“National Guard” Fires on Border Guards Attempting to Surrender… Junta Bombs Lugansk… OSCE Confirms Junta Cutoff of Water to the Crimea

On Monday, the local opolchenie HQ told Interfax that opolchenie attempts to negotiate the surrender of a border guard unit in the outskirts of Lugansk met with fierce resistance from ‘National Guard’ (sic) irregulars. He said one opolchenie fighter suffered injuries and they’re checking reports about one fatality. The source stated that junta forces sustained significant losses, saying, “We, and the mothers of the border guard conscripts, went to peacefully negotiate the surrender of border guards based in the Mirny district in southern Lugansk, given that it was specifically pre-arranged with the border guards. However, we came under fire from the ‘National Guard’ (sic) on the border unit’s grounds. The border guards weren’t shooting at us. We killed about 15-20 of them. The ‘National Guard’ (sic) fired mortars at us. “Shells exploded, we were under mortar fire. A mortar shell hit a flat on the seventh floor of a building, people managed to leave the house on time, no one’s hurt. Residents are leaving Mirny and going to stay with relatives in other parts of Lugansk”.

Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR) spokesman Vladimir Inogorodskikh told Interfax that the fighting near the border guard base stopped temporarily, saying, “We have a ten-minute-old piece of information that clashes stopped and talks are under way. We’re holding talks to ensure the release of our Lugansk boys (conscripts) from there. Right from the start, all that we wanted was for our Lugansk people (conscripts) to leave the base, but they [the ‘National Guard’ (sic)] opened fire. About 20 army conscripts voluntarily surrendered and left the base. Border guards allowed an ambulance vehicle into the grounds to remove those injured”.

You needed proof that the “National Guard” was nothing but an undisciplined and unmilitary rabble composed of Euromaidan Uniate trash? Here it is. They fired on people attempting to surrender. Many Uniates believe in a fairy tale called “Consciousness”. Put simply, it blames Russia and Russians for everything and turns the truth inside out and upside down. Ponder this… the filth who joined the “National Guard” (sic) screamed on the Maidan, “Knife the Moskali (Stab the Russians)”. I’d not call that civilised… it’s rather nekulturny, in fact. These fanatics shot at their own. I’d say that isn’t a good omen for the junta. All Langley’s horses and all the media’s men couldn’t put the junta together again.

ITAR-TASS reported that Yelizaveta Glinka, Russian Civic Platform member and head of the Fair Aid foundation said on her return from a humanitarian mission in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) that she reached an agreement with the junta to evacuate wounded from Slavyansk, saying, “People in need of help they can’t receive in Slavyansk are taken to Svyatogorsk and Nikolaevka. Specifically, this is a corridor for the sick and wounded. This is a chance to evacuate them. I hadn’t yet discussed if we could send medications to Slavyansk. The issue’s under negotiation with the [junta] Donetsk Oblast (sic) Health Department. Probably, the Health Department is probably talking to the ‘National Guard’ (sic), as far as I understand”.

Editor:

Do note how the Galician Uniate hillbilly “National Guard” (sic) attempts to bollix up negotiations between patriot Russians and the junta. It looks like they’re afraid that they won’t get the chance to bully innocent people, as they did on the Maidan. These people aren’t soldiers… they’re imposters, a uniformed rabble, and all decent people must treat them as such. Note that the junta had the Russians negotiate with a phoney “Donetsk Oblast” “administration” headed by oligarchs and their minions… it only controls the derisable amount of territory held by junta forces. It has no real existence nor is it a properly organised government.

On Monday, a source at LNR opolchenie HQ told Interfax, “A Ukrainian warplane dropped a bomb on the centre of the city, which blew up close to the building of the former Lugansk Oblast State Administration, which now houses the LNR Administration. There are numerous deaths and injuries among opolchenie and civilians”. Meanwhile, a major fire broke out inside the building; there are ambulances and fire-fighting vehicles nearby. At least five people suffered injuries; some people could still be inside the building.

On Monday, the LNR media office told ITAR-TASS that a junta air strike on the LNR Administration building in Lugansk killed one person and wounded ten more, saying, “As of now, we know that one person is dead and that at least ten suffered injures”. Earlier reports said the bombing destroyed the building’s façade to the left of the front entrance. Opolchenie sources said that civilians could be amongst those wounded.

