American financier and billionaire George Soros said that the fate of the Ukraine would determine that of the EU, so the EU should support Poroshenko in his fight against Russia. The shape of the EU in five years will hang upon events in the next few months, and those would depend on developments in the Ukraine. Soros told the German newspaper Die Welt, “Vladimir Putin’s Russia is the aggressor (sic); the Ukraine protects the values and principles that undergird the EU”. Soros thinks that the EU treats the Ukraine as another Greece, but this policy is wrong, it’d lead to disastrous results, saying, “Putin wants to foment a financial and political collapse to destabilise the Ukraine”. Soros believed that if the Ukraine collapses, a probable scenario is the EU would have to handle an overwhelming number of refugees… he estimated that there’d be about two million. Besides that, the EU would have to drop its sanctions against Russia, but that’d mean the end of the EU as a global political player. To avoid such a sad end, he said that the EU must do everything possible to support the Ukraine…”up to a direct military confrontation with Russia”. Soros thinks that Europe shouldn’t be afraid of a new Cold War, saying, “Russia will lose, just as the USSR did in the past”.

Soros is smokin’ some good weed… I want some of it, too! However, he’s right in one regard… the EU would survive, but maybe not as a pro-US bloc. If that happened, look for the UK to leave the EU (maybe, there’d be a free trade zone amongst the Anglosphere countries). If the UK were to leave the EU, Ireland would stay in… if for no other reason, to spit at the Brits. Would the Troubles start up again, with Russian/EU support? We’d have Orwell’s Eurasia and Oceania. Eurasia was the USSR AND Continental Europe. Oceania was the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia/New Zealand, and South Africa. These are “natural” blocs, not Cold War agglomerations. Was Orwell a prophet… we’ll have to see, no?

The mainstream pro-imperialist left and the demagogic racist alt-right are effectively playing off each other. The alt-right screams hatred for Muslims, describing the actions of Saudi Arabia and al-Qaeda. The left screams, “You’re not allowed to say that! Racist!” and supports the “Syrian Revolution” and other CIA régime-change operations. No one points up that the USA props up Saudi Arabia, funding and arming Wahhabi groups, whilst targeting independent states like Syria, Iran, and Libya. Yes, there is backwardness in the Middle East, but the west has maintained it and targeted the forces of modernism and independence. The Alt-Right and the Soros Pro-Imperialist Cultural Left are like a duet, with both sides singing their chorus of lies, drowning out the truth. One side wants covert funding of Wahhabi extremists in the name of human rights and pushes “understanding” of disgusting autocratic US-aligned régimes like Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The other side wants violent attacks on Islamic countries, repression of immigrants, and support for Israel. I want neither. I want people in the Middle East to have the freedom to develop their own countries without foreign meddling. Self-determination.
