Putin Sez Re-Educating Youth Is Answer to Russia’s Moral Crisis

On Wednesday, in his state-of-the-nation address in Moscow, President Vladimir Putin said that Russian society lacks the “spiritual braces” to hold it together, and that we should look to education and “traditional values” to change that situation, saying, “It pains me to speak of this… but Russian society today lacks spiritual braces… kindness, sympathy, compassion towards one another, support, and mutual assistance; it lacks those qualities that always made us stronger throughout our long history”.

Putin went on to say that whilst government interference in people’s convictions and views smacks of “totalitarianism” and is “absolutely unacceptable”, the state should focus on strengthening society’s “spiritual-moral foundation” through education and youth policy. He instructed the government to prepare a supplementary educational programme focusing on “vospitanie”… a Russian cultural concept that refers to preparing young people for adulthood, usually through moral upbringing and conferring rules of etiquette, values, and traditions. Putin pointed up that schools are losing out, in terms of impact on young people, to the internet and electronic media, and that we should restore the “unconditional value” of the schools by updating their curricula and by offering a wide range of electives, accessible to all children, regardless of family income.

He also stressed the importance of teaching history and Russian language and emphasised the need to strengthen national identity, in part through connecting “historical epochs into a single whole”. In that vein, Putin proposed creating a memorial to the heroes of World War I and restoring famous tsarist-era military units, including the Preobrazhensky and Semyonovsky regiments, founded by Pyotr Veliki. Whilst Putin didn’t explicitly refer to religion during the live broadcast on state television, the camera panned to a group of clerics as he spoke of support for “traditional values”. Without elaborating, Putin said, “We must wholly support institutions that are the bearers of traditional values and have historically proven their ability to transmit them from generation to generation”. He also praised grassroots charity activism, which is on the rise in Russia, and promised a separate meeting with volunteers in the unspecified near future.

There are four towering figures in the history of the Russian state… Ivan Grozny, Pyotr Veliki, Vladimir Lenin, and Vladimir Putin. Ivan founded the modern Russian state as we know it. Pyotr set out Russia as a member of the Great Powers. Lenin launched Russia on a course of being at the forefront of the modern world. VVP… even though he’s still in power, he has earned his place in history as the Great Preserver. Gorbachyov was the Great Destroyer… he ripped apart the Soviet state, making the present world of American-fomented permanent warfare possible.

VVP is taking the good from all epochs of Russian history… including the Soviet Union. No future history or ideology in Russia will be able to deny the great achievements and glories of the Soviet state. Indeed, to try to destroy the Soviet legacy is insane… much good came from it, and the present radical rightwing deviation in world history is ending. The grasping oligarchs want MORE… and they don’t care if they crush the rest of us under to do so. It’s most advanced in the USA… since 1981, the country’s been on a radical libertarian course that led directly to the 2007 Great Meltdown.

VVP, on the other hand, is weaving together a New Russian/Eurasian synthesis that’ll replace the present oligarch system in due course. Whatever his personal fate, he has his place in history. He saved Russia from cultural subservience to the USA and the West, and that’s a good thing in itself. Any man who’s remained at the helm of a major power for twelve years is no lightweight, no matter what you might think of him.

The New Synthesis is becoming clearer… a Russia that is:

• Socialist
• Religious
• National-minded

We are on the verge of a New Soviet Union… but it won’t be called that. However, it WILL oppose the greed of Godless America. Yes… America’s godless… it doesn’t follow the Christianity of the Ages, all too many follow a made-up phony pseudo-religion of a tribal deity called Jayzuss who anoints America as the leading country of the world and who hands out “prosperity blessings” (I kid you not, the Evangelicals truly believe such mind-numbing treacly rot).

Reflect on this, some Orthodox here want to ally us with god-denying Evangelicals… that means that America is a hotbed of Sergianism… sucking up to the powers-that-be for personal advancement. I could name them, but I think that you know them. A Russian monk in exile once said, “What started in Russia will finish in America”. That is, godlessness will reach its apogee in the USA… after seeing the antics of Franklin Graham, Grover Norquist, Willard Romney, George W Bush, and the Tea Party, one can see that the good monk was correct. Remember, most Russian communists are believing Orthodox Christians… most American crapitalists are unbelievers (notice their actions, not their words). Do ponder that.

