17 April 2016. It’s Been a Year Since the Fascists Murdered O A Buzina

00 oles buzina 160416

______________________________

It’s been a year since fascist terrorists killed O A Buzina. He had every chance to flee to Russia or the People’s Republics, but he stood his ground in Kiev… he paid the price in full. The Uniates killed Oles Alekseyevich, but they couldn’t kill his legacy or spirit. I wrote this a year ago at the time of his murder. Sadly, it hasn’t gotten better, but worse:

I’ve often stated that the junta-misruled Ukraine has slipped into lawless anarchy. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT REALLY GOES ON THERE. Let me repeat that. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT REALLY GOES ON THERE. I can’t be too strong about that. Why are so many opponents of the junta ending up dead? Damned if I know… no one else knows more than I do, either. The Ukraine has slipped into a crazy Ayn Rand Libertarian hell. If you want to know what Libertarianism leads to, look at what’s happening in the Ukraine. THIS IS WHAT THE US REPUBLICAN PARTY LUSTS FOR… A LAWLESS AND NIHILISTIC ANTI-STATE WHERE NOTHING IS ILLEGAL OR PUNISHABLE, SAVE BY PRIVATE VIOLENCE, RAPINE, AND CRUELTY. No one is going to bring the murderers of opposition lawyers, journalists, and politicians to justice.

Note well that the so-called “Ukrainian Orthodox” and “Ukrainian Catholics” cheer on this nihilistic charade. “The Ukraine for Ukrainians Only!” “Knife the Moskals (Russians)!” They applaud that. It does have its real-world ramifications. If you scream to knife Russians, I’d say that if people start dropping dead, it proves that such people are evil and beyond all redemption. That’s why I’d slip the noose around the necks of Poroshenko, Yatsenyuk, Avakov, Turdchinov, Yushchenko, Denisenko, and Shevchuk and trip the trap with no emotion. Yes… it’s sinful… but the alternative is worse. The Church normally teaches against the death penalty, and I accept that. However, there are rare exceptions, and those who call for the murder of thousands based on their nationality are certainly such exceptions.

I’d hang them all, go to confession, and be absolved knowing that what I’d done wasn’t praiseworthy, but it was necessary. Our fallen world is like that.

Kiselyov Boots VOA and Radio Liberty from the Rodina… Good Riddance to BAD Rubbish!

00 Radio Radonezh

This is the logo of Radio Radonezh, a Church-run media outlet that DOES have things of interest to offer its listeners… Radio Radonezh and Radio Liberty… one of these things is NOT like the other!

______________________________

On Wednesday, Dmitri Kiselyov, the head of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, said that the Voice of America (VOA) was a radio spammer with nothing of interest to offer its audiences. Kiselyov explained that the authorities terminated VOA’s rebroadcasting rights in Russia due to its contract for operation in the Russian Federation expiring. He said, in a 21 March letter to the US Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), which coördinates broadcasting of the two outlets, “It doesn’t have anything to do with the freedom of speech because Voice of America and Radio Liberty have nothing original to say. They sound like they broadcast from another world, at least from a world that doesn’t exist anymore. I regard these radio stations as mere spam on our frequencies. They’re boring and lacking in self-criticism. We aren’t going to coöperate anymore. I don’t feel compelled to help these radio spammers air their shows in Russia”. Kiselyov sent the letter in response to BBG’s inquiry about prolonging the contract for broadcasting VOA. BBG chairman Jeff Shell decried Kiselyov’s letter as an attack on the freedom of speech. VOA is the official external broadcast institution of the US federal government. In 1947, VOA started broadcasting to Soviet citizens in Russian under the pretext of countering the Soviet point of view on American policies {BBG/VOA/RL is widely known as a Langley front organisation: editor}.

Editor:

Now, that the motherland has done this, it’s time for the Church to put Potapov to the question, “Do want to work for Radio Liberty, or, do you want to work for us?” Either he should retract publicly all his earlier public statements about the Rodina and its history, or, he should leave the Church’s service as a pastor in the District. It’s quite that simple. Look, if he wants to support greedster Republican warmongers, hey, let him… but not as a representative of the Church. This is shameful… we shouldn’t have an official of the Church hobnobbing with such Individualist Ayn Rand filth as the Washington Times or the American Enterprise Institute. They knife the motherland in the back… ergo, our clergy should stay away from them and from all those who work for or with them. Let him choose… and give him the boot if he refuses to leave his Russophobic Free Market pals. It’s only fair…

  • A decent provision for the poor is the true test of civilisation.

Reflect on this. Traditionally, the American South, true to its slaving and sectarian roots, REFUSES to make a decent provision for the poor. This tells us much about the region… its history, its “faith”, its mores, and its society. The American Civil War didn’t happen for nought… slavery was only one of the causes. This is one reason why the contemporary Republican Party is evil… it panders to a group that has always treated the poor like dirt under their feet. Sectarianism teaches that only the “elect” will gain salvation and that one of the ways that one can tell the “elect” is that they’re well-off financially. To speak honestly, Jean Calvin would’ve been horrified at how his ideas turned out. Mistrust all who preach that we must “balance the budget” on the backs on the poor, aged, and unemployed. They usually have low motive…

  • To let friendship die away by negligence and silence is certainly not wise. It is voluntarily to throw away one of the greatest comforts of this weary pilgrimage.

