Cops Nick St Sava Seminary Student for Child Solicitation in IL

00 kiddie sex suspect. 25.09.14

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that they charged a 22-year-old student at a theological college in Lake County with indecent solicitation of a child. According to a sheriff’s press release issued today, on Friday, Dario Spasić contacted someone whom he thought was a 14-year-old boy through a mobile social networking app, and arranged for a meeting at 22.00 the same day. Authorities said that Spasić actually communicated with a detective from the sheriff’s cybercrimes unit posing as an underage boy. When Spasić arrived for the meeting, the cops arrested him. The sheriff’s office confirmed that Spasić is a student at St Sava School of Theology in Libertyville IL, and the address the department provided for him is the same block as the school’s location. According to the school’s website, St Sava provides religious education and trains students for the Serbian Orthodox priesthood. A man who answered the phone at the campus in Libertyville, identifying himself as the property manager, confirmed that there’s a student there by the same name, but deferred further questions to another priest, who we couldn’t immediately reach. According to a sheriff’s press release, the arrested man “requested to meet with (someone) who he believed was the 14-year-old boy” with the intent to engage in sexual activities. Spasić remains at Lake County Jail, with bond set at 100,000 USD (3.84 million Roubles. 614,000 Renminbi. 6.1 million INR. 111,000 CAD. 113,500 AUD. 79,000 Euros. 62,000 UK Pounds). He’s set to appear in court on Wednesday.

4 July 2013. Storheim Reportedly Offered New Plea Deal… Told He Turned It Down

01 the judge

I got this from one of the Cabinet:

Archbishop Seraphim offered another deal… plead guilty and accept House Arrest in a monastery, but he refused it. NOW, when he’s found guilty, he could get 25 years to life… the arrogance is breathtaking.

No confirmation, but I’ll say this… it sounds “right” and it sounds like other cases Canadian courts tried in the past. Actually, the Canadian justice system is doing its best to close this case up so that the OCA can heal. But NO! Some schmidiot refuses to deal… it smells like Lyonyo. He’s gotten away with it before, and he thinks that there’ll be another deus ex machinaMiracle of the House of Brandenburg” to save the OCA’s bacon yet again.

The OCA will pay dearly for this, and Mollard‘s bovine passivity won’t help. Lyonyo’s luck just ran out, I think…

24 September 2011. Canadian Parish Gives Notice on its Website of Visit by Suspended Hierarch… What Gives?

What’ll a judge say of all this?

Read this:

SNAP Orthodox is appalled that suspended Archbishop Seraphim Storheim, a credibly accused child molester, is visiting a Canadian church this weekend. Less than a year ago, the Winnipeg police issued an arrest warrant for Storheim. He turned himself into the police in Edmonton last November. Storheim was questioned by the authorities, and released after posting a 500 dollar CDN (15,620 Roubles. 485 USD. 360 Euros. 315 UK Pounds) bond and surrendering his passport. The terms of his release also forbade Storheim from having contact with minors. The case involves the abuse of two ten year old boys.

At a special meeting on 30 November 2010, the Orthodox Church in America’s synod of bishops suspended Storheim. Yet, now, he’s allowed to travel across the country to visit an All Saints of Alaska Orthodox Church in Victoria BC this weekend.

see : http://www.allsaintsofalaska.ca/

A copy of the announcement is below. This further hurts those who’re already suffering… wounded clergy sex abuse victims and concerned laity who were led to believe that clergy sex crimes and cover ups were being taken seriously by the Orthodox Church in America officials. We also question whether this violates the conditions of his release on bond that forbids having contact with minors.

Dear Brothers and Sisters of All Saints,

Vladyka Seraphim will be visiting our parish on September 23rd. He will be with us for Vespers at 6:00 pm to celebrate the Synaxis of All Saints of Alaska. We will then have a dinner at the parish with Vladyka. This will be a potluck dinner. Fr Michael will also be present and serving the vespers. Fr Larry will be arriving from Alberta on the 23rd and is planning to be at vespers.

We’d like to make this an organised potluck so please volunteer for:

  1. Salad
  2. Main Dish (Vegetarian and Meat)
  3. Drinks
  4. Dessert

The following day, the 24th will be the official installation of Fr Larry as our Priest. Following the Divine Liturgy, we will have a celebratory lunch to officially welcome Fr Larry and Matushka Myra. This will also be a potluck lunch. Fr Larry will be here for this, but probably not Matushka Myra.

Please, sign up for:

  1. Salad
  2. Cheese tray
  3. Meat tray
  4. Drinks
  5. Main dish
  6. Vegetarian
  7. Drinks
  8. Dessert

Please, remember that Vladyka does not eat meat (fish and shellfish are fine), and is on a low carbohydrate diet. Things like quinoa that have a high protein content are acceptable for him to eat. Also, Fr Larry is on a restricted diet. He does not eat gluten (wheat), dairy, cane-sugar, or red meat.

See you soon…

Don’t forget that the semi-agm is planned for October 02, after the liturgy.

URL for both of the above items:

That’s NOT “the end of the story”. Look at this (a friend sent me this with no URL):

I don’t really see what the problem is. The announcement said nothing about Archbishop Seraphim celebrating any of the divine services. Archbishop Seraphim is allowed to attend services and spend time with friends, which apparently include this parish in Victoria. There is nothing to suggest that he will have unsupervised contact with minors. The only part that gives me pause is the part about the “official installation of Fr Larry”, but as long as whatever that entails doesn’t involve Archbishop Seraphim celebrating a service in contravention to the direction he has received from the Synod, there’s no problem.

