Bart has upped the ante. He named two “exarchs” for the Ukraine. Note well that neither is from the Ukraine…. one is from Canada, the other from the USA. That is, both are under the direct control of the CIA. If they don’t do what Langley wants them to do, well, they’ll have an “accident”. HH saw this bet and raised it. The MP has withdrawn from all inter-Church bodies that include the EP. No MP clergy will concelebrate with EP clergy. Communion is still intact, as the EP hasn’t yet declared its interlopers in the Ukraine a proper Church body yet. If that happens, well, all grounded sources agree. It’d cause a schism that wouldn’t heal in our lifetime.

The OCA is a deer in the headlights. It’s utterly discombobulated and shitting itself in fright. SVS and some of the konvertsy favour the EP…. most of the real ethnics favour the MP. Tikhon Mollard is supine and voiceless. I’ve no doubt that both parties are working on him. The EP can’t offer much… but the MP could pull the Tomos if Mollard proved recalcitrant. If that happened, many of the parishes would go under Moscow. However, no one knows what’s going to happen. I don’t know; no one does. No matter what, this is an existential crisis for both world Orthodoxy and for the OCA. All wait to see what’ll happen.

26 May 2018. Bishop Lazar On Allowing Politics to Trump Faith (Pun Intended)

As followers of Christ, we shouldn’t expect the secular authorities to do for us what we can’t accomplish through our faith and moral leadership. Too often, instead of being moral leaders, we Christians become nagging moralists, with a skewed concept of what constitutes true morality, as we compartmentalise our moral concepts and precepts into “people we’re for” and “people we’re against” without stopping to think that we’re against no one and for everyone. We don’t recall that the only people Jesus spoke harshly to and about where the political moralists of His day. We also forget that the moral leaders of the secular world and the religious leaders compromised themselves with the secular world who finally crucified Christ. The religious leaders used the political leaders and system in order to accomplish the execution of Christ.

Apostle St Paul wished to make it clear that one can’t do evil hoping that good will come of it. Yet, that’s precisely what so many Christians in America are doing today. Primarily, the Evangelicals and Fundamentalists support wickedness and immorality, hoping that thereby the American Supreme Court will be loaded with fanatical rightwing people who’d place religious ideology above the rule of law and the US Constitution. They’re willing to fall into a political idea and political idolatry for the purpose of accomplishing an agenda that has itself become idolatry. This idolatry is surely based in the heresies of raptureism, chiliasm, and apocalypticism. These heresies are based in egotism.

Christ redeemed us as members of the Bride of Christ, the Church, which is in the world, but not of the world. We’re saved by faith, not by political power. As the Desert Fathers said, ”One Christian is no Christian”. We’re a community, but we’re not a community which is here to persecute other people. We aren’t here to support one nation against another, as is done in the Middle East, but there are Christians willing to sell their souls in order to accomplish this. It isn’t a moral act or a Christian act to sell your soul to wickedness in order to accomplish an agenda. We’re here to proclaim the Gospel to those who’d hear it and to continue to love those who won’t hear it and to desire even their salvation. We aren’t here to load the political system with our doctrines. We must remember that when you dance with Caesar, Caesar always leads. Let’s not partake of evil hoping that some good would come of it.

3 February 2018. Damick Still Allied With Anti-Semitic Alt-Right Website… The Bishops Should Act to Right That Wrong

The above is an editorial cartoon of a GOP politician who hobnobs with Alt-Right scumbags. Damick et al are in cahoots with the same sort of slumticket. Our bishops have to slap Damick and his pals down hard.

Stephen Damick launched a website called Russian Faith. It’s linked to a site called Russian Insider. That site published anti-Semitic and Alt-Right articles… it’s posted material by the crankish “Brother Nathanael”. Therefore, our bishops have the duty to discipline Damick et al for their association with an anti-Semitic hate site and demand that he repudiate the Alt-Right scummers publicly. As for politics, the bishops have no warrant… however, anti-Semitism is an affront to all real Christians and against everything that we believe in. The bishops have the duty to rein in these scumbag konvertsy and their ignorant rightwing rants… now that they’ve allied themselves openly with active anti-Semites. If the bishops don’t act, it means that they endorse anti-Semitism. That’s the long and the short of it all. A Greek country pappas said it all during the Holocaust… “Our Lord Christ lived and died a believing Jew”. We may stand with the country pappas or we may stand with the Alt-Right anti-Semites. One is Christian… the other is demonic. Need I really tell you which one is which?

Alfeyev Opens Big Mouth on Gender… It ISN’T the Teaching of the Church… It’s Only His Ignorant Opinion

This is Alfeyev with his Uniate pals… he doesn’t even hide his treachery to the Church… this is why HH won’t give him a diocese… he fawns on the enemies of Christ’s Church

Illarion Alfeyev is opening his big mouth again. This time it’s about gender. Read this. This is NOT the teaching of the Church. It’s Alfeyev’s ignorant unsupported opinion. As he lacks any medical or scientific background, anything that he says is pure GIGO… rubbish of the highest order. Alfeyev is, perhaps, the most unpopular hierarch in the MP. Even the Kapalin brothers have more cred and tread. Alfeyev is only a patriarchal vicar… he’s just a vicar bishop with a white hat… HH refuses to give him a diocese, and outbursts such as this one are the reason why. Alfeyev panders to papists in general, to Uniates in particular, and to Evangelical sectarian boobies. Much of what he says isn’t official policy nor is it vetted by the Centre. He remains in his position because of his ties to certain oligarchs, to the papists, and to Westerners in general (he’s pro-American to a fault). He has no real basis of support in the Church in Russia, except for the clique around Shevkunov. However, expect the American Hard Right konvertsy to have a field day with this. I repeat… it isn’t the TEACHING OF THE CHURCH… it’s only Alfeyev’s idiosyncratic opinion. There are those amongst us who are worse than any outsider… Alfeyev is one such. Look at the image above… he kisses the asses of Uniates (the ones pictured are Galician Uniates from the USA… the worst sort of CIA stooges that you can imagine)… that shows the depth of his loyalty to Christ’s Church. What a loser…

By the way, the policy in the Russian Federation is quite similar to that in many American jurisdictions. If one presents legitimate medical documentation to the OVIR, the state changes the gender designation on one’s passport with no hassles or problems. So if you hear Amerikantsy Hard Right sorts blather about how Russia isn’t like the West… I’d advise you to take such with great scepticism. The Russian state listens to medical and scientific experts, not ignoramus loudmouths with no credentials like Alfeyev. Alfeyev embarrasses the Church yet again…
