Elder Schema-Archimandrite Iona Ignatenko of Odessa is one of the most famous elders of our time. He made the following prophecy:

There will be three Easters after my death. The first shall be bloody, the second shall be hungry, and the third will be victorious.

Elder Iona died on 18 December 2012… the “bloody Easter” was 2014… the “hungry Easter” was 2015… shall we have a “victorious Easter” in 2016? We’ll have to see, won’t we? Easter 2014 saw the perfidious Ukrofascist invasion of peaceful Novorossiya, with its terror bombardments of civilian neighbourhoods and brutal enormities of the junta militants. Easter 2015 saw the blockade of the LNR and DNR (with starvation averted by Russian convoys along a new Road of Life)… it also saw empty shop shelves in Kiev, with the power flickering on and off, and pay in arrears (if one was lucky enough to still have a job). Shall Easter 2016 see the Red Banner and the Tricolour flying over the battlements of Kiev? Shall the Mother of All Russian Cities be free of fascist and Uniate oppression? If we were to attend to Elder Iona…
