A peaceful and happy world for all our kids… not just American Anglo Upper Middles! End the wars… end the state-sponsored terrorism… end the funding of religious fanaticism and insurrection… then, our kids could sleep soundly at night. We can extend our hand in peace or draw back the club to strike. Do reflect on the fact that the American Establishment, both Republican and Democratic, chose the latter, and their drooling devotees (both HillyBillys and Trump Chumps) see nothing wrong in that. I call that evil.

Peace for ALL our children… that’s what I work and pray for…

People taking part in the Ninth “Childhood City” carnival in central Krasnoyarsk on 1 June 2014. Thousands of children, their relatives, and teachers took part in the procession to demonstrate suits, styles, dances, and folklore of different regions of the world on International Children’s Day.

In Moscow, the KPRF organised fun for kids from orphanages, children from poor families, and disabled kids. Y’know, those Reds gave the kids… CANDY (I hope that they gave out “Birds’ Milk”… that’s GOOD EATS)! I’d be glad to stand with such decent folks any day of the week. Call me a “commie”… that’s OK… it means that I give a shit and that I “wanna” do good.

This is an old-school Red holiday that refused to die out. Good on the folks who kept such sweet (literally) Sov traditions alive.

Today was International Children’s Day in the old USSR… it’s still celebrated in all the successor states, the old East bloc, and the old Sov allied states. The people of the old DDR keep it alive, too… even though the CDU rightwingers do their best to discourage and ban the holiday. With each passing year, ordinary people realise what they lost… the USSR wasn’t perfect… but it didn’t have rublevtsy (oligarchs), and things were shared more equally. Things such as the survival of International Children’s Day are going to help bring about a new USSR (under a new name… not as an atheist state… but it WILL be the old Union). May that day come soon.
