Dear WordPress Team,
I am writing on behalf of Web Analysis Team of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) which has been designated for taking appropriate measures for regulating Internet Content in line with the prevailing laws of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In lieu of above it is highlighted that few of the webpages hosted on your platform are extremely Blasphemous and are hurting the sentiments of many Muslims around Pakistan. The URL’s mentioned are clearly in violation of Section 37 of Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 and Section 19 of Constitution of Pakistan.

Here is the full post that Pakistan supposedly complained of. Nothing in this post references Muslims. NOTHING. I never even mentioned Muslims in this post, so how could this be “blasphemy?” Indeed, I’ve been supportive of Muslims in general, as anti-Islamic hysteria is against my faith as an Orthodox Christian. Look at the following images that I’ve posted on the referenced blogsite:

Nothing that I’ve ever posted has been anti-Muslim. Indeed, I stand against anti-Islamic bigotry and agitation. I’d advise WordPress to investigate this. Nothing in the referenced post attacked or even mentioned Islam. It DID criticise American aggression in Afghanistan. Therefore, this could be a scam or a badly-disguised effort by the US government to silence critics.
WordPress! Shame on you. You cravenly went along with something without investigating it. I have nothing but contempt for such pusillanimous behaviour. I could understand it if I were Breitbart or The Daily Stormer. Note well that this occurred after I attacked The Daily Stormer and Maxine Waters. I can only shake my head in amazement. An American enterprise folds in the face of a groundless complaint…
