Bill Recommending Life Sentences for Paedophiles Submitted to Gosduma

On Wednesday, Gosduma Deputy Speaker Irina Yarovaya, who heads a group in the Gosduma working on a draft law proposing life imprisonment for convicted paedophiles, said:

The bill specifies that sexual offences against children under 14 that result in severe damage to their health will be punishable by life imprisonment. Such crimes get reported later in time because people prefer to keep them secret, while children facing continuous harm are psychologically distraught. This is the reason why the bill extends the statute of limitations for crimes against minors until they come of age. The bill stipulates that when those living together with kids and teenagers or those responsible for their upbringing, education, and protection of their rights commit such crimes, it’s an additional aggravating factor. The bill also considers spreading pornography amongst children over the internet an aggravating factor and stipulates liability for coercing minors into sexual acts via the internet. We assume that a psychologist may be present as investigators question children.

Russian Priest Sentenced to 14 years in Prison on Child Molestation Charges

Russia is SERIOUS about putting crank priests in the slam. Another priest got hard time for sticking his hand in the till. This is what bozo priests in the USA and Canada deserve (but rarely get).

A TASS correspondent reported that Priozersky City Court in Leningrad Oblast sentenced Priest Gleb Grozovsky to 14 years in a high-security penal colony for molesting children in camps organised by the Russian Orthodox Church in Russia and Greece. Announcing the court’s decision, Judge Lyudmila Yashgina said:

We find Gleb Grozovsky guilty and sentence him to 14 years in prison.

Grozovsky said:

I understand the sentence and I’ll file an appeal. This isn’t the end; you’ll see the situation change.

The prosecutor’s office asked the court to sentence the priest to 15 years in a high-security penal colony and deprive him of the right to engage in activities related to the upbringing of children. Grozovsky plead “not guilty” and rejected all charges as absurd.

According to investigators, in 2011, Grozovsky, who was a priest at the Ascension Cathedral in Tsarskoye Selo near St Petersburg, sexually abused an underage girl. In the summer of 2013, he conducted similar actions towards two girls at an Orthodox youth camp in Greece. After an investigation began, the priest fled abroad and authorities put him on the international wanted list. In 2016, Grozovsky was brought to St Petersburg from Israel. Earlier, sources in the Russian Orthodox Church said that the Church would decide on whether to defrock Grozovsky after the court announced its verdict.

The recent brouhaha in Alaska over a dippy convert priest abusing kids (the Alaska State Police are investigating… it isn’t allegations) is an all-too-common thing amongst us. This didn’t happen in the old Metropolia days… you didn’t find this amongst the po-nashemu folks or Alaska Natives. However, the Anglos have brought in all sorts of pathology… they claim that they can smell out pervs, but I’d say that their gaydar is FUBAR. Seraphim Storheim did get convicted in a court of law… you can’t deny that. You can’t deny that his scumbag mouthpiece, Jeff Gindin, tried to trash the reputations of Storheim’s victims in court. Note how all the konvertsy jumped to Storheim’s defence. I’d still say that the Church should defrock all “clergy” with HOOM or CSB ties… they’re bad seed.

In like manner, the Church shouldn’t be considering questionable people like Brum or Eliel as bishops. Eliel lacked credentialisation until SVS recently granted him a degree under dubious circumstances (furthermore, anointed him head of the class)… don’t forget Eliel dropped out of GTU with Fatso and Brum. All that Eliel has is an MDiv… not enough education for a bishop. Bishops should have a kandidatura from an Orthodox institution (that’s the MP standard). Brum lacks Orthodox formation… that should eliminate him right from the git-go. To top that, he’s the author of the heretical anti-Orthodox “Brum Doctrine”… that the Metropolitan of the OCA is an absolute tinhorn dictator. That is, Brum never converted in his heart-of-hearts, and he remains papist to the bone. Add in that these two were confederates of such questionable sorts as Paffhausen and Podmoshensky, well, that seals the deal. These idiots are TROUBLE waiting to happen.

Cops Nick St Sava Seminary Student for Child Solicitation in IL

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that they charged a 22-year-old student at a theological college in Lake County with indecent solicitation of a child. According to a sheriff’s press release issued today, on Friday, Dario Spasić contacted someone whom he thought was a 14-year-old boy through a mobile social networking app, and arranged for a meeting at 22.00 the same day. Authorities said that Spasić actually communicated with a detective from the sheriff’s cybercrimes unit posing as an underage boy. When Spasić arrived for the meeting, the cops arrested him. The sheriff’s office confirmed that Spasić is a student at St Sava School of Theology in Libertyville IL, and the address the department provided for him is the same block as the school’s location. According to the school’s website, St Sava provides religious education and trains students for the Serbian Orthodox priesthood. A man who answered the phone at the campus in Libertyville, identifying himself as the property manager, confirmed that there’s a student there by the same name, but deferred further questions to another priest, who we couldn’t immediately reach. According to a sheriff’s press release, the arrested man “requested to meet with (someone) who he believed was the 14-year-old boy” with the intent to engage in sexual activities. Spasić remains at Lake County Jail, with bond set at 100,000 USD (3.84 million Roubles. 614,000 Renminbi. 6.1 million INR. 111,000 CAD. 113,500 AUD. 79,000 Euros. 62,000 UK Pounds). He’s set to appear in court on Wednesday.
