12 March 2015. Blasphemous Uniate “Icon”… If You Wanted Proof of Their Blasphemy… THIS is It

00 Uniate blasphemy. 12.03.15

______________________________

I’m not going to say much. This is EVIL and it’s BLASPHEMOUS. Why do John Jillions, Jonas Paffhausen, Freddie M-G,  and Vassa Larina suck up to such evil sorts? WHY? It’s beyond the pale. It does point up the true Heart of Darkness of the Unia. I’ve got to walk away from this…

THIS IS DEMONIC… can one still support the Uniate Terror State (what does that tell you about Potapov, Lyonyo, and his daughter?) in any way? Anyone who advocates any form of official public contact with Uniates or writes in favour of their “Ukrainian” pseudo-state is an enemy of the Church… FULL STOP…

Orthodox people… pass this around… “shout it from the rooftops”… our coreligionists not only face an enemy, they face sheer evil, as this image testifies. If you doubted Satan’s existence, doubt it no longer… this is the work of one of his votaries.

Ukrainian President Yanukovich Demanded Punishment for FEMEN’s Vandalism of the Cross in Kiev

______________________________

On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich said that the political activists who chopped down a wooden Orthodox Christian cross in Kiev committed an act of vandalism that deserves a categorical reaction from the judicial system. Activists from the Ukrainian feminist group FEMEN cut down a wooden crucifix with a chainsaw in mid-August, allegedly in support of jailed members of the Russian punk band Pussy Riot. The crucifix was erected in 2004 in memory of victims of political repression. Yanukovich said at a meeting with Church leaders in Kiev, “It’s an alarming sign… I demand that the judicial system respond in a most categorical manner to this barbarian act”. Following FEMEN’s Kiev protest, copycat acts of vandalism involving cross-cutting spread across Russia; this sparked outrage amongst Orthodox clergy and believers. Earlier, a senior Moscow priest, Dmitri Smirnov, said the cross vandalism amounted to a declaration of war against the Church.

Local Copts Tired of Being Linked to Arrested Anti-Muslim Filmmaker

_______________________________

Fr Mauritius Mikhail of St George Coptic Orthodox Church in Bellflower CA acknowledged that the man known as Nakoula Basseley Nakoula attended occasional services at his church three years ago. However, he added that most parishioners didn’t know Nakoula, an Egyptian Copt who also uses the name Mark Youssef. Fr Mauritius said that the man’s arrest this week on a probation violation didn’t surprise him, and he suspects that other Coptic Christians won’t be, either, saying, “I haven’t spoken, because his arrest is something very recent, I heard about it from the news just yesterday. However, the anger, or the disturbance, wasn’t because he was arrested, but because the movie itself was something very inappropriate”.

Two weeks of news headlines that connect Nakoula and his incendiary film, Innocence of Muslims, to Southland Copts have shed unwelcome light on a small low-profile immigrant religious group. Shortly after an Arabic-dubbed trailer for the film surfaced on YouTube, its producer also claimed that Israelis helped to finance the project. There’s no evidence to support that assertion. Fr Joseph Boules, a priest at Ss Mary and Verena Church in Anaheim CA, said that he’s had to explain repeatedly to journalists that the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles never endorsed anti-Muslim rhetoric like that found in Nakoula’s film.

Fr Joseph said that news outlets in Egypt and in the USA are equally responsible for offering false representations of Coptic Christianity, saying, “Everyone’s condemned the movie. It isn’t worthy of this attention at all. If we hold people responsible for their actions, then, we do away with the labels… they have no place in the conversation. However, what was behind putting these two words before his name, Coptic Christian? So, for that, I do hold the media responsible to a large extent”. Fr Joseph said that the intense media attention upset many of his parishioners, but he added that the opportunity Copts now have to explain their faith better may turn out, in the long run, to be a “blessing”.

HH sez the Church Has No Interest in Taking over the State’s Role

HH wants to be a pastor, NOT a government minister…

______________________________

On Friday, Patriarch Kirill Gundyaev, the First Hierarch of the Patriarchate of Moscow and all the Russias, shot back at critics that accused him  of confusing the roles of the state and the Church, as allegedly evidenced by a draft bill criminalising religious offences, by saying, “The Church isn’t interested in obtaining state powers or even state status as in certain European countries”, in an apparent reference to the legal privileges of Lutheran churches in Scandinavia. However, His Holiness said that demands to separate Church and state often mask an attempt to force the Church to give up its ministerial mission, and that believers should abandon their civil rights and responsibilities. He spoke at a conference at Moscow State University, which students reported earlier to be forced to attend, a move that drew rebuke from Church leadership.

A bill proposing punishing offences against religious sentiment with jail terms of up to three years is currently pending review in the RF Gosduma, where observers expect all four major parliamentary factions to back it. The bill’s critics say it discriminates against unbelievers and is aimed at strengthening the union between the Kremlin and the Church, which flourished after Kirill backed Putin’s presidential bid earlier this year.