On Monday, a RIA-Novosti correspondent reported that at least five people died and many more injured in an air strike by the junta aircraft on the LNR Administration building in Lugansk. A massive fire started in the building after the air strike. Smoke rose from fourth-floor windows. Emergency crews are on the scene removing the injured; at least six ambulances are in the area. A patriot leaving the building said, “There are many killed and injured inside”.

On Monday, a LNR spokesman told Interfax, “Our Minister of Health, Natalya Arkhipova, died in the bombing of the administration building by the enemy. Apparently, she was standing at the front entrance speaking to another woman during the air raid”. Pavel Malish, the head of the DNR State Administration Health Department, confirmed there was an explosion inside the headquarters, saying, “The casualties are still being counted, but two people are definitely dead”. Police claimed to have no knowledge of the origin of the blast, but the LNR opolchenie stated that a junta warplane dropped a bomb on the building.

On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID) said in a statement, “On 2 June, the Kiev authorities committed another crime against their own people. A bombing of the former Lugansk Oblast State Administration building by Ukrainian aircraft killed Ukrainian civilians. What happened shows the Kiev authorities’ blatant unwillingness to seek nationwide accord. Once again, Kiev grossly violated the deals agreed in the Geneva statement of 17 April and developed in the OSCE roadmap”.

Russia hasn’t intervened yet for two reasons… firstly, it waited for the European elections on 25 May… those turned out to Russia’s liking. Now, there’s a sizable faction in the European Parliament opposed to intervention in the Ukraine. Secondly, it’s trying to undermine Merkel’s support in Germany… she’s a major pro-American player, one of the few left. Many people to her left (and right, too!) oppose sucking up to the Americans, as do many business interests. I think that V V Putin’s trying to winkle American occupation forces out of Germany after 69 years… and many Germans agree with him. That’s a prize worth the price, isn’t it?

On Monday, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) said in a report that after it carried out inspections in Kherson Oblast in the southeastern Ukraine, it could state that a temporary dam nearly fully blocks the water supply to the Crimea through the North Crimean Canal.

Editor:

Under the Nürnberg rules, that makes all members of the junta war criminals for crimes against humanity. That is, Turchinov, Avakov, Yatsenyuk, and Poroshenko are common criminals. In fact, all of them committed gross criminal actions prior to seizing power; so, this wasn’t a stretch for these vori v zakone (“thieves in law”, the Russian equivalent of “Godfather”). Russia should put them all in Correctional Facility 1313 in the Sakha Republic to bust rocks under the Arctic sun… it shouldn’t hang them, as that’d create “martyrs” for the demented Galician Uniate diaspora. THIS is what the USA and the Catholic Church support. God do help us all…

Minoborony will Help Crimea with Water Situation

The Minoborony will send army construction troops to help the Republic of the Crimea (RK) with its fresh water supply crisis. Within several days, a pipeline battalion of the Western Military District will lay field trunk pipelines to bring fresh water from artesian wells in the south-east of the peninsula. The more than 120 kilometres (75 miles) of pipelines would be able to deliver over 9,000 cubic metres (318,000 cubic feet) of water a day.

Earlier this week, Valery Lukyanchikov, deputy director of the all-Russia Research Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology, told ITAR-TASS, “The Crimea has enough underground drinking water sources and can even solve irrigation problems by storing rain and snow water”. Explored sources of underground drinking water can give over 1 million cubic metres (35.31 million cubic feet) a day, and since the RK previously received water from Ukraine via the North Crimean Canal, many water wells were never used. Now, they’re bringing some of them online. One of the ways to deal with a water shortage in the RK is to supply it from central parts of the peninsula to regions that lack it. Another option is desalinisation. Lukyanchikov just returned from the RK, where he led a working group that sought to study the situation on the ground.

Presidential aide Andrei Belousov said, “Crimea can be independent in terms of water supply, but it’d cost 10-15 billion Roubles (278.8-418.2 million USD. 306.1-459.1 million CAD. 300.9-451.3 million AUD. 201-301.5 million Euros. 165.3-248 million UK Pounds). One solution would be supplying water from the southern Kuban by building a pipeline. However, that’s an exotic option. Another solution would be drilling wells and using the existing water reservoirs”.

