I just got the word that Fr Alexander Atty, the former dean of STS, died. Ask your priest to remember him at the Proskomidi for the next 40 days. Light a candle, have pannikhida said for him, and remember him in our prayers. We’re Christians… that’s what we do.

Many of us know Fr Alexander Atty, the former dean at St T’s… and know that he’s stricken with cancer. So far, his condition hasn’t worsened… it hasn’t improved, either, but it hasn’t deteriorated. At first, he moved closer to Hershey Medical Center for treatment, so, he didn’t serve much at all during the last few months. Over a month ago, he moved back to his home area. As reports have it, his health is frail, but he’s not unwell. Keep Fr Alexander in your prayers, light a candle for him at liturgy, and ask your priest to mention him during the Proskomidi. It’s what Christians do…

Say a prayer and light a candle for the soul of Danilia. Have your priest say Pannikhida for her and have him mention her name at the Proskomidi. That’s what Christians do. She was the grown daughter of a dear friend of mine.
