Zakharchenko sez Benefits to Families with Children will Increase in the DNR in the Second Half of 2018

Today, DNR Head of State A V Zakharchenko announced that the DNR would increase benefits to families with children in the second half of the year:

By the third quarter of this year, I guarantee an increase in benefits for social support for families with children.

At present, the DNR provides uniform social assistance at the time of the birth of a child, as well as assistance for all children under the age of three, allowances for single mothers, amongst other benefits.

Note that social benefits in the Peoples Republics keep rising, whilst those in American-occupied Banderstan keep going down. It says something, doesn’t it, about the Anglos… not very good, I’d say. After all, they INSISTED on hurting the little people… what amoral grasping brutes…

By the way, Hillary Clinton hates the Peoples Republics and their pro-people policies… she fomented the coup that put the anti-people pro-oligarch junta in place in the Ukraine. To boast of being “pro-life” while acceding to the removal of health care from millions of people, many of whom, children in particular, will die from lack of adequate health care, is surely one of the most gross and egregious hypocrisies of our epoch.

I lay in the hotel room hearing my uncles discuss the price of feed corn and it occurred to me, not once but several times, that I am a fortunate man and thank you, Lord, for Medicare A and B and a good group health policy and for savings to cover any shortfall. The 23 million people who may lose their health insurance in the next few years if Congress does as the man wishes will face some high barriers between them and any sort of eye surgery. This doesn’t come under the heading of Kindness.

Eighty percent of evangelical Christians who cast ballots last fall voted for a man who seems as far from Christian virtues (humility, kindness, patience, etc.) as Hulk Hogan is from the Dalai Lama. These people pray for guidance. So apparently, Jesus got the story wrong. The rich man came to Lazarus who was covered with sores and asked for a tax break, and the rich man was rewarded and Lazarus went to hell. Do unto others as you’re glad they don’t have the means to do unto you.

Remember… the Clintons brought us NAFTA, “welfare reform”, and the repeal of limits on Wall Street. Any ordinary person who voted for Hillary Clinton was a boob, full stop. Upper-Middles? They voted their class interest. They profited under the Clintons the last time and anticipated more good times under Hillary. As for us, they not only don’t give a good goddamn, they never did.

DNR Ministry of Labour and Social Policy Announced that Pensions would Increase by 10 Percent

Today, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced that the competent DNR government agencies completed indexation of pensions. The size of payments would increase 10 percent, effective 1 August 2016. It said:

We budgeted for the pensions of both civilian pensioners and retired security personnel, taking into account an increase in pension payments by 10 percent, to comply with a decree from the DNR Head of State.

The minimum DNR pension is 2,087 Roubles/month (212 Renminbi. 2,128 INR. 32 USD. 42 CAD. 42 AUD. 29 Euros. 25 UK Pounds). In a talk with journalists on 16 July, DNR Head of State A V Zakharchenko stated that the relevant DNR government agencies would carry out indexation of pensions this quarter. Later, Zakharchenko said that pensioners should receive an increased payment in August. On 15 March 2015, DNR Head of State Zakharchenko signed the Decree “On the Appointment and Payment of Pensions in the DNR”. Payments under this law started in April 2015.

The pension appears miniscule, but the prices are different in the DNR, and many items are cheaper due to state subsidies (just like the old USSR did). On the other hand, in the Ukraine, pensions and wages are falling (if paid at all) and prices are sharply increasing (just as the USA does… the junta copies its American puppeteers slavishly).

One of these things is not like the other. The DNR builds, using the healthy legacy of Soviet social policy… the Ukraine destroys, following the diktats of its American neoliberal “conservative” bosses. You may choose to support one or the other, but not both… choose wisely…
