23 January 2015. Russia’s Healthy Attitude to History

Russia has a healthy attitude to its history… Rus, Old Russia, the Tsardom of Russia, the Empire, the USSR. It’s all ours or none of it’s ours. President Lukashenko was right… our history is our history, it’s what it is, we have no other. That’s healthier than the attitude of the Amerikantsy toddlers, who believe themselves “exceptional and indispensable” and who think that they can redraw history on whim (the worst offenders being “conservatives”, interestingly enough).

I ask a simple question… where was “exceptional and indispensable” America in 988? The answer to that shows the vacuity, inanity, toxicity, and unreality of American “conservatism” and the evil that it espouses and does. Do ponder that well…

Can these dry bones live? They certainly can… but there’s little that grounded people can do beyond keeping the door open. If the konvertsy wish to abandon their foolishness and their sojourning in an alien land, to stop their dalliances with strange notional ideologies… only they can do so… we can do nothing beyond keeping the fire lit in the Last Homely Home and keeping their place at table ready. It requires an act of WILL. Shall they do so? I haven’t the foggiest notion… however, if they do come home, do avoid four words:

I TOLD YOU SO.

The loss of their cherished idols, the refutation of their discredited “truth”, the unmasking of their political notions for what they truly are, and the treachery of their false “friends” will be painful enough… do remember the Parable of the Prodigal… Our Lord Christ did relate it for a reason…

Need I add more? You CAN tell the lovers of rightness and truth from the paid hack sellouts without a scorecard. It’s rather obvious, isn’t it? Yet, they think themselves “important”, “respectable”, and “authoritative”… God laughs… after all, Objective Truth and Orwell’s Ministry of Truth are two rather different concepts, aren’t they?
