12 July 2018. “Russian Insider” and “Russian Faith” Allied With “The Daily Stormer”… Hate Tries to Infiltrate Christ’s Church

Here’s Yelena Khanga, a presenter on RT. Guess what? REAL Russians aren’t racists. Yes, we have racist fools… all groups have them, sadly enough. However, both the Church and the State condemn racism. Does this mean that all racism is gone? No… but it does mean that racism has no official support, either from the Church or from the State.

Most Russians would act like this… it’s a clip from the famous movie Tsirk (Circus). I’m proud to say that my people LIBERATED the death camps… they didn’t stuff Jews into the ovens like the “superior” Westerners did!

Look at this. Russian Insider and Russian Faith are Far Right websites that pretend to be pro-Russian and pro-Orthodox. By posting material marked explicitly from The Daily Stormer, these sites crossed a line. No decent person can have ANYTHING to do with such perversion. Yes… there are Russian Orthodox people here in the diaspora who support such fascist filth. These people also support the glorification of the traitors Krasnov and Vlasov (who took up arms against the Rodina at the behest of the fascists); in general, they support the Anti-Life racist programme of the Republican Party. Where does the Church really stand? Let these two images tell the tale…

Russia is a multinational, multicultural, and multireligious state and civilisational space. President Putin has made that clear on many occasions. Don’t listen to lies from American “liberals” and “conservatives”. Both have hate-based agendas grounded in greed and arrogance.

I’m tired of the distortions of the Rodina offered by both “conservatives” and “liberals”. The Daily Stormer can rot in hell for its racism. Maxine Waters can rot in hell for her racism… her hatred of the Rodina qualifies as such. We’re neither angels nor devils. We’re just sinful-ginful human beings, no better or no worse than any other. Beware all those who peddle hate… of whatever stripe. Whether it comes from the Trumpkins or the Hillarybots, it’s the same vile and noisome brew. I spit on both of them and everything that they stand for.

Not all hate is obvious… some of the most seemingly anti-racist people harbour the vilest sentiments. Have a care… the times aren’t good.

Huxley Is Much Scarier

________________________

What Orwell feared were those who’d ban books. What Huxley feared was that there’d be no reason to ban a book… for no one would want to read one. Orwell feared those who’d deprive us of information. Huxley feared those who’d give us so much that it’d reduce us to passivity and egoism. Orwell feared we’d become a captive audience. Huxley feared a sea of irrelevance would drown the truth. Orwell feared that we’d become a captive culture. Huxley feared we’d become a trivial culture, preoccupied with some equivalent of the feelies, the orgy porgy, and the centrifugal bumblepuppy. As Huxley remarked in Brave New World Revisited, the civil libertarians and rationalists who are ever on the alert to oppose tyranny “failed to take into account man’s almost infinite appetite for distractions”. In Brave New World, they control by inflicting pleasure. In short, Orwell feared that what we hate would ruin us. Huxley feared that what we love would ruin us.

15 February 2018. A Thought from Vladyki Lazar

“Everyone needs to carry their cross”… this reminds me of puffed-up clergy such as Trenham, Paffhausen, Damick, and Reardon… they turn more people away from Christ and His Church than they attract to it… those that they do attract are nutters we’re better off without.

It isn’t that atheists in the West don’t believe in God; rather, many of them believe in Him, but hate Him. This is because they see the Western God as being “out to get them”. He’s preached as vain and vindictive, looking for an excuse to punish you, while claiming to love you.

Photios Kontoglou

Indeed, God is preached, not only in the West, but by some Orthodox clergy, as being the supreme child-abusing father who pretends to forgive, but actually punishes his own Son in the most hideous manner on behalf of mankind for his own satisfaction. However, punishment and forgiveness are mutually exclusive. You can have one or the other, but not both. Who actually would want to spend eternity in the house of an abusive father?

10 February 2018. Some Thoughts from Vladyki Lazar

_______________________

Frankly, I’m not so certain why the existence of evil should be an enigma. Evil is primarily “the absence of empathy”, which is why the two prime commands of Christ are to love God will all your being and to have empathy for your neighbour (which is the only way that you could love your neighbour as yourself). Loss of empathy is evident in the “Fall” story because it chronicles the birth of ego, egoism, and self-love. Those characteristics are at the very essence of Satan and the root of the demonic. Perhaps, this is why Romanides insisted that the way to defeat Satan was through growth in unselfish love.

Please, please, people of faith, don’t assert what “Jesus would do” or what “Jesus wouldn’t do”. Nobody knows the answer to that, and it’s such a tired formula. Moreover, it really is important to remember that we follow the Christ, and it isn’t painful to refer to Him as Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus (I realise that’s primarily the Orthodox Christian practice, but I’d like to encourage our fellow Christians to practise it also). Salvation really does consists in the restoration of the human nature to unity with God in the person of Christ Jesus, who has saved us, not by being a human sacrifice to God, but by ransoming us from the power of death, thus redeeming us from the bondage to “him who held the power of death”. He’s the recapitulation (as Apostle Paul says) of the human nature. He accomplished this because He is the Christ, Who is fully God become also, at the same time, without dilution or admixture, fully wholly human… ending, in Himself, the alienation of the human nature from the Divine, and making our Theosis possible. Jesus is never “just Jesus”… He’s always and inseparably the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Remember… we follow Him… He doesn’t follow us.
