Priest Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges

On Tuesday, an Albany OR man who was a priest with a Lewisburg OR Orthodox church received a nearly-11-year prison sentence as part of a plea deal for child pornography charges. Stanley Brittain, 39, pleaded guilty in Linn County Circuit Court to four counts of first-degree encouraging child sex abuse during Tuesday’s hearing. Prosecutor Michael Wynhausen said Brittain trafficked online in child pornography, and had hundreds of images and movies, some with victims of abuse who were babies or toddlers. An investigation of an Oklahoma child pornography suspect led authorities to Brittain, arrested by Albany OR police in April.

Wynhausen spent minutes giving graphic details about some of the child pornography, saying, “This is just a fraction of the images”. However, Wynhausen also acknowledged that Brittain told police about several individuals throughout the country who also dealt in child porn, saying, “There were arrests made as a result of his information”, including five in Oregon. Defence attorney Arnold Poole said that police arrested at least two suspects in Linn County. Poole added that Brittain was trading child porn as a way to get more methamphetamine and feed his addiction to the drug.

Poole said that during Brittain’s time in jail, and as the methamphetamine flushed out of his system, “He became more and more appalled at the evil he was supporting”. Brittain told the court, “I’m as disgusted as anyone. Sickened, even. I’m very, very sorry”. The court also found Brittain, who must register as a sex offender, in violation of his probation for a driving under the influence of intoxicants conviction. According to the terms of his sentence, he could get a 20 percent reduction in his prison time for good behaviour. Brittain, also known as Fr Isidore, was an unpaid staff member at St Anne Orthodox Church, near Corvallis OR, and loosely affiliated with that facility, according to Albany OR police. At the time of Brittain’s arrest, police said there was no evidence he was grooming potential victims from the congregation.

Rumour had it that Brittain was the reputed homosexual lover of Nikolai Soraich… that’s what out there, believe it or not, as you will. Brittain’s drug use was well-known, but legal strictures kept all responsible sources (such as yours truly) silent on the matter (a lawyer told me that it was a steaming cow pat best avoided, and I believed her). That means that the Syosset apparat was well aware of his drug problem, but kept quiet (do note how the same First Family shits defended Bobby K for years). You can see why the Centre doesn’t want to touch this radioactive Piece O’ Shit. Don’t forget… Paffso was a pal to this perv… he was a pal to the convicted perv Storheim… he was a pal to the perv Podmoshensky. I see a pattern… a rather nasty and vicious one. Report Finds Porn Sites Account for XXX-tra Real Estate on Web… They Make Up 30 Percent of All Internet Traffic

One site, XVideos, gets 4.4 billion page views per month, making it twice the size of Reddit

XXX marks the spot on the Internet. Researchers found that a whopping 30 percent of all Internet traffic involves pornographic sites, with the biggest one notching three times the page views of CNN or ESPN, ExtremeTech reported. according to Google’s DoubleClick Ad Planner, that site, Xvideos, notches 4.4 billion page views per month, also making it twice the size of social media giant Reddit. However, porn sites aren’t just attractive to Internet users; they also boast (ahem) staying power. The typical news site has an average visit of between three and six minutes, according to Extreme Tech’s report. Meanwhile, the average time spent on a porn site, is somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes. Considering these sites deal largely with videos, even if they are low resolution videos… hey, production values aren’t the main draw… they host a vast amount of data. Reps for YouPorn, the second biggest sex site, told Extreme Tech that the site enjoys 100 million page views a day and transfers 950 terabytes daily. The bandwidth required to run all of those videos on YouPorn is roughly six times larger than Hulu. Based on those numbers, the report estimated that YouPorn accounts for 2 percent of Internet traffic and using that number, ExtremeTech calculates a conservative figure of 30 percent for all the pornography-related traffic on the Internet.

I find this hard to believe, as porno isn’t a “general” phenomenon… it’s a largely male-specific… ahem… movement. No… I’m not going to lambaste those who access porno… nor am I going to lament how society’s going to hell in a handbasket. If 30 percent of all Internet traffic were hard-core X-rated stuff, it’d mean that men spend about half of their time online viewing porno. I’m no cloistered nun, nor am I a depraved libertine… but there’s something about the 30 percent figure that just doesn’t smell “right”. I’d believe it if someone were to find that men spent 25 percent of their time online in “dirty book sites”… but to imply that men spend the majority of their time online in such sites is just… well… unbelievable. It sounds like a hard-core feminist fairy tale, to be frank. In any case, I think that smoking out and punishing sexual abusers is more important than chasing pornographers is… especially, if they wear riassas.

Is there a lot of porno out there? Sure… and not all of it’s online (including some rather vicious stuff). Just think, Pee Wee Herman was ahead of his time… perspirin’ minds wanna know… is Pee Wee still playin’ with his wee-wee? We’ll never know…