THIS is why I value my Cabinet so. I’m always open to them, whenever they need me. I value my friends, whether I agree with them on this or that point. Love (agape) doesn’t require agreement… it requires respect, a very different and better thing.

  • I will be conquered; I will not capitulate.

That is, death does come for us all. This is at the bedrock of my belief. I will NOT succumb to fear or let the knowledge of my personal demise paralyse me. This is our common heritage… no matter what we believe in (and secularists ARE believers, they’re simply not theists). Life IS worth the candle, and there ARE things that one should fight for, even though all of us will face our personal end at one time or another (yes, I AM a religious believer… but I also realise that I must die and leave this life).

  • Sir, your levellers wish to level down as far as themselves; but they cannot bear levelling up to themselves.

Always beware those who push simplistic and enticing nostrums… probably, there’s a hook hidden somewhere. They want to level all of the rest of us to a low level… so that they can lead the pack. Always beware ambition… it lies behind most strident calls to “equality”.

  • I am a great friend to public amusements, for they keep people from vice.

I hate bluenoses and their censorious attitude to drink, cards, the theatre, the racetrack, and all the other innocent amusements that life has to offer. True, one can abuse all of the above. However, abuse is ABUSE… it isn’t use. Blue comedy isn’t sinful; it’s simply a violation of petite bourgeois decorum (Chubby Brown shouldn’t be on before the watershed… but he isn’t “sinful” in the strictest sense)… a very different thing, wot?

  • As I know more of mankind, I expect less of them, and am ready now to call a man a good man, upon easier terms than I was formerly.

One can more readily be tolerant to “sinners” the more one is aware of one’s own sinfulness! Life teaches us that we aren’t any great shakes, either, so, one learns that one’s fellows are worthy of forgiveness. Mind you, forgiveness doesn’t mean “forgetting” or “absence of consequence”. That comes as it will, and our attitude towards an action doesn’t change what it does nor does it transform the impression that it leaves. However, it does deliver us from judgementalism and hate… no small beer, that. Most of all, life teaches us that we commit actions that leave consequence and impression… and that we can’t change them, no matter what we do. The Pharisee or the Publican… whom do YOU prefer?

  • The law is the last result of human wisdom acting upon human experience for the benefit of the public.

One must always mistrust those who speak of “deregulation”. Life teaches us that people are in want of regulation, and that many run rampant if not checked in one way or another. Anyone who tells you that “deregulation” will lead to a paradisiacal nirvana has an agenda… one that doesn’t augur well for their fellow man. We don’t live in the Garden. Mistrust all who worship Ayn Rand.

  • Let us take a patriot, where we can meet him; and, that we may not flatter ourselves by false appearances, distinguish those marks which are certain, from those which may deceive; for a man may have the external appearance of a patriot, without the constituent qualities; as false coins have often lustre, though they want weight.

Look at how contemporary Republicans beat the war drums. Also, note how few of them served in the forces themselves. Richard Cheney said, “I had better things to do”. Mr Cheney was honest, but does “honesty” make one a “patriot?” I think that you see my point. Willard Romney refused to serve in the forces and had his rich daddy “buy” him a bogus clergy deferment (he was a “missionary” in darkest France). Pete Seeger was proud to serve; he served in the Pacific Theatre of World War II (“To tell you the truth, I’m not a pacifist. If an army invaded this country of mine, I’d be the first one up on the firing line”). Beware all those who wrap themselves up in the flag.

  • How is it that we hear the loudest yelps for liberty among the drivers of Negroes?

Take this in its widest sense, not merely that of racial bias (bad as that is). Those screaming loudest for “freedom” are those who wish to deprive others of it for personal gain and profit. For instance, “economic freedom” means the “freedom” to abuse others for personal gain, with no government regulation to prevent it. They scream for “the right to keep and bear arms”, yet, when a black woman merely fires a gun in the air to scare off an abusive husband, they sentence her to twenty years in the slam (but they acquit a white man who killed someone in an incident that the shooter provoked). I’m not the only one to find that hypocritical… and evil. If you hear yelps for “freedom”, ask yourself, “Does this person benefit from a relaxation of the law?” If so, fight that hypocritical bastard with all your might. God expects that of you…

11 October 2013. My Contribution to the Internet Meme “Obama is NOT a Brown-Skinned Socialist…”

00 Obama isn't a brown-skinned socialist. 11.10.13

_______________________________

Here’s my contribution to the internet meme “Obama is NOT a brown-skinned socialist who wants to give away free healthcare… that’s Jesus“. I based it on a painting by Ilya Repin. I’m not jesting or joking… we MUST oppose the godless Republican agenda… it’s Ayn Rand gussied up in Evangelical drag. In short, it’s blasphemous and nasty, and Orthodox Christians shouldn’t have ANYTHING to do with it. Just because someone’s “Pro-Life” doesn’t mean that they support justice and equity… never forget that. It’s time to shut up the loud rightwingers who’ve taken over our “public face”… we need to stand up and be counted, kids.

We have a job of work to do…
