I get much pro-Russian news from Polish contacts. Just because Zbigniew Brzeziński is an unreconstructed White Pole (and here) nutter and the Polish government is in cahoots with the EU does NOT mean that REAL Polish people:
They know what the Rusins in the Lemkovshchina went through in World War I, World War II, and the Akcja Wisła. They know about it, they don’t want it repeated, and they DO support us, now. Not all of them do so, but many do support us, probably, most of the ordinary workaday sloggers do. Russia and Poland aren’t enemies… but the West wants that, as does the Roman Curia (that doesn’t mean that ordinary RCs know or are behind that… do keep a sane perspective). Hell, Polish food is often only Russian food with different names (that’s also vice versa, too)… whether you call ‘em pierogi, varenniki, or pelmeni… it’s all good eats, and of the same basic sort. Pass the pivo (or piwo)… I think that ordinary Russians and Poles get on well enough, both in the homeland and in the diaspora. Let’s keep it that way…

You can choose whom to support… you can support these people or you can support the neo-Naziterrorism backed by Washington. It’s your choice… choose well…

On 19 November, the remains of 35 civilians executed during the Great Patriotic War were reburied in Chashniki Raion (Vitebsk Oblast). For years, local residents asked the authorities to look into information that allegedly there was a place of mass execution of civilians near the village of Koptevichi. According to eyewitnesses, during the Nazi occupation, the occupation forces killed people of different nationalities… Poles, Belarusians, Jews, and Roma. To accommodate the local residents’ requests, the Chashniki Raion Executive Committee asked for help from the 52nd Search Battalion, which is in charge of searching for the bodies of fallen soldiers and civilians. The battalion discovered the remains of 35 people.
The priest has no qualms about blessing the reburial of Poles, Jews, and Roma people, who weren’t Orthodox. The Real Church doesn’t have all the nasty hangups that the konvertsy have… thank God. God bless this priest… he did the right thing. “Love one another as I have loved you”… indeed…

On 16-19 August, Patriarch Kirill Gundyaev of Moscow and all the Russias will visit Poland at the invitation of the First Hierarch of the Church of Poland, Metropolitan Sawa Hrycuniak of Warsaw and all Poland. On Tuesday, Deacon Aleksandr Volkov, head of the patriarchal press service, told Interfax-Religion, “This the first official visit of [Patriarch Kirill] to the Church of Poland, and, no doubt, this event will be of paramount importance in maintaining good Christian relations between our peoples”.
In the course of his visit, the Patriarch will serve together with the First Hierarch of the Church of Poland and his clergy. On 16 August, on his arrival in Warsaw, His Holiness will serve a molieben at the Cathedral of St Mary Magdalene. The principal services of the visit shall be on the eve of and on Transfiguration, on 18/19 August, at one of the most sacred spots in Poland, the Holy Mountain of Grabarka. Deacon Aleksandr told us, “Every year, a large number of pilgrims come to this place on the feast of the Transfiguration. The First Hierarchs will serve together on the feastday, which shall be the main event of the Patriarch’s visit”.
Besides this, Patriarch Kirill will visit parishes and monasteries in Poland, where he’ll meet and pray with Polish believers. Deacon Aleksandr went on to say, “Taking into account the importance of protecting traditional Christian values and culture in modern Europe, and our common concerns in this regard, His Holiness and the President of the Polish Episcopal Conference (RC), Metropolitan Archbishop Józef Michalik of Przemyśl, signed a joint message to the peoples of Russia and Poland”. He told us that the document would urge development of fraternal relations between Russians and Poles, “as they’re peoples who find the Christian Weltanschauung imperative”. In addition, as is customary, the Patriarch will meet with the highest levels of the Polish state leadership.
