Council of Europe Report Includes Data on Destruction of Heritage in Kosovo

destruction in Kosovo

______________________________

In Strasbourg, Marija Obradović, member of National Assembly delegation and of the Culture Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (CoE) (PACE), said that Serbia couldn’t allow the adoption of a CoE resolution that doesn’t include data on a decade that saw more than 150 Serbian Orthodox churches destroyed in Kosovo. She noted, according to a release from the Serbian National Assembly, “We insisted that the draft report include facts about the destruction of Serbian cultural heritage, especially of those buildings not damaged in the pogrom in Kosovo from March 2004. I informed the members of the committee that 34 Orthodox churches and other cultural and religious buildings were damaged in that event alone”. Obradović remarked that Serbia’s opinion was received well by the other members of the committee, and by the rapporteur, especially considering that more than a few of those buildings had UNESCO protection, and that many were constructed in the Middle Ages, concluding, “The adoption of a resolution on this is expected early next year, and we’ll monitor closely its creation until then”. On Friday, the Committee on Culture, Science, Education, and Media of the PACE discussed a preliminary report on cultural heritage in crisis and post-conflict situations, included in the fourth part of the plenary session.

2 August 2014. They Weren’t “Ukrainians” Then… They’re NOT “Ukrainians” Now

The word “Ukrainian” wasn’t in common usage in 1844 (of course, Uniate fanatics dig up and quote isolated and atypical instances of “Ukrainian”, but they don’t count)… in short, the concept didn’t exist in general circulation! To use the word “Ukrainian” for any situation or person prior to the late 19th century is an ignorant and obsequious anachronism, adopted to please and/or placate a loud political pressure group. It’s not truthful, so, decent people should avoid such a usage. In fact, until 1948, there was no “Ukrainian Catholic rite” in Roman documents… it was the “Ritus Rutheniensis”, that is, “the Russian (Catholic) Rite”. I got that from a 1948 official Roman publication that I saw in Dunwoodie in the 70s. Don’t fall for the loud Uniate propaganda… it doesn’t correspond to the facts… that goes for such things as the so-called 1930s “Genocide” as well (there was none… the UN and PACE agree with the Russian position that it wasn’t genocide, it was part of the tragedy surrounding Collectivisation). You should know that the Uniate fascists weren’t part of all that… they were in Poland, and none of them suffered one bit… indeed, they were willing hangsmen and bully boys for the White Poles (they burned Orthodox churches in the Kresy at the behest of the Poles… fancy that)! Do remember that when you hear their rants and accusations…

My thanks to the Cabinet member who turned me on to this resource.

Russia Thanks Serbia for Support… Junta Orders Mobilisation (Again! For the THIRD Time!)… Maidan Terrorists to Join Junta Forces

00 odessa 01. 05.05.14

______________________________

On Monday, whilst on a visit to Serbia, Mikhail Yemelyanov, deputy head of the Just Russia faction in the RF Gosduma (lower house of the RF Federal Assembly), said that Russia is grateful to Serbia for opposing anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the USA, the EU, and other countries. At the talks with Serbian deputies, the delegation led by RF Gosduma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin thanked them for “not giving in to pressure and not joining the sanctions” as well as for support during the vote on anti-Russian resolutions in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the UN. Yemelyanov said, “It’s not a secret that the Americans were exerting pressure to prevent Naryshkin from coming [to Serbia]. That on one hand they’re seeking to join the EU and on the other hand weren’t afraid of receiving our delegation testifies to [Serbian] courage”. Earlier in the day, Naryshkin said that he’d met with Maja Gojković, President of the National Assembly of Serbia, to “discuss in detail the causes and evolution of the deep crisis in the Ukraine”. In Belgrade, Naryshkin laid flowers at the war memorial to Soviet soldiers who died liberating the Serbian capital in 1944, at the monument to World War I heroes, and at the tomb of Mikhail Rodzyanko, the speaker of the 3rd and 4th Gosdumas in the early 20th century.

