don’t forget that the head Uniate recently slandered Orthodox Christians… his fellow Ukrainian citizens. Vladyki Iov took part in services in Kiev at the personal invitation of Metropolitan Onufry Berezovsy of Kiev and all the Ukraine. I think that demonstrates whom the EP recognises as the only canonical Church jurisdiction in the Ukraine.

Journalists “tarted up” the facts; they published them without a twinge of conscience. Any road, attempts to deny the legitimacy of the reunification of the Kiev Metropolia with the MP are more journalistic fiction than a solemn statement of the Orthodox hierarchy. In any case, it’s absolutely devoid of both historical truth and canonical reason. Ecumenical Patriarch Dionysios IV and 21 of his Metropolitans signed the Conciliar Gramota of 1686, all the Eastern Patriarchs recognised it, and no one ever questioned it over the centuries.

Mollard Served Liturgy at OCA Podvorie… Went to Piter… To Leave the Rodina Tomorrow

00 Metr TIkhon Mollard. Moscow. 09.12.14

______________________________

Mollard took the train to Piter, Varsonofy Sudakov met him at the station… as did the American Consul (do you notice how Mollard always kisses ass with American officialdom? Now, that’s Sergianism!). Mollard visited the Aleksandr Nevsky Lavra, but there’s no other details available. This trip produced virtually NOTHING of a public nature. Mollard met with no government figure, let alone VVP or Medvedev. Literally, it’s been nothing but a tourist junket… externally. It did NOTHING to add lustre to Mollard’s stature… quite the opposite. Was that the point? God alone knows. Mollard served liturgy at the OCA podvorie in Moscow, but no local bishop concelebrated. The only local present of any note was Fr Nikolai Balashov, the effectual head of the MP Synodal Department for External Church Relations (OVTsS). That’s not the usual script for a visit of a First Hierarch of a Local Church. This is a signal to Bart… the status of the OCA is negotiable, but the MP will NOT kowtow to Bart publicly, nor will it give on the issue without Bart giving in on issues of Moscow’s concern (rolling up its opposition candy stores in the Baltics, stopping its interference in the Ukraine, and cutting off the Parisian Russians… interest in the last was shown by HH marking the 80th birthday of V N Tiesenhausen and giving him an award). Of course, the Centre doesn’t trust Bart… but it believes that it can do business with him, as the Centre does have the whip hand.

Fr Nikolai Balashov Sez Church Schism in the Ukraine would Die without Political Support

balashov-archpriest-nikolai-1

______________________________

Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, the deputy head of the MP Synodal Department of External Church Relations (OVTsS), thinks that political support is the main reason that the church schism in the Ukraine exists. He said on the Orthodox radio Radonezh, “I’m convinced that if political support dried up, the schism would die in a very short time”. He also commented on the recent decision of the UOC/MP to resume dialogue with the so-called “Kiev Patriarchate”, noting that the beginning of a dialogue aimed at restoring Church unity in the Ukraine, “is very important. It’s important that this dialogue developed along the principles laid down by all the Local Orthodox Churches, namely the return to ecclesial communion of those who, unfortunately, had left it”. He also expressed the hope that the topic of schism, including those in the Ukraine, would become one of the topics discussed at the all-Orthodox Sobor, scheduled for 2016.
