18 June 2014. More Cabinet Input on Fatso

00 a whisper in the loggia. 08.12

______________________________

I’m getting more Cabinet comments on Fatso. One whisper in the loggia went like this:

What I know about JP is this… a family member spoke to a parishioner at St Nick’s Sobor in DC and they said that the OCA released JP to the ROCOR, and he’s serving at St Johns Sobor in the District, BUT he’s still living in the house to next to St Nick’s. Someone on the Metropolitan Council is paying the tab.

I also received this:

JP’s still telling people that he’s released to the ROCOR… he just can’t help himself. He’s also serving and lecturing at St John the Baptist (ROCOR). The Monomoron crowd is very quiet about the picture showing him serving with Peterson and Brittain.

Both of these reports contain truth. No, I don’t think that JP has a release… but the people in DC think that he has. After all, JP is a VERY convincing liar… he did manage to hang on to power in the OCA longer than most of us dreamed possible. Of course, part of it is his demented little claque, who remain as loyal as ever to their wayward shepherd. He hasn’t moved (I’ve got that from three disparate sources) and he’s still drawing a OCA stipend. A OCA priest confirmed for me that the OCA Holy Synod hasn’t acted… JP demands that he continue to receive his OCA stipend in perpetuity after he switches and the OCA Holy Synod won’t buy that (one source said that JP threatened legal action to keep his stipend even after his transfer).

At the Centre, when the Holy Synod acts, the Journals (Decisions) go up that very day on patriarchia.ru… that’s so situations like this one don’t occur. It’s time to shit or get off the pot. If Paffso wants to go… let him go. However, there are two caveats. Firstly, he must forego his OCA stipend as he’d no longer be a hierarch of the OCA (besides which, he’s badmouthed the OCA Holy Synod… they shouldn’t subsidise a layabout malcontent). Secondly, and more importantly, this has to have the Centre’s blessing… AND IT DOESN’T. HH (or someone close to him) is putting up a roadblock to this… why, I don’t know (neither does anyone else). I’d hazard a guess and say that it’s Mark Golovkov, HH’s “shadow foreign minister”, and the man in charge of MP foreign establishments (which WOULD include the ROCOR). However, I don’t know that for certain… no one does, frankly. Yet, it’s obvious that this shindig won’t happen without Peredelkino’s OK, and that hasn’t come. Sit tight…

30 September 2012. Jillion’s Account on oca.org of Metropolitan Council Meeting Chock Fulla Shit

______________________________

Got this from a Cabinet member:

There was a lot of tension and arguing about JP and the budget, amongst other things. Dr Dimitri Solodow, who’s a crony of Vinnie Peterson, had an argument with Jillions and quit. Valerie Ringa and Michael Dahulich argued over tithing. Buzz is that the Diocese of the West wants to keep Vinnie as Bishop, but will back Tikhon Mollard for the white hat, because he’s seen as weak and would be Vinnie’s puppet. St Vlad’s now backing Golitzin, as is Lyonyo. Moriak’s in limbo until after Parma Sobor.

In short, Tosi’s sweetness and light posted on oca.org was a mendacious malodorous pile of shit… as per usual. There are three serious contenders for real power, two of whom are downright evil and nasty:

  • Vinnie Peterson… anyone who’d vote for this slinking two-faced HOOMie enabler is a boob. Herman was right… this jabronie deserved le sabot.
  • Michael Dahulich… a two-faced student of the Jesuits… perhaps, the most dangerous of the lot. He’d betray us to the Greeks and papists. He’s creepy to talk to; he doesn’t look at one, and it’s obvious that he isn’t listening to you.
  • Mel Pleska… he ain’t perfect, but he ain’t Vinnie or Mike. He’s the only member of the Holy Synod with REAL monastic formation.

Peterson’s a convert and Dahulich’s a “foreigner”… Gollitzyn’s green as grass and Tikhon Mollard’s a weak sister who’d capitulate to whoever was last in his presence. Maymon and Moriak are jokes, Nikon Liolin’s too sick, and JP is spoilt goods.

Lovely, ain’t it? One can see why Mark Stokoe doesn’t want to chronicle this. I don’t much care for it either, but such is one’s duty. In short, the MC meeting was a fiasco. By the way, the single blurb on oca.org was unprofessional and not timely. You do it the way the Centre does it… you release the news on the day that it’s made. The Centre ain’t perfect by a long shot (there are the Kapalin brothers, after all), but communications is one of the things that they do well.

Tithing is a no-go, incidentally. It sets up a two-tier membership that’s utterly at odds with what Christ’s Real Church is all about. Let’s keep it in the hands of the slobberin’ Evangelical Me n’ Jayzuss phonies, where it belongs. It would bring nothing but BAD to the Church, in all caps and underlined. It’d be prelest marching into the sanctuary in Size 12s, looking for trouble and finding it.

Pass the jug… l’condition humaine hasn’t changed. I, for one, will be glad when the slo-mo seppuku of the OCA’s finally over. I won’t be alone.

Big Pow-Wow in Syosset… NO News on oca.org

______________________________

One of the Cabinet told me:

There’ll be a meeting of the Metropolitan Council this week in Syosset. Supposedly, Nathaniel Popp’s “too busy” to attend. However, Dahulich and other bishops will be there. Fireworks are expected at the conclave, but the buzz isn’t clear about what. I’m told that there’s going to be one surprise resignation and they’re going to place Moriak on indefinite hold. In other news, St Sergius day liturgy tomorrow at OCA chancery for their patronal feast and Mahaffey was made a monk yesterday at St Tikhons in PA.

So, Nathaniel, the locum tenens is “too busy” and there’s a “surprise resignation” in the works. Well, well, well… it looks like Lyonyo’s been a busy little beaver. This means that the First Family/Metropolitan Council apparat isn’t sure of the upcoming Sobor and wants to nail some things down before it convenes. However, it does mean that people like Lyonyo, Jillions, and Nescott are running scared. I wonder if the “surprise resignation” is Eric Tosi? Eric’s been trying to backstab Lyonyo with Vinny Peterson, after all… perspirin’ minds wanna know.

2 September 2012. A Picture IS Worth a Thousand Words… Bishop Abel of Lublin and Chełm in the USA

______________________________

The above image shows Archbishop Abel Popławski of Lublin and Chełm whilst he was on a visit to the USA. This reminds us that we’re part of a larger Church, one that won’t be affected by the fall of the OCA, that is, we’ll have help in putting things back together and back to rights. It also reminds us that our parishes will all be here after the OCA falls… and that these parishes will go on as they’ve always done. Remember, the Church survived the fall of Nemolovsky in the early ’20s… the Church survived the Church War after ’65… the Church survived the attempt by Fathausen and the clueless konvertsy to take us over… yes, Virginia, the Church will survive the fall of the OCA, too.

Never forget that the strength of the Church is in the parishes, the so-called “national Church” is nothing but a crudely-welded-on superstructure. Indeed, do our parishes need TWENTY bishops (ten active and ten “retired”)? That’s inane and is proof that the inmates are running the asylum (that is, the “national church”). This image is proof that the Church is NOT Syosset, SVS, the Metropolitan Council, or the OCA itself… it’s us… it’s our coreligionists abroad… but it’s not slobbering phonies like John Behr, John Jillions, Lyonyo, Freddie M-G, or Rod Dreher.

We will survive. After all, we did it before, so, we can do it again…
