1 July 2018. A Very Happy Birthday to a Friend

________________________

You know who you are. I’m not naming you for there are those who’d give you grief for being my friend. May the Good God keep you and yours… may you have the strength to face the adversities that WILL come your way and the largeness of soul to enjoy the good things that life has to offer. My love to you and to all those around you. I bow low before you on this day… keep it focused and sweet…

20 October 2017. Monday was My Nicky’s Birthday

________________________

On Monday, my Nicky was 67-years-old. I love him without reservation. I’ll never forget how he saved me from a bad situation, at a cost to himself. I’ll allow no one to attack my man… full stop. I’m here for him, for as long as he needs me. On Tuesday, we had a lovely birthday dinner at Bucca di Beppo… I knew that’s what would make him happiest. His happiness made my day… it wasn’t cheap, but it was worth every penny, and I’m glad that it made him smile so much. It was his day, after all.

I hope that you have love in your life, too…

23 April 2017. Benny Ratz Still Suckin’ Down the Sudz at Age 90

____________________________________

Here’s proof that Benedict XVI Ratzinger isn’t only hale n’ hearty, he still enjoys a good litre of brewski. Here, he greets a delegation from his native Bavaria on his birthday. Ninety-years-old and still goin’ strong… will he reach 100? Will he outlive Franky Bag o’ Donuts? Who knows? Maybe, Fr Guido Sarducci has the inside intel (“Finda the Pope in the Pizza”)…

“We’re Brothers; We’re One!”: Aleksei Zhuravko’s Thoughts on His Birthday

____________________________________

Dear Friends!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for the good wishes [on my birthday]. I want to tell you that many people from the Ukraine congratulated me. Not everyone thinks I’m separatist and a traitor. On my birthday, many wrote me telling that they understand exactly what’s happening in the Ukraine and who actually brought us to this mess. Everyone who wrote me said one thing:

We’re brothers; we’re one!

I’m sure that things will get change for the better and there’ll be peace for all of us. It’s going to be as it was in earlier times; we’re going to live together without borders. I want to say a separate “thank you” to all my friends who are in the occupied part of the Ukraine, who oppose the invaders of my beloved country. I’d like to say the same to the people who support me in the current fight against fascism. Once again, thank you all! I bow in respect before all of you! I love all of you!

In Respect,

Aleksei Zhuravko