The above was from “Helga” (another brave username commando)… she tried attacking me once… I skewered her right properly. This ignorant little konvert is setting herself up as an interpreter of both civil and canon law… I know that the konvertsy are impetuous and boorish, but this is breathtakingly arrogant and STUPID. I know where the “stupid pills” are! Helga’s hogged ‘em all!

Seraphim’s pissing on the Winnipeg magistrate with full malice aforethought. He thinks that he’s untouchable. How many other “visits” of this sort has this paladin made? Remember, the konvertsy extremists have no respect for the law, either ecclesiastical or civil; they’re deluded and fanatical cultists of the worst sort (especially the former HOOMies… who have a history of questionable activities in re child abuse). After all, they’re defenders of Gleb Podmoshensky… they don’t care that a canonical Church (ROCOR) defrocked him for good reason. Let’s see… who else has ties to Mr Podmoshensky? There’s Freddie M-GRod Dreher… AND PAFFHAUSEN.

These folks have no regard for you. Full stop. They intend to flout the law, defy both Church and state, and they dare you to do something of it. As a friend of mine wrote me:

Fuck them… they want to be on the side of child molesters and convert swine.

Harsh, but true, I’d say. Another wrote:

The OCA allowing Seraphim to visit other parishes while he’s suspended is unconscionable.

I quite agree with this spot-on observation. I noticed something else. As of 10.00 EDT 24 September 2011, oca.org still listed Ray Velencia as a clergyman of the Archdiocese of Washington of the OCA. I saved a copy of the page to my files. Supposedly, he received a canonical release to the GOAA, but Greek friends of mine say that’s not so… one said to me, “Let him show a real release like Bishop Mel has… I’ll betcha that there isn’t any”. In addition, there’s NO NEWS WHATSOEVER on oca.org concerning the reinstatement of Dickie Wood (if he has been, that is). Moreover, I can state after searching patriarchia.ru that there’s no notice of any “patriarchal blessing” on any meeting between El Gordo and Ovchinnikov at East 97th. This means that Ginny Nieuwsma is nothing but a willing liar and shill for Fathausen and the Syosset cabal. I’d say to the oca.org staff, “If Velencia’s been released… remove his name from the clergy listings. If Dickie’s been reinstated… say so in a post on oca.org. If there’s been no patriarchal blessing on JP’s little soiree on East 97th, apologise to the readership”. Don’t hold your breath… Ms Nieuwsma isn’t going to do any of the above. She’s committed to keeping you in the dark and in ignorance of what her masters are up to.

Don’t send them any money… that’s the only thing that they understand. One last thing… it’s been 18 days since his last post… WHERE IS STOKOE? If nothing else, this shows the paralysis in the upper levels of the OCA apparat. Here’s what I find interesting… it appears that the ROCOR apparat is distancing itself from Syosset. Lebedeff waffled on the number of autocephalous Churches… that’s “tealeaves” of interest, I’d say.

It’s only going to get “better”. God do help us…

Fr Vsevolod Chaplin Urged the Authorities to Vigorously Hunt Down Distributors of Internet Kiddie Porn and Punish Them Harshly

Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin (1968- ), the head of the MP Department for Church and Society

We should lock up recidivist paedophiles and throw away the key…

Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, the head of the MP Department for Church and Society, felt that Russia isn’t being vigorous enough in its efforts to identify and punish distributors of Internet kiddie porn. On Wednesday, he told Interfax-Religion, “Russia lags far behind many other countries in fighting against sexual exploitation of kids and teenagers. We need to be more severe towards perps than we are at present. Well, both the President and the Gosduma haven’t only talked about it, they’ve done something about it, but there’s still more to be done”. He pointed up that some proposed “chemical castration, which isn’t very effective”; he rejected that, “but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t keep looking for solutions. We should lock up recidivist paedophiles and throw away the key. Undoubtedly, we should enact more stringent controls on the Internet”.

Yesterday, Российская газета (Rossiskaya Gazeta: The Russian Newspaper) published an article by Aleksandr Torshin, the Acting Chairman of the Federation Council, and Mikhail Barshchevsky, the government’s delegate to RF higher courts, which called for tougher action against paedophilia on the Internet. Fr Vsevolod noted, “This idea’s very good and long overdue. I’m glad that two very different people, who hold quite different philosophical and political views, proposed it. I’ve known Mr Torshin for quite some time; he’s a believer. On the other hand, I’m mostly at loggerheads with Mr Barshchevsky ideologically; we disagree on most points, we often argue in public forums”. However, he went on to say, “It’s great that two such greatly-disparate people issued a similar call for law enforcement to severely crack down on those who use the Internet to involve children in sexual contacts or for the production and distribution of kiddie porn”.

In his opinion, Fr Vsevolod thought that the authors of the article were correct to point up that, today, only concerned members of the public track paedophiles and distributors of Internet kiddie porn. He said, “What these guys do is quite admirable, but we need the state to get involved, as well. We should immediately identify anyone who uses the Internet to encourage children to engage in inappropriate sexual contacts or to distribute kiddie porn, and we should hold them accountable for it. We have the technical means to do this, and we have enough law enforcement officers to enforce it”. In conclusion, Fr Vsevolod summed up by saying, “We should show no mercy to those who commit such crimes, which means, firstly, that severe retribution is inevitable. I’m convinced that the people’s preference regarding this is clear… the overwhelming majority of the public would support such a course of action”.