A opolchenie spokesman said that 10 civilians and opolchenie fighters died and 25 more wounded in offensive sweeps carried out by junta armed bands near Slavyansk on Monday, with some of the wounded in critical condition. He added that more died in a firefight initiated by junta bands near the village of Semyonovka, where four junta armoured vehicles attempted to storm opolchenie strongpoints. In addition, the source dismissed reports in some media outlets quoting junta so-called “Interior Minister” Arseny Avakov that 30 opolchenie fighters died in the fighting. So far, the situation in Slavyansk remains calm. There were no armed clashes last night or this morning; no one heard any shooting.

On Tuesday, according to Interfax, 1+1 TV reported, “Following the 2 May incidents in Odessa, apart from the 46 dead, yesterday, sources reported another 48 people missing. Two dozen unidentified dead bodies are still lying in morgues”.

******

On Tuesday, RF Gosduma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin said at a forum in Belgrade, “The death of dozens of Odessa residents at the hands of disorderly radicals shocked all of us. We’re in mourning, together with the families and friends of the people who died on 2 May, burned alive in the Dom Profsoyuzov in Odessa. We face an act of true genocide, targeting both the Russian and Ukrainian people in the 21st century”.

On Tuesday, Interfax reported that junta boss Turchinov posted a decree on his official website ordering partial mobilization, after a National Security and Defence Council (SNBO) meeting on Monday. The decision also involves measures to give material support for military reservists called to the colours.

Editor:

This is the THIRD mobilisation ordered by Turchinov (he’s doing it for the Anglo-Americans, to be sure… their attention span is that of a gnat in heat in the rutting season). “I REALLY mean it this time”… it means that there’s massive draft evasion, and some of my sources tell me that even Galicia is “soft” on support for the junta’s war against Russians in the Ukraine. Only extremist Uniate/schismatical factions are in his corner (besides the miniscule American-besotted “Evangelical” lot, which includes Turchinov), but it includes the Uniate/schismatic hierarchy and most of their clergy. No one is going to respond to this… NO ONE. The junta is full of “leaks” and no one wants to fight for it. Is Russia waiting for it to fall of its own accord?

Donetsk People’s Republic Central Elections Commission head Roman Lyagin spoke to Interfax on the 11 May all-republic referendum, “A round-the-clock call centre will operate during the Donbass referendum to collect violation reports. We have 3.2 million voters; we’ve printed about the same number of ballot papers. As of now, we have 2,224 polling stations, but we’ll merge some and have about 1,200 polling stations in the end. We’re not inviting observers, but we don’t reject anyone either. We’re always glad to have guests and we’re ready to show the entire world that our referendum is honest and free. International observers haven’t filed any applications so far”.

On 25 April, the Donetsk People’s Republic Soviet approved the matter of the 11 May all-republic referendum. It’ll ask voters, “Do you support the act of state independence of the Donetsk People’s Republic?” Voting will take place from 08.00 to 22.00 on 11 May. Voluntary donations from public organizations and private people will fund the referendum. The Kiev junta fulminated against the regional referendum, which gained popularity in recent months, claiming that there were no constitutional grounds for holding such plebiscites.

Editor:

“There were no constitutional grounds for holding such plebiscites”… the junta pigs learned well from their American mentors. In the USA, “constitutional” means, “whatever’s approved willy-nilly and capriciously by Roberts, Scalia, and Thomas”. Do note that they have no problems with the use of torture and refused to allow prosecution of those who engaged in it. Shitbirds of a feather do flock together…

On Tuesday, according to a document posted on Facebook by the Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (SNBO) and former Euromaidan chieftain Andrei Paruby, the so-called “Council of Kiev Maidan Activists” approved an order whereby volunteers will serve alongside “National Guard” battalions, army battalions, and other security units. Maidan terrorists will join the so-called “National Guard”, MVDU units, army battalions, and other armed irregulars raised by the junta to repress its opposition. Interfax reported that core duties of the Maidan terrorists would be “to form various government security units within the shortest time and fill them with patriots to mount an armed defence of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence,” and “maintain public order in non-combat areas, form a reserve, and provide material and technical aid to regular battalions”.

