17 April 2016. Pope Francisco Invited Bernie… NOT Chilly Hilly… NOT Trump or Cruz

00 pope and bernie and morales 150416

Pope Francisco Bergoglio even gave Bernie a short personal audience… something usually reserved for heads of state (Putin, Medvedev, and Lukashenko have had such private personal audiences). What do those Guineas in the Curia know that we don’t? They’ve got one of the best intel nets in the world and they’re a sharp bunch… after all, they’ve been around for a LOOONG time… you don’t survive that many centuries by being stupid.

Chilly Hilly is toast. It’s all over save for the media circus…

“The USA is Enraged. They Need Edward Snowden for a Show Trial”

00 Uncle Sam. I Want You to Blow the Whistle on Fascism. 06.07.13

Edward Snowden is tired of sitting in a tight spot. The fugitive CIA contractor has been in the transit area of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport for two weeks now. Earlier this week, he applied for political asylum to more than twenty countries. President Vladimir Putin was one of the first to respond positively to the request, but set a condition, “If he wants to stay here, there’s one condition… he must stop his activities aimed at inflicting damage to our American partners. He, judging by everything, doesn’t intend to stop such work, so, he has to choose a country and move there”. Snowden agreed that Russia wasn’t the best option for him, and continued seeking asylum.

Meanwhile, Moscow hosted the Gas Exporting Countries Forum. Amongst the participants were leaders from Iran, Venezuela, and Bolivia, which, definitely, one can’t accuse of worshipping Washington. When reporters asked him to comment on the Snowden affair, Bolivian President Juan Evo Morales Ayma said that he was willing to consider Mr Snowden’s request. That answer almost cost the Bolivian president his life. When he flew out of Moscow, (from Vnukovo airport, not Sheremetyevo, where Mr Snowden is holed up) all of a sudden, France and Portugal barred him from their airspace, and Spain withdrew a permit to land in the Canary Islands to refuel. These governments feared that the fugitive American spy could illegally be on board the presidential plane. By the way, this was after Snowden revealed to Europeans just how their NATO ally and partner was secretly spying on EU citizens and intercepting telephone calls of EU leaders.

Against such a background, the European countries barred from their airspace a man who could theoretically help Mr Snowden. Bruno Gollnisch, a member of the European Parliament, said in a VOR interview that this outraged him, saying, “Unfortunately, our government took the position of worshipping the USA. The only reaction to the information about American wiretapping was a request to postpone free trade talks for two weeks. I’m staggered how dependent on the USA we are. I’m even more staggered that France barred Evo Morales’s aircraft from our airspace. I believe it is a real shame for my country”. Vienna permitted President Morales to make an emergency landing. The Bolivian president enjoyed Austria’s hospitality for more than 12 hours, until an Austrian representative inspected the presidential plane and assured Madrid that there were no illegal passengers. Later, the European countries involved had to explain the incident with the plane.

Sergei Mikheyev said, “This incident is yet another failure for US intelligence. This is a serious failure for the American intelligence services, of the entire management system, and of all American foreign policy in general. The USA is enraged. They need Edward Snowden for a show trial in order to teach others not to do something like this ever again. However, they failed to catch him; so, they started making mistakes. This incident is yet another mistake. Snowden wasn’t on board the plane. Once again, they made a blunder in front of the whole world”.

In solidarity with Evo Morales, Latin American countries reacted angrily to the incident, and demanded that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon issue a statement on the incident. Meanwhile, Edward Snowden continues to send requests for asylum to different countries. Lawyer Janis Yuksha said, “When everything’s sorted out, nothing will prevent him from leaving Sheremetyevo. He’s got a passport, but the problem is that it’s invalid. However, this document legitimises him, i.e. identifies him. We can identify a person collating photos and other data. I want to say that many countries give asylum to refugees without any documents at all. Snowden has lots of them. Nevertheless, his status is unusual, as the USA annulled his passport, but it can’t annul his citizenship. Therefore, he’s a citizen of that country, but he doesn’t want to go back there. Being in the transit area, he isn’t actually on any country’s territory”. As of today, Venezuela and Nicaragua indicated that they’d give Edward Snowden asylum.

Venezuelan President Maduro Claimed CIA Behind Morales Plane Incident

00 Bolivian Presidential Aircraft. 06.07.13

Media reports quoted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros as saying that the recent decision by a number of EU countries to close their airspace to Bolivian President Juan Evo Morales Ayma’s plane was due to a demand from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Venezuelan national news agency AVN quoted Maduro as saying, “A very important minister told us that the CIA contacted the authorities of Portugal, Italy, and France to close their airspace to President Morales”. Bolivia accused France, Italy, Spain and Portugal of violating international law after a plane carrying Morales was diverted Tuesday and searched Wednesday over suspicions that it might have fugitive American intelligence contractor Edward Snowden on board.

Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca Céspedes said Morales’ plane taking him home after an energy meeting in Moscow had to land in Austria after France and Portugal revoked permission for the plane to enter their airspace. The incident provoked a diplomatic scandal… the leaders of Bolivia and other South American nations demanded explanations. Later, France apologised to Bolivia for closing its airspace to Morales. Many people believe that Snowden is still in the transit area of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport. A former contractor for the US National Security Agency, he’s wanted by the USA for disclosing a top-secret surveillance programme that allegedly targeted millions of Americans.

