13 January 2018. V V Putin on Russians and “Ukrainians”

________________________

The post-1991 “Ukraine” is a fictive and notional entity with no real existence in the real world. The Soviets merged three very different major regions… Malorossiya, Novorossiya, and Galicia into a fanciful “Ukrainian SSR”. This is not to mention the Crimea, which was never “Ukrainian” at all, but was only made part of the Ukrainian SSR in 1954 by the drunkard Khrushchyov. Another region with a separate and distinct history is Podkarpatskaya Krai… which never was part of Galicia or Little Russia (it was part of Hungary, not Austria, in the Dual Monarchy; it was never under Polish occupation, as were Galicia and Malorossiya). There’s no unified “Ukrainian” nationality nor is there a “Ukrainian” language… the modern construct called “Ukrainian” comes from the Galician subdialect, which is a creole mixing elements of Polish and Russian. Most people in Malorossiya speak Surzhik, a dialect that mixes Russian and “Ukrainian” elements… it’s distinct from so-called “Ukrainian”. In Novorossiya and the Crimea, the language is Russian, and that’s that. That’s why the Crimea and Novorossiya were strongholds of the Party of Regions prior to the coup, as they opposed Ukrainian Nationalism and Galician cultural imperialism. Rusins have their own dialect (distinct from that of Galicia) written in the Latin, not the Cyrillic, alphabet.

In short, there’s no “Ukrainian” language or people per se. “Ukrainian” isn’t a nationality… it’s an ideology… a vicious fascist ideology of the most feral sort. The world will be safer when it breathes its last. By the way… “Ukrainians” would revert to what they truly are… Great Russians, Little Russians, and Galicians (along with Rusins in Podkarpatskaya Krai and some Tatars in the Crimea). They’d be what they always were… separate and distinct peoples, worthy of respect and dignity.

Almost 94,000 people in Podkarpatskaya (now, under “Ukrainian” occupation) obtained Magyar citizenship through Hungary’s Simplified Naturalisation programme. Magyar media sources report that Árpád János Potápi, Hungarian Secretary of State, said that almost 670,000 people went through the naturalisation procedure. So far, more than 710,000 ethnic Magyars living abroad have applied for Magyar citizenship. Potápi explained, “66 percent of new citizens came from Transylvania, 17 percent from Vojvodina, and 14 percent from Podkarpatskaya”. The Bethlen Gabor Fund, which operates in several European areas, including Podkarpatskaya, supports the initiative. Budapest budgeted almost 17.5 billion Hungarian Forints (3.99 billion Roubles. 405 million Renminbi. 4 billion INR. 65 million USD. 81 million CAD. 83 million AUD. 58 million Euros. 42 million UK Pounds) for the Fund’s activities in 2015. This year, Hungary expanded the programme, targeting such countries as Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

“Street Justice” in Užgorod… “Heroes of the ATO”: The Locals Beat the “Warriors”

I think that the author of this is being VERY sarcastic about the junta militants… note that her contempt for them just oozes out. Read the following in that spirit.

Four soldiers who returned unscathed from the warzone are now under treatment for injuries of varying severity, including one who is in hospital. These “ATO heroes” met with an unfriendly reception in their hometown… 20 young people attacked and beat these “defenders” who returned to Užgorod from the area of ATO to bury their brethren. Moreover, the attack took place on the patriotic holiday on the anniversary of the success of the Maidan. It went like this… after a hard day (the funeral of friends), they wanted to remember their fallen comrades, so they went to the “Skybar” at midnight. However, a group of Užgorod locals didn’t want these “heroes of the ATO” around, asked them to leave, and told them not to get in the way of the civilised leisure of future recruits.

This is how it all happened to our group of “volunteer warriors”, who came to have a drink for the souls of their “heroes”, then, apparently, planned to go back to their volunteer service. One of the volunteers related the incident, “Two drunk guys provoked a fight, then, began to threaten us, but they left the bar. To get out of this unpleasant situation, our guys called a taxi to go home. Half of the guys went at once, but four took went outside to wait for a taxi, but the taxi never came. About 20 guys ran out of the bar and started to beat up our guys… one lost consciousness after somebody hit him on the head with a board… he has a concussion, a broken nose, and many bruises; another got hit on the head with an iron object like a valve. A third took off his jacket and put it on his head as they began to hit him violently, and they knocked the fourth to the ground, and pushed him all around”.

In general, it’s very strange that brave warriors who fight packs of terrorists in the combat zone offered no resistance when a bunch of skinny fellow countrymen beat them on the head with boards. After this impromptu beating, the “ATO heroes” tried to give a written statement of the incident to the cops. However, an “ambush” waited them, even here… the Užgorod patriots got to the cops first, demanding that they punish the soldiers for hooliganism. The cops are investigating the incident about the volunteers; they appealed to the public to keep calm. However, one meets a completely different mood at bus stops, in the market, and in stores… people openly express their approval of the actions of their fellow countrymen and don’t sympathise with the “defenders of a unified Ukraine”.

Užgorod: Residents Rebel Against Clan Balogh Manipulations

00 zakarpattya Carpatho-Russia

______________________________

The local oligarchs, Clan Balogh, manipulate the Užgorod Gorsoviet* and the acting city authorities, clamping down their control of the capital of Podkarpatskaya Rus. Today, in formal terms, the most senior politician in Clan Balogh is I I Balogh, chairman of the Zakarpatskaya Oblsoviet*. However, the most powerful of the Balogh brothers is the oligarch V I Balogh {a pal and former literal partner-in-crime of junta strongman P A Poroshenko: editor}. In Užgorod, the acting mayor began to kick out top managers of municipal departments in an attempt to transfer control of urban infrastructure to his patrons in Clan Balogh. On 31 July, this led to disorders. Workers from ZhRERa Nr 5 (ZhEKa*) and residents of neighbouring houses tussled with bully boys from Can Balogh who tried to seize the enterprise, which turned into a rally supporting the gorispolkom* and the seizure of the Užgorod Gorsoviet building.

This was in the comments:

Colonel Aleksandr Moshkovsky, the local military commissioner, stated that they stopped mobilisation in Mukačevo. After mass protests, the government had to make concessions and stop the mobilisation there. Colonel Moshkovsky, other officers of the local military office, the city authorities, and the public agreed to look at problems stemming from the mobilisation. For now, the local military office agreed that no one from Mukačevo would go to the war zone. Moreover, the local military office admitted that no one from Mukačevo showed up to report for service in the Ukrainian Army during the third wave of mobilisation. According to local military officers, supposedly, they only send volunteers with military experience to the area of operations.

This requires no comment from me… the junta IS in the deep doo-doo. Don’t listen to Uniate lies and don’t listen to bullshit from the Western media.
