A Russian Fist For Anglo Hooligans

Vitaly Podvitsky

Of course, the UEFA blamed the Russians, even though the Anglo yobbos started the fracas and mayhem. This should’ve learnt the Anglos good on a point of principle… you can start a fight with the Russians, but the Russians will generally finish it (and you). I somehow think that the lesson didn’t sink home this time… just listen to Chilly Hilly’s hate-filled rhetoric about the Rodina (to think that self-hating Orthodox support her! Monstrous!). I fear that the lesson will have to be repeated… with bloody results. Don’t say that I didn’t tell you so…

22 November 2015. Now, For Something ENTIRELY Different… The FK Lokomotiv Moskva “Mascot”

FK Lokomotiv Moskva is one of the main football teams in Moscow. Lokomotiv won the Russian Premier League in 2002 and 2004, the USSR Cup in 1936 and 1957, and the Russian Cup in 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2007, and 2015. The club was the league runner-up in 1959, 1995, 1999, 2000, and 2001, and finished third in 1994, 1998, 2005, 2006, and 2014. Lokomotiv was the Russian Super Cup holder in 2003 and 2005. They’re not known as the Mighty Parovozy (Choo-Choos) for nought. The present roster has 13 players from Russia, 3 from Serbia, 2 from Brazil, and one each from Croatia, Portugal, Senegal, Morocco, the Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Congo-Brazzaville. The Team Captain is centre-back defender Vedran Ćorluka from Croatia. In June 2015, after Ćorluka helped Lokomotiv to win the Russian Cup, fans named him the team’s Player of the Year. The most vocal and raucous backers sit in the South Stand… the side’s main rivals are FK Spartak Moskva (“Meat”), FK Torpedo Moskva (“Black n’ Whites”), and FK Saturn Moscow Oblast (“Aliens”). Therefore, the sports-reader would say, “The Choo-Choos blanked the Black n’ Whites” or “The Aliens trashed the Meat”, and everybody gets it. This little guy is their on-pitch “mascot”. Shades of Thomas the Tank Engine!

Red n’ Green forever! Need you guess which side I back in Russian footie?

Media reports said that Otto Fisher, a 102-year-old FK Spartak Moskva fan, received 500,000 Roubles (53,750 Renminbi. 541,000 INR. 8,650 USD. 10,890 CAD. 11,150 AUD. 7,940 Euros. 5,810 UK Pounds) from the club after a scam artist robbed him. Spartak’s official Twitter account stated that Spartak striker V A Krotov handed the money to Fisher during the recording a programme dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. The tweet noted, “FK Spartak footballers handed 500,000 Roubles to Otto Fisher, a 102-year fan who was recently robbed”. Earlier this month, Spartak’s fan club announced that they’re creating a bank account to benefit Fisher. Team spokesmen said that Spartak would additionally give money collected from the sale of tickets to the game between Spartak and FK Kuban Krasnodar, scheduled for 4 April. Last week, an unknown man who introduced himself as a social worker managed to steal 730,000 Roubles (78,470 Renminbi. 790,000 INR. 12,620 USD. 15,900 CAD. 16,280 AUD. 11,590 Euros. 8,490 UK Pounds) from Fisher’s house in Kopeisk (Chelyabinsk Oblast). Fisher’s story gained wide recognition after he attended a national championship match between Spartak and its Moscow rival FK Dinamo Moskva, a trip organised by Spartak’s fan club. Fisher, who attended the match as a guest of honour, opened the event by ceremonially kicking the ball.