Editor’s Note:

Maduro’s assertion is quite credible, as the CIA has done questionable things of similar nature in the past. For instance, the USA pressured Germany to deny pension benefits to ex-NVA soldiers and officers, and it leaned on the Germans to put strict limits on the number of former-NVA servicemen admitted to the Bundeswehr (no generals were allowed in, for instance). The NVA cadre were fully professional and fully the equals of their Western confrères (they were considered the best of the East Bloc forces)… one can only surmise that the USA didn’t want competent LEFTIST officers in the Bundeswehr. Former senior NVA officers were forced to find work as cabbies and security guards… whilst former Nazis received German pensions with the beaming approval of the US Republican Party. Shitbirds of a feather do flock together, don’t they?

Orthodox people shouldn’t forget how the CIA treated Ecumenical Patriarch Maximos Vaportzis (in this regard, reflect on the fact that Potapov, Paffhausen, Webster, Mattingly, and Dreher are all rightwing US government bumsuckers of the worst possible sort). If the CIA didn’t scruple at toppling an Ecumenical Patriarch or at pressuring Germany to mistreat NVA vets, it wouldn’t scruple at pressuring EU governments to halt the flight of a hated opponent’s aircraft.

Meeting of Native American Chiefs of the USA and Canada to Take Place in Moscow

00 Sacred Pe' Sla is NOT a Mere Commodity. Sioux. 13.12.12

Pe’ Sla in the Black Hills is one of the most significant cultural/spiritual sites of the Sioux Nation. Recently, its greedy owners put it up for sale, but the Sioux Nation was able to redeem it by buying it outright.

Pavel Sulandziga, chairman of the working group for Development of the North, Siberia, and the Far East in the RF Public Chamber, announced that in mid-January 2013, for the first time, a meeting of the chiefs of Native American tribes of Canada and the USA with worldwide indigenous leaders would take place in Russia. In the light of all the noise raised by the international and Russian mass media in relation to the notorious end of the world bruited for 21 December, Sulandziga’s assessment of the upcoming international conference to take place in Bolivia, entitled The Beginning of the Era of Harmony and Becoming One with Nature, appears quite à propos.

Pavel Sulandziga

In the last few years, Bolivia has become one of the main actors in the movement to defend Mother Earth, which in spirit is very close to what indigenous people worldwide believe in… becoming one with nature, being part of the environment. The meetings in Bolivia that President Evo Morales initiated are of great importance because, in the long run, the economics of our globalised world plays a dominant role. However, it shouldn’t be that way. Besides economics, there’s much else related to the life and activity of people. Of course, economics isn’t the only criterion; people value other values as well.

Pavel Vasliyevich, you were invited to the conference in Bolivia, but you accepted another invitation and chose to attend a different event. Please, tell us about that.

Pavel Sulandziga

Yes, we’re talking about the annual meeting of the Sioux tribe chiefs, which is one of the largest Native American tribes in the USA. Our association of indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East have sought contact with them for a long time in order to work together. Now, for the first time ever, they’ve invited an outsider to their Chief’s Council, which takes place on 21-22 December.

Will you speak at that Council?

Pavel Sulandziga

Yes, I plan to speak on two themes. Firstly, I plan to touch upon establishing cooperation and joint action between us. I’m currently the chairman of the working group on the international cooperation between the indigenous peoples of Russia and other countries in the RF Public Chamber. Our group works with a number of areas related with the development of indigenous peoples. This includes education, youth culture, self-government, cultural development, and other matters. That’s why I’d like to raise these issues in a joint discussion. Secondly, I’ll talk about the Evenk people, for the Sioux Chiefs’ Council voiced its support for them. This, by the way, was one of the reasons for my invitation. The problem is that Evenk lands attracted the attention of high-ranking officials and legal structures, which decided to grab them…

I’m currently working on the visit to Russia of a number of Native American chiefs from the USA and Canada, as well as the leaders of indigenous people from other countries. Willie Littlechild, the Honorary Chief of the Crees from Alberta in Canada, Aali Kirskitaua, vice president of the Sámi parliament, and Henry Harrison, chief of the Thabas tribe from Alaska, have already confirmed their participation. They’ll come to Russia in mid-January, for a meeting of indigenous peoples for a joint discussion of problems and cooperation. We’re planning a press conference in Moscow, and, then, we’ll go to Lake Baikal.

Addendum on Pe’ Sla:

Born from her core, I know she beats for all that is.

This is where we’re from,

Where we pray,

Where our stories were told back in the day.

My soles stained red as I walk the road around her,

Pointing to the stars and all that surrounds,

This land beats with the power of ten thousand drums.

In my heart of hearts I know this is love I’ve found.

So hear me now —-

You will not destroy her.

No roads will pass,

Nor foundations laid,

Not as long as we’re here…

We will not be swayed.

Pe’ Sla is the heartland of the Oceti Sakowin (Great Sioux Nation). This land is a part of our creation story; we believe that this land is the centre, the heart, of everything that is.

Mitakuye Oyasin

Aho Mitakuye Oyasin….All my relations. I honour you in this circle of life with me today. I am grateful for this opportunity to acknowledge you in this prayer….

To the Creator, for the ultimate gift of life, I thank you.

To the mineral nation that has built and maintained my bones and all foundations of life experience, I thank you.

To the plant nation that sustains my organs and body and gives me healing herbs for sickness, I thank you.

To the animal nation that feeds me from your own flesh and offers your loyal companionship in this walk of life, I thank you.

To the human nation that shares my path as a soul upon the sacred wheel of Earthly life, I thank you.

To the Spirit nation that guides me invisibly through the ups and downs of life and for carrying the torch of light through the Ages, I thank you.

To the Four Winds of Change and Growth, I thank you.

You are all my relations, my relatives, without whom I would not live. We are in the circle of life together, co-existing, co-dependent, co-creating our destiny. One, not more important than the other. One nation evolving from the other and yet each dependent upon the one above and the one below. All of us a part of the Great Mystery.

Thank you for this Life.