Editor:

If you thought that you saw bloody criminality on the part of the junta, think again. They’re intending to use Uniate and schismatic terrorists to attack the Orthodox population of the east… this will provoke a patriotic upsurge. People will fight the one war worth fighting… a war to defend the motherland, to defend their families, to defend their faith and culture, and to defend their very lives. They will fight the Uniate filth to their very last breath. Note well that the junta can’t depend on the regular army and cops, so, it’s bringing in thugs and murderers. May God curse them and curse their cause. Let all who march on Russia be put to death…

Remember the victims of the Dom Profsoyuzov… NEVER AGAIN…

Statement of the Presidium of the KPRF Central Committee: Attacks against Communism… The First Sign of the Onset of Fascism!

01 NO! To Fascism!

______________________________

The KPRF expresses its deep concern due to the dramatic developments of the situation in the fraternal Ukraine. According to media reports, during the evening of 9 April, unknown arsonists torched the KPU headquarters in Kiev. The Banderovtsy seized it in late February, after which a so-called “lustration committee” handed the premises over to Euromaidan extremists. The fire broke out after police told the extremists that they had to vacate the building under a court order. The fire at the KPU headquarters destroyed 220 square metres (2,370 square feet) of office space. This incident shows the general atmosphere of chaos, violence, and lawlessness in the Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the neo-Nazi forces that seized power in Kiev during the February coup d’état can’t stop the wave of popular protests gaining strength across the country. Not only are the pro-Russian regions of the southeast rebelling against the junta’s anti-people policies, but also the western regions are joining in. However, the oligarch cabal that seized the country is trying to suppress the massive popular civil disobedience. The KPRF notes with alarm the increasing pressure on the members of the People’s Resistance in the southeast. Fascists attacked KPU Verkhovnaya Rada People’s Deputies, along with loyalist police and Berkut spetsnaz. A few days ago, in the Rada building, they used physical force against Pyotr Simonenko; he’s not only head of the KPU, he’s also a Rada People’s Deputy and a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

The junta continues its suppression of social and political forces opposed to them, and its repression of those who disagree with its actions continues to gain momentum. For this, the Ukrainian protégés of the West are preparing “death squads”. Right Sector terrorists will form the basis of these squads, with aid from Western intelligence agencies. The KPRF strongly condemns these new manifestations of anti-communism, as expressed by the torching of the KPU offices. The massacre of Communists is the first sign of the rise of fascism. We once again call attention to the two-faced policy of the West, on the one hand, they require compliance with international law, but with the other, they ignore the growing manifestations of neo-Nazism in the Ukraine.

Our party demands that the Ukrainian authorities allow an independent and impartial investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice. We support the actions of the KPU Rada People’s Deputies, who in protest against the present lawlessness left the Rada session and announced that they wouldn’t return until the authorities find the guilty parties. The KPRF expresses its solidarity with the KPU, along with its leader, P N Simonenko. We demand that the illegitimate junta in Kiev end its tyranny, and that it stop its repression of those who support restoring the historic brotherhood of the peoples of Ukraine and Russia! Once again, the KPRF urges the Russian Federation not to turn adrift the millions of Ukrainian citizens who turned to Russia, to give them full support and protection!

Editor:

G A Zyuganov is referring to the Reichstag Fire… he’s right in pointing up that such stunts are the precursor to Fascism. No American should show indifference to all this… all one has to do is to look at the history of the McCarthy era. Fascism not only lived in the USA, McCarthy’s spiritual children live on, in the Republican Party. Keep your wits about you… we run the risk of a new “Red Scare”. It’ll be especially acute after Russia wins this little contretemps over the Ukraine… the Republicans will accuse all leftists of “losing the Ukraine”. Just like “losing China”, no? Keep focused.