Nutters in 18 States Filed Petitions to Secede From the USA

One day after the presidential election, a Louisiana resident filed a petition requesting that Louisiana be allowed to secede from the USA to “create [their] own new government”. Now, petitioners in 18 states have made similar requests. Experts say these petitions are “a physical symbol of the deep resentment for the direction in which the USA is moving under the Obama administration”. The Louisiana petition created on 7 November has obtained more than 12,000 on-line signatures already.

On 9 November, “Micah H” from Arlington TX filed a petition at the White House “We the People” site requesting the same for Texas, “in order to protect the standard of living Texans now enjoy”. Over 15,000 Texas residents have signed the petition. On 10 November, “Kristopher W” of Tillamook OR opened a petition saying, “The people of Oregon would like a chance to vote on leaving the Union immediately”. He explained, “The Federal Government imposed policies on Oregon that aren’t in Oregon’s best interests”. The petition garnered fewer than 3,000 on-line signatures. Other petitions were filed from 13 states. Now, each petition has 30 days to reach a threshold of 25,000 signatures in order for the Obama administration to consider their request.

Truly, you can’t make such shit up! The righties have gone ‘round the bend. It’s clear that the Republican Party is headed for a smack-up that’ll leave it in two or three pieces. One part is definitely going to be the Born Again/Mormon/Pentecostalist nutters… they’ll rule the American South and parts of the Mountain West, and they’re going to do their best to resurrect Jim Crow and to reimpose a joyless neo-Puritanism on the area. Another part will be the Grover Norquist teabag loons… “NO NEW TAXES” (especially for the Affluent Effluent… “Only the little people pay taxes“). There may also be a third part, of more moderate sorts (probably, found more in the Northeast, Pacific Rim, and Upper Midwest). In short, 2012 was a realigning election, and the Democrats are in the driver’s seat for the next generation.

Orthodox people here in the USA should be aware that the konvertsy loons who make up Fathausen’s claque are also political nutters who agree with such secessionist rubbish. However, they’re not long for us, so, don’t get too hot n’ bothered about it, simply oppose these zipperheads wherever you find them. They’ll be gone soon enough, I’ll warrant, when they find out that they can’t hijack the Church.

Obama’s Economic Policy: The Rich Should Pay Too

There’ll be no more tax cuts for wealthy Americans… President Barack Obama signalled that after his re-election, he sees this as the best way to prevent a “budget catastrophe”. Delivering his first speech after re-election, Mr Obama outlined his economic strategy for the years to come. A budget deficit could cause the catastrophe Mr Obama was talking about. A “fiscal cliff”, which is likely to happen in January of 2013, could plunge the American economy back into recession. Spending cuts were approved as part of a strategy to avoid budget deficit. Mr Obama cited experts to say that by September of 2013 the budget deficit will decrease by 503 billion USD (15.9 trillion Roubles. 400 billion Euros. 320 billion UK Pounds). However, the USA would have to pay a high price for this… mass unemployment and a 0.5 percent decline in American economic growth. It means that rich Americans won’t avoid higher taxes. Mr Obama emphasised that he’d veto any bill suggesting more tax benefits to those earning more than 250,000 USD (7.9 million Roubles. 197,000 Euros. 157,000 UK Pounds) a year.

Some analysts believe that Obama overdramatized on purpose, trying to provoke a reaction from the Republicans who control the House of Representatives. Konstantin Sonin, Pro-rector at the Russian School of Economics {a pro-oligarch mouthpiece: editor}, said, “Obama’s just bargaining, since the sides have different approaches to the issue. To avoid a serious conflict they should achieve a kind of a compromise”. Yakov Mirkin, expert at the Russian Institute of Global Economy, said, “Evidently, there’ll be no budget catastrophe. Republicans and Democrats will definitely agree on raising the debt ceiling. Both parties focused on reducing budget deficit, although they offer different approaches to the issue. If Romney had won the election, there’d have been a decline in taxes with numerous benefits offered by the American tax code removed. I mean tax loans related to education, and the money spent on healthcare and insurance policies, as well as small businesses”.

