This is why the zapadniki never get Russia “right”. They apply their Western “standards”… they find out that it “doesn’t add up”. What they don’t understand is that much of what they fancy to be “universal” is merely local and notional… based on Papist/Protestant assumptions that don’t fly in the rest of the Christian World (certainly, not in the Orthosphere), let alone the Non-Christian civilisational blocs. Perhaps, the most insular and bigoted part of the Western World is the USA (even Canada isn’t as narcissistic and pigheaded)… especially, those parts that follow “Evangelicalism” (Radical American Sectarianism… which isn’t Christian in the smallest-possible way). Anglo Americans truly believe that their idiosyncratic nostrums and shibboleths are binding on all mankind… they do. They truly think themselves the “masters of the universe”… yes, they ARE that deluded, hubristical, and juvenile.

I believe that they’d best stop poking at the Bear. Bears aren’t dangerous unless provoked… but the USA has goaded the Bear for 25 years… it’s been telling gross fibs about the Bear since the end of World War II. That had best change… or America will find out what every invader of Russia has found out. “All those who march on Russia with sword in hand, by that same sword shall they die”. Napoleon and Hitler found that out… and all too many of their hapless soldiers still lay buried in the Russian land. America would find out the same thing… don’t listen to asshats like Joe Biden, John McCain, Chilly Hilly, or Ted Cruz… they’re not going to march against the Rodina… nor will their sons march in the doomed host. Reflect on that…
