In this screwball farce, director Max Utesov received an assignment from Victor Pavlovich, head of a stolen film ring, to deliver to his plant stolen prints of the films nominated for best movie of Russia. Max fails to get them, and, now, to cover it up he’ll have to reshoot Адмирала (Admiral), Черную молнию (Black Lightning), and other movies.
