You Believe Russiagate and Chilly Hilly? WHY?

After loudly denying rigging their primaries for two years, the leaders of the Democratic Party now openly admit to deliberately stacking primary elections to ensure the win of preselected establishment loyalists. In response to an audio recording of House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer telling a progressive congressional candidate that he’d run in a contest rigged for his opponent by the DCCC if he doesn’t drop out, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi came right out and told the press:

I don’t see anything inappropriate in what Mr Hoyer was engaged in… a conversation about the realities of life in the race as to who can make the general election.

I mean, wow. She just came right out and said it. All it took was a little audio recording to transform months and months of “But Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia!” into “Yeah, of course, we do that. Duh”.

Was Russiagate produced by the primary leaders of the US intelligence community? If so, it’s the most perilous political scandal in modern American history and the most detrimental to American democracy.

Note well that the generation of American “liberals” who protested the Vietnam War are now slobbering over every “disclosure” that comes out of the intel apparat. They eat it all up… they demand that all the rest of us follow suit or be damned as traitors. This leads to interesting questions:

• Was their opposition to the Vietnam War sincere or was it cowardice?
• Why are they all following slavishly the most amoral and opportunistic politician in the USA today (Hillary Clinton)?
• Why do they swallow CIA lies without any scepticism?
• If interference in foreign elections is culpable, where is their outrage at the far more numerous American examples of it?
• If election hacking is evil, where is their wrath for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC?

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the answers.

If liberals exerted a fraction of the effort into resisting capitalism’s dictatorship of money’s perpetual exploitation of the labouring class as they do frothing umbrage about plots perpetrated by nefarious phantom Russians and waxing hysterical yarns involving scary-pants Vladimir, bare-chested, riding a ferocious bear, as he leads legions of occult-risen Red Army ghosts into North America to seize the Western world’s supply of arugula and capture and sell Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper as sex slaves to transsexual neo-Cossack raiders… then, liberals might garner a modicum of respect outside of their bubble of classism, self-admiration, and reality-anorexic fantasies.
