Putin Called Allegations Trump Passed Secrets to Lavrov “Political Schizophrenia”

________________________

President V V Putin was speaking with the Italian Prime Minister in Sochi when the Italian asked him about the latest events in the USA. Putin said of these outlandish claims:

We’re seeing a developing political schizophrenia in the USA. There’s no other way I can explain the accusations against the US President that he gave away some secrets to Lavrov. Those who spread them (rumours) are either stupid or dangerous. Russia doesn’t interfere in US political activities. I’ll show the world the Russian transcripts of the entire meeting, should the USA give us permission to do so.

He echoed the remarks of Presidential Spokesman D S Peskov who called the allegations “absurd”. Meanwhile, MID RF spokesman M V Zakharova said:

It’s part of a campaign that began before the US presidential election and gone on since then. This is another attempt to exert pressure on the new US administration and make deals related to various political appointments and lobbying. We can’t even say now that there’s media bias because they’re openly fulfilling political orders. The article mentions no evidence; it comes from information received from unknown sources. Actually, there’s a typical pattern about the way that such articles come out and the response that they get.

Putin sez US strikes Against Syria an Act of Aggression Against a Sovereign Country

____________________________________

On Friday, D S Peskov, President Putin’s media contact, told reporters:

President Putin considers the US strikes against Syria an act of aggression against a sovereign country violating the norms of international law, and under a trumped-up pretext at that. The Syrian army has no stockpiles of chemical weapons. The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), a UN department, registered and confirmed the fact that Syria eliminated all chemical weapons stockpiles. Putin believes that the total disregard for the use of chemical weapons by terrorists only exacerbates the situation significantly. Putin also sees the strikes on Syria by the USA as an attempt to divert the attention of the international community from numerous civilian casualties in Iraq. Washington’s move substantially impairs Russian-US relations, which are in a deplorable state as it is. Furthermore, most importantly, Putin believes that this step doesn’t bring us closer to the ultimate goal in the fight against international terrorism. On the contrary, it creates serious obstacles to efforts in forging an international coalition to fight against it and effectively counter this global evil. By the way, US President Trump proclaimed this as one of the key objectives during his election campaign.

Kremlin Commented on Trump’s Wiretapping Claims

_____________________________________________

On Monday, Kremlin spokesman D S Peskov told reporters when they asked him to comment on US President Donald Trump’s statement [about the wiretapping of his Trump Tower offices by then-US President Obama]:

We shouldn’t in any way become associated with internal US problems. We have no desire and no intention in any way to be associated with these affairs.

On Saturday, Trump posted on Twitter to accuse Obama of having his “wires tapped” at his Trump Tower headquarters prior to the 2016 presidential election, describing this as the former administration’s “new low”. Trump went on to compare the alleged surveillance to McCarthyism and the Watergate scandal. An Obama spokesman rejected these claims. The news comes amid reports of alleged ties with Russian officials by Trump’s team. On 15 February, the New York Times reported, citing phone records and intercepted calls, members of Trump’s presidential campaign team and several associates allegedly contacted Russian intelligence and government officials prior to the 2016 US election. Both Washington and Moscow repeatedly refuted these allegations.

KPRF Gosduma Deputy Kalashnikov: “Aid the DNR to Liberate Everything Up to Odessa”

____________________________________

KPRF Gosduma Deputy L I Kalashnikov was on the talk-show Воскресный вечер (Voskresny vecher: Sunday Night):

We should round-up all war criminals in the Ukraine up to President Poroshenko and give them all a fair trial. I’m sure Mariupol also will secede, as will Kharkov and Zaporozhye, too. When they tell me, “Russia shouldn’t be there, no, it shouldn’t… we shouldn’t go there”. I’ll tell you, man-to-man, not as a deputy… we should be there. Why, in Panama, the Americans removed Ortega and threw him in the slam, they didn’t hesitate. Today, the USA is already in the Ukraine, in Asia, and elsewhere; it didn’t hesitate to nick our citizen Bout in Thailand and put him in the slam… we just watched them do it. We must go in there and nab Poroshenko… we have a legit criminal case against those who cut down our people, burned them like in the ovens at Auschwitz at the Odessa Dom Profsoyuzov. Why should we wait for a Ukrainian court to act? No! We shouldn’t! My constant thought is, “Why should we make such excuses as, ‘The Ukraine isn’t ours, it’s a foreign state’”. Well, Panama was a foreign state and Mexico was a foreign state, but the Americans weren’t afraid to act there, so, why are we hesitating? Of course, the President can’t say this; Peskov can’t say this… but I must say that we aren’t fools. Our people want us to go there; it’s our kinsmen in the Donbass. We need to intervene to aid the DNR to liberate everything up to Odessa and make the Ukraine normal again.
