I called it months ago. I’ll call it now. The Big Orange Cunt is gonna win. All the pundits didn’t get it. Many of my close friends, whose intelligence I respect, didn’t get it. Now, they owe me money and grog. This isn’t about Americans being stupid. People who say that are only bolstering their own egos because they think that people who voted for Trump are stupid. People who voted for Trump aren’t stupid. They’re smart enough to know that Clinton is a monster. Clinton is more of the same. More of the same is shit. They don’t want to eat that shit anymore. Trump promised to change it all. For good or ill, I reckon he will. He’ll make nice with Russia, as he should. I hope that he’ll stop waging insane and endless wars with the Middle East. The markets will shit themselves, but they’ll recover, as they did after Brexit. This isn’t about it now being OK to abuse women. This is about kicking those insane liberals who love Clinton like junkies love smack, right in the face. Pieces of Political Correct, world-crushing, spirit-eating trash. Fuck you all. I hope you kill yourselves. Clinton is a fucking nightmare. She always has been. Do some research. To have her running America is simply unthinkable. She’s human garbage… a person so utterly consumed with power it eats her, as Julian Assange stated. The national vote is his. The senate is his. It’s done. Get over it.

The Sneering Response to Trump’s Victory Reveals Exactly Why He Won

THIS is what the “herd” voted against… the studied hatred of them by their “betters”. It was a revolt against the entrenched Bush/Clinton oligarchy and their Upper Middle minions. Shall it succeed? Only time will tell us…

If you want to know why Trump won, just look at the response to his winning. Look at the lofty contempt for “low information” Americans. Look at the barely concealed disgust for the rednecks and cretins of “flyover” America who are apparently racist, misogynistic, and homophobic. Look at the haughty sneering at the vulgar moneyed American political system, and how it allowed a wealthy candidate to poison the little people’s mushy malleable minds. The suggestion that American women, more than 40 percent of whom are thought to have voted for Trump, suffer from internalised misogyny… that is, they don’t know their own minds, the poor dears. The hysterical borderline apocalyptic claims that the world is now infernally screwed because “our candidate”, the good pure person, didn’t get in.

This response to Trump’s victory reveals why Trump was victorious. Because those who do politics these days… the political establishment, the media, the academy, the celeb set… are so contemptuous of ordinary people, so hateful of the herd, so convinced that the mass of society can’t be trusted to make political decisions, and now those ordinary people have given their response to such top-down sneering and prejudice. Oh, the irony of observers denouncing Middle America as a seething hotbed of hatred even as they hatefully libel it a dumb and ugly mob. Having turned America’s “left behind” into the butt of every clever East Coast joke, and the target of every handwringing newspaper article about America’s dark heart and its strange Bible-toting inhabitants, the political and cultural establishment can’t now be surprised that so many of those people have turned around and said… well, it begins with F and ends with U.

The respectable set’s allergy to Trump is fundamentally an allergy to the idea of democracy itself. To them, Trump’s rise confirms the folly of asking the ignorant, the everyday, and the non-subscribers to the New York Times, to decide on important political matters. They’re explicit about this now. In the run-up to Election Day, big-name commentators wondered aloud if democracy is all it’s cracked up to be. Andrew Sullivan said that Trump’s ascendancy showed we need better checks and balances on “the passions of the mob”. He went on to say:

We should cool and restrain [these] temporary populist passions. We shouldn’t allow feeling and emotion to override reasoned deliberation.

The little folks only feel and wail, you see, and it’s down to the grown-ups in the system to think coolly on their behalf. Elsewhere, a writer for the New York Times asked Americans to consider installing a monarchy, which could rise above the “toxic partisanship” of party politics… that is, above open, swirling, demos-stuffed political debate. In a new book called Against Democracy… that says it all… Georgetown philosopher Jason Brennan argues for an epistocracy, an “aristocracy of the wise”, who might decide political matters for those of us who are “low information” (i.e. stupid). This echoes the anti-democratic turn of liberals in the 2000s, when it was argued that daft Bush-backing Americans increasingly made decisions, “not with their linear logical left brain, but with their lizard, more emotional, right brain”, in Arianna Huffington’s words. Such vile contempt for the political democratic capacities of the ordinary person has been in great evidence following Trump’s win… across Twitter and in apocalypse-tinged instant responses… it’s likely to intensify. Anti-Trump will morph more explicitly into anti-democracy.

If this all sounds familiar, that’s because it’s the same kind of pleb-fearing horror that greeted the Brexit result four months ago. A headline in the Guardian said, “Why elections are bad for democracy”. A writer for Foreign Policy said that the people are deluded and it is the task of those with “reason and expertise” to “un-delude” them. A pained George Monbiot wondered, “What if democracy doesn’t work? What if it never has and never will?” Boom. That’s it. The secret and not-so-secret cry of the élites and the experts and the observers over both Brexit and Trump is precisely that… “What if democracy doesn’t work?” It’s not so much Trump they fear as the system that allowed him to get to the White House… that pesky ridiculous system where we must ask ordinary people… shudder… what they think should happen in the nation.

