13 April 2017. Remember the Departed Servant of God Vladimir… Вечная ему память

I can’t say that I agreed overly much with Vladimir… he’d spent much of his life in the Belly of the Beast in the District and was a member of Potapov’s “party”. Yet, he was a man of good character, honour, and probity… unlike many in the District, he remained mostly clear of “Inside-the-Beltway-itis”.  You don’t have to agree with someone to pray for them (and our disagreements weren’t on basic matters… they were on political and historical questions). Indeed, it’s our Christian duty to pray for the sick, the poorly-off, those in harm’s way, and the dead. OUR DUTY. We’re Christians; that’s what we do.

I bow before Vladimir’s memory and give my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. His fortieth day is on 21 May 2017 (a Sunday). Have your priest say Pannikhida for him and commemorate him at the Proskomidi.

3 June 2015. This Says It All Why I’m Ambivalent About Joe Biden’s Grief

00 Little Girl in the DNR. 11.03.15

I’ll feel bad for Joe Biden having lost his son as soon as Biden expresses sympathy and remorse for the thousands of grieving mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters of Donbass. Not to mention the millions in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, and everywhere else he and his degenerate President buddy have bombed and fomented wars. Harsh? Maybe… or maybe not nearly harsh enough for what Biden deserves.

Eric Draitser

I need add nothing. Joe Biden soaked his hands in the blood of innocents at his own free will and volition. I truly feel for his personal grief. However, he has never shown any compassion for anyone else. That’s all that I’m going to say at present, as custom ties my hands. Yes, I SHALL say more in the near future.

31 May 2015. The CHRISTIAN Response to a Death in the Family of a Politically-Reprehensible Man

00 eternal memory. 31.05.15

I despise Joe Biden’s politics. The details aren’t important. What IS important is that as a father, as a human being, he has to close the eyes of his son in death. All decent people know that all criticism ceases until three days after the burial. That’s what my parents taught me… I believe that our parents taught most of us, of whatever faith (or no religion at all), the very same. You bow before the mystery of death… you honour another’s grief, no matter who they are or what you think of them.

Mr Biden, I bow before you and offer you my sincere condolences. Eternal be his memory…