Obama offers a different approach… the affluent, which comprise some 2 percent of the American population, should pay more taxes, whilst the rest, some 98 percent, could enjoy lower taxes. The Senate has already approved a bill, and the president is ready to sign it at any moment. To reduce negative consequences, Mr Obama is ready to look for a compromise with Republicans. In any case, he won`t be able to avoid debates on the economy with the House of Representatives. Generally, Russian experts think that Obama’s re-election is a good sign for the US economy, since he’s already a proven and successful leader in terms of handling the financial crisis. Despite strong opposition from the Congress, he managed to attract huge investments into the American economy, which resulted in moderate economic growth. If Mr Obama sticks to this policy, it’d only do good to both domestic and global markets.

That is why white women rejected the Grand Olde Phony candidate. They saw their families hurt by Republican cudgelling of ordinary folks to aid the grasping Affluent Effluent, they saw their kids coming home in body-bags or maimed from the wars, and the Republicans’ unfeigned racism disgusted them (the “legitimate rape” comments weren’t so influential… all women know that the Grand Olde Perverts are like that). The Republicans needed to win big with white women, but their greedy and cruel platform ensured a massive gender gap in white voters (mainly, they lost white women whilst winning white men). Yet, its telling defeat didn’t lead the Republican Party to reject any of these rancid points. It’s poised to break into two, if not three, blocs, which would cement Democratic power for the next generation. The Republican Party is paying dearly for such heeding greedster RINOs as Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Grover Norquist, and Paul Ryan… it’s rejected its true legacy from Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Ike, Rocky, Jake Javits, Nixon, and Gerald Ford. As it’s done that, it deserves to die… the sooner, the better. They’re just shills for the rich and whores for the military-industrial complex… do remember what Ike said of that.

The Republican Party turned its back on its past with Slobberin’ Ronnie Reagan, with his shameless whoring for the Affluent Effluent and his mindless juvenile hatred of “big government”. No society of 300 million can be run as though it were a rural Ozark backwater. In 2012, the Republican Party shot itself in the head with full malice aforethought. US Representative Dana Rohrbacher: “The Iraq war was a mistake”

Here’s what Iraq brought us… the Tea Party wants MORE of this… don’t forget to vote in November…

Two GOP congressmen say most Republicans on the Hill now believe the Iraq war was a mistake, and “more than half the Republican caucus” believes the way in which the US entered the Afghanistan war was also a mistake. Reps Tom McClintock (R-CA) and Dana Rohrbacher (R-CA) made the comments at a discussion panel at the Cato Institute on Thursday. Going into Iraq “was a mistake because I thought we had to finish the job in Afghanistan”, Rohrbacher told the panel, echoing a popular Democratic talking point at the time. “In retrospect, almost all of us think that was a horrible mistake”, Rohrbacher said. “Now that we know that it cost a trillion dollars, and all of these years, and all of these lives, and all of this blood… all I can say is everyone I know thinks it was a mistake to go in now”. When asked by panel moderator Grover Norquist what percentage of Republican congressmen agree with that view, McClintock said, “I think everyone [in Congress] would agree that Iraq was a mistake”.

Let’s keep this short and sweet. If the above is so, the American media isn’t reporting it. It DOES tell you all about the Tea Party, giving it all kinds of free airtime and attention. However, many sources believe that teabaggers are only 15 percent of the electorate. Yes… that’s enough to swing an election (especially in states with overly-large percentages of Mormons and Sectarians). You’ve all heard of Joe Miller from Alaska… well, one of the reasons that the Tea Party resonated in parts of Alaska society, enough to elect this posturing fanatic, is that Alaska has an over-representation of Mormons. In the general US population, 2 percent are Mormons; in Alaska, the figure is 4 percent. Mormons tend to be fanatic teabaggers… their “church” is well heeled, and present election law allows contributions to political candidates to be secret and candidates have no obligation to report expenses or donations to any agency. There’s Miller’s margin… a factor that doesn’t exist in most areas. It also wasn’t reported in the media. In short, the media ignores much of what goes on (there’s no “conspiracy”, it’s just a case of like-minded people with similar blind spots)… and what they don’t tell you is just as important to you as what they do tell you.