The anti-Brexit anti-democrats claimed they were merely opposed to using rough simplistic referendums to decide on huge matters. That kind of democracy is too direct, they said. Yet, now, they’re raging over Trump’s election via a far more complicated tempered democratic system. That’s because… I know this is strong, but I’m sure it’s correct… it’s democracy itself that they hate. Not referendums, not UKIP’s blather, not only direct democracy, but also democracy as an idea. Against democracy… so many of them are now. They fear the engagement of the throng in political life. They dread and disdain the people… ordinary, working, non-PhD-holding people. It’s what got Trump to the White House… the right of all adults, even the dumb ones, to decide about politics… that gives them sleepless nights. This nasty reactionary turn against democracy by so many of the well-educated both explains the victory of Trump, which neatly doubles up as a slap in the face of the establishment, and confirms why democracy is more important today than it has ever been. Because it really would be folly, madness in fact, to let an élite that so little understands ordinary people, and in fact loathes them, to run society unilaterally. Now, that would be dangerous, more dangerous than Trump is.

Why did folks vote for Trump? People hate Liberalism. That isn’t the Left… it’s the “conservatives”, “liberals”, and “progressives”. The people rightfully see that as a shell game. All of them are proponents of Capital… all of them look down on the people, especially “conservatives” (the so-called “paleoconservatives” are the worst, as they’re the biggest poseurs and phonies of the lot). Liberalism is a profoundly anti-people ideology… Anglosphere “conservatism” is Liberalism writ large, as there’s no place for tradition or patriotism, only obeisance to commerce, filthy lucre, and bourgeois smarminess. The people rejected that. Yes, Trump is a tycoon… but he broke with his class. Look at how the MSM lined up to attack him. I voted for Dr Jill, but I can understand why people voted for Trump. The people hate Liberalism for Laissez-Faire Liberalism stole away their livelihoods, their dignity, and their sense of civitas. The Liberals stole that from the people in the name of the Almighty Dollar. Again… never forget… all Anglosphere “conservatives” are a subset of Liberalism… they’re not Conservative in the least. The Left is something else… actually, usually, it’s MORE socially conservative than “conservatives” are… Comrade Zyuganov wanted to give the belt to Pussy Riot in public and the late Comrade Gus Hall was more Joe Six-Pack than he was a Joe Stalin. Trust me… some of the most socially conservative people in Russia today are in the KPRF… the Peoples Republics in the Donbass are Red, but they’re not PC at all, in fact, they’re the opposite. Liberalism is BAD… but socialism is good, as most socialists aren’t PC. Think on that.

McFaul Fail: Former US Ambassador to Russia Can’t Wrap Head Around Trump

Trump is many things… but he’s not the Tribune of the Evangelicals… thank the good God…

Donald Trump’s stunning upset in the US elections Tuesday night prompted an almost endless source of telling reactions from people from all walks of life and corners of the globe. Former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul is just one of them. McFaul, who resigned from that post in 2014, was active on Twitter on election night. Moments before the vote count was in, he tweeted, presumably sarcastically:

If Trumps wins, I’ll be first to congratulate him.

After the announcement that Trump was the president-elect, McFaul did congratulate the mogul-turned-reality-TV-star-turned-US-president:

Congratulations President-elect Trump.

McFaul’s next tweet was:

I’m in shock, but the American people have spoken.

Apparently, that shock is what prompted what came next. At first, McFaul seemed coherent, even posting some ideas on foreign policy:

Biggest loser in the world tonight is the Ukraine. Your only hope is to get really serious about reform and keep Euros supportive.

It’s hard to argue with that, given that US Vice President Joseph Biden, known for his close contact with Ukrainian President Poroshenko, is on his way out, no doubt along with other Obama Administration officials behind that country’s coup. Perhaps, concrete predictions are unwise now, but Trump said enough during his campaign to suggest that the USA is likely to reduce its intervention in other states’ internal affairs. Then, things got weird. Two hours after the vote count was over, McFaul congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, Sputnik International (thanks, Ambassador!), and activist Mariya Katasonova, with the Trump victory. We don’t know exactly why he picked that particular cast of characters, although in his acceptance speech, Trump did set something of a peacemaking tone:

We’ll seek common ground, not hostility. Partnership, not conflict.

Putin expressed a willingness to work together to improve bilateral relations with Washington, and perhaps Trump’s victory does indicate international tensions, perpetually tightened over the course of Obama’s presidency, may loosen. As for Sputnik, we’re flattered, but we think you misplaced your congrats. Dear Ambassador McFaul, Sputnik News Agency didn’t work on behalf of Donald Trump’s victory, so, whilst we appreciate the credit, we certainly don’t deserve anything of the sort. With the US mainstream media praising ad nauseam Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, lulling the American public into a false sense of security in a Clinton win, we were only doing our jobs… telling the untold. Thanks to the selective approach taken by many of our colleagues in the States, we are never very short of things to tell. Evidently, however, McFaul meant to lump Sputnik into Russia’s alleged meddling in the US presidential election. The former envoy tweeted, then deleted… but not before a number of people responded:

Putin intervened in our elections and succeeded. [Good job].

Simonyan’s reply was:

Doctor, you flatter me.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Mariya Zakharova was more thorough in a response on Facebook:

First, the Obama Administration appointed these “McFauls” to positions of responsibility, and entrusted to them the management of not only their own country, but many vassal states, and when the situation came to stalemate, it started shouting that Moscow is to blame for everything.

After McFaul deleted his post, he claimed that he had heard “better arguments”, and that “facts and logic matter to him”. After a massive campaign to blame Russia, without evidence, of interfering in the race, we’re not so sure about those facts and logic to which you refer, Mr Ambassador.