The Kiev junta reduced water supplies to the RK and Sevastopol on 26 April, claiming that it owed them a large sum for water {actually, not… it’s really a criminal attempt at extortion, as the junta wants Russia to continue to subsidise it with discounted energy prices: editor}. However, RK Chairman of the Government Sergei Aksyonov said, “The Ukraine’s act of sabotage to limit the supply of water to the republic through the North Crimean Canal is nothing but a deliberate action against Crimeans. Negotiations are underway with the Ukraine at the federal level to resolve this. There are backup plans. In any case, Crimea won’t lack water. As for drinking water, we have no problems with it. We’re negotiating with agricultural producers cut off from water supply from the North Crimean Canal. The rice situation is the worst. Crimea is redrawing the map of crop areas in regions where we might not have irrigation available. Alternative areas are on offer to agricultural producers”.

According to the Ukrainian media, the junta shut down the North Crimean Canal, which carried water from the Dnepr to Crimea. The peninsula got 85 percent of its fresh water from this canal, built in 1961-71.

Editor:

One can see the nastiness and greed of the junta. It screams for energy discounts from Russia to subsidise their Russophobic fantasies, but they cut off water to the Crimea to “teach it a lesson”. Up to this point, Russia has been lenient with the American-controlled filth in the junta. It’s time to get serious. Firstly, all discounts should end… in any case, those were a quid pro quo for the Ukraine allowing the RF to base the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. That’s moot. Besides, why should Russia subsidise its enemies? That’s barmy. Secondly, Russia should turn off the taps if the Ukraine refuses to pay its arrears in full. The Ukrainian junta (and their Uniate amen corner) screams that they believe in untrammelled neoliberalism, in an unfettered Libertarian “Free Market”. Well, they contracted for the gas, they refused to pay for it, and so, Russia should cut off the supply. Now, THAT’S the “Free Market” in action (do note that the junta wouldn’t like that)! If the junta tries to tap the pipeline, Russia has the right to seize the territory upon which it passes… that’s what the USA would do (and on far less pretext… as American history shows)!

The Ukraine had best watch its back… Russia has many options… it’s very close and nearby… the USA is very far away… the junta’s forgotten that.

Junta Terrorists Cut Off Water to the Crimea

00 North Crimea Canal. 26.04.14.

______________________________

On Saturday, UNIAN reported that the Ukraine closed the sluices of the North Crimean Canal, halting water supply from the Dnepr River to the peninsula. Crimea received 85 percent of its fresh water through the canal, built in 1961-71, stretching from the Khakhovka Reservoir to Kerch. Republic of Crimea Chairman of the Government Sergei Aksyonov told the Kryminform, “The Ukraine’s act of sabotage to limit the supply of water to the Republic through the North Crimean Canal is nothing but a deliberate action against Crimeans. Negotiations are underway with the Ukraine at the federal level to resolve this. There are backup plans. In any case, Crimea won’t be out of water. As for drinking water, there are no problems with it”.

“Crimean authorities are negotiating with all agricultural producers who’re cut off from water supply from the North Crimean Canal. The rice situation is the worst. Crimea is redrawing the map of crop areas in regions where irrigation isn’t available. We’re offering alternative areas to agricultural producers. The federal budget is ready to compensate agricultural producers for possible losses. We discussed this issue with Deputy Chairman of the RF Government Dmitri Kozak. We’ve created special provisions for the Crimea. We’ll leave no one helpless. We’re also considering an alternative plan for drilling wells and we’re working on this day and night. Those who’ve seized power in the Ukraine, including former Crimean residents Senchenko and Kunitsin, are acting like enemies trying to cause their former fellow citizens harm. However, the people of the Crimea will give them proper judgement; they’ll always be persona non-grata in the Republic. Usually, those who look for trouble, find it”.

Editor:

This is a direct attack on the civilian population of the Crimea. Note well the USA’s silence. That means that it approves of such! Zbig certainly does… he isn’t the godfather of al-Qaeda for nothing. This shows that Obama’s moral high dudgeon isn’t only spurious… it’s evil. Russia now has full reason to intervene militarily against these terrorist bastards… the sooner, the better.
