Schismatical “Kiev Patriarchate” Hotheads Threatened to Throw Molotov Cocktails at Diocese of Sumy Admin Building… Cossacks Kick Their Gnarly Butts Out

00 Cossacks protesting Pussy Riot exhibition. 20.10.13

The modern Cossacks are just like their forebears in the Repin painting… “The Don Cossack Host Writes a Mocking Letter to the Pro-American Bumkissers”… now, THAT warms your heart, doesn’t it? Oh, yes… they still stand tall for the REAL Church over Uniate and schismatical Orthodox slimers

_____________________________

On Tuesday afternoon, a group of ten belligerent men led by a deacon and a priest of the so-called ”Kiev Patriarchate” arrived in the administration building of the Diocese of Sumy and Akhtyrka. A source at the diocese told us, “They told us that the Diocese of Sumy prayed for the Maidan victims outraged them. On top of that, they demanded a meeting with Archbishop Evlogy”. Archbishop Evlogy Gutchenko of Sumy met with one of the interlopers, who tried to convince Vladyki Evlogy of the need of joining “Kiev Patriarchate” ”Archbishop” Mefody Sribnyak for a joint service at Holy Transfiguration Cathedral. Our source noted, “After the bishop explained that the canons forbid such, they threatened to throw Molotov cocktails at the admin building and cathedral”. In an interview with Православие в Украине (Pravoslavie v Ukraine: Orthodoxy in the Ukraine), Archbishop Evlogy said that the Cossacks, who just happened to be holding a meeting at the diocesan admin building, kicked the schismatics out of the building. He observed, “I’m asking for prayers and help from our Sumy Orthodox believers. Right now, after hearing about this situation, believers are passing on the news; they’re gathering near the cathedral and admin building to protect our holy places”.

Ura for the Cossacks! Trust me, the Denisenko slimers won’t try that shit again. This means that the Cossacks have risen against the illegitimate Timoshenko putschists. This is good news for the good guys. Whenever the shit hits the fan in the Ukraine, the Cossacks stand tall… well, today’s no exception. Hmm…. Crimea’s against the Timoshenko usurpers… as is Sevastopol… as is the ethnic Russian East… and Viktor Fyodorovich et al are still merrily on the loose (do you still think that he’s stupid?). Don’t attend to the junta… they only have a presence on the internet, not in the real world. Don’t they remind you of the invariable ending of Nu, Pogodi? Yes… there WAS a difference… the wolf was more believable.

Schismatics in Sumy Oblast in the Ukraine Received into the Canonical Orthodox Church through Repentance

Bishop Iosif Maslennikov of Konotop and Glukhov (1978- ), of the canonical UOC/MP. The loudmouths in Stokoe’s comboxes are perpetually mewling about the “old and stuck in the mud” clergy in Russia… then, please, explain to me why the only clergy that I see in the MP are young men like this bishop and Archbishop Mark and Fr Vsevolod (and oldsters like Metropolitan Yuvenaly who’re “young at heart”)? Are we looking at the same Church?

______________________________

On 26 September 2011, the eve of the holyday of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, in Shostka in Sumy Oblast in the Ukraine, a parish of the schismatic “Patriarchate of Kiev”, led by their priest, returned to the fold of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church/MP. Earlier, Vladimir Skiba, known as “Hieromonk Siluan”, a former clergyman of the so-called UOC/KP’s Diocese of Konotop, petitioned Bishop Iosif Maslennikov of Konotop and Glukhov to forgive him, and to receive him, along with the members of the schismatic UOC/KP Holy Trinity parish, into ecclesiastical communion with the Diocese of Konotop of the canonical UOC/MP. Vladyki Iosif served the rite of accession to the Orthodox Church. Parishioners professed their loyalty to the Church of Christ, and they renounced all schismatic and heterodox activities and formally broke all ties with the schismatic Mikhail Antonovich Denisenko (formerly Metropolitan Philaret). At the end of the rite of accession and the reconsecration of Holy Trinity’s parish church, Bishop Iosif served Divine Liturgy. Vladyki Iosif expressed his sincere joy on the return of our brothers and sisters in the faith from the sin of schism. He said, “Schisms and divisions are wounds and sores on the Body of Christ, which is embodied by the Church. However, for Orthodox Christians, the Cross isn’t a symbol of death… it’s a symbol of life and resurrection. In ancient Jerusalem, touching the dead to the True Cross brought them back to life; when a parish returns to the salvific bosom of the Church, it breathes life into a newly-Orthodox community”. The newly-reconciled schismatics confessed and took Holy Communion together with other Orthodox Christians. Everyone received icons of the Saviour and the Most Holy Mother of God, along with an episcopal blessing.

Editor’s Note:

An MP priest sent me the link to this with the comment, “Is this the future for the OCA?” Now, it’s time to “speak the unthinkable”. With the nomination of John Jillions to be Chancellor, the OCA crossed a line. Mr Jillions is a known quasi-papist, Radical Renovationist, and indifferentist. His wife is even worse than he is. Together, they’re a force for evil… there’s no other way of putting it. I believe that portions of the OCA are going to descend into schism (that’s why Love BT must be prevented from attending the Sobor… he’ll light the match just out of spite). Interestingly enough, New Skete’s probably not going to spin off into vagante irrelevance. They need to sell their dogs and cheesecakes in order to survive, so, they have to stay “canonical”… they’ll either return to the Unia or go to the EP. SVS, too, won’t fly off into schism… they’ll go EP, just like the Paris cabal.

Here’s the saddest part… all of the loudmouth konvertsy truly think that they can “defy” world Orthodoxy. Trust me… they’d be disowned, and right smartly, too. They’d be nothing but another splinter that’s left the Church and spun into isolated and crackbrained rebellion. No one would miss them… NO ONE. Some of the saner parishes would be dragged into the whirlpool… the scenario illustrated by the above news item would play out in more than one community. As for the rest… the Church would take its traditional attitude… “If you wish to return, you know where the door is, and what the conditions are. They’re not going to change any time soon or any time later. It’s up to you”. We haven’t come to the darkest segment of the road yet. Are we at “June 1941” (the nadir-point of the atheist persecution… only 100 churches were left in all the USSR) yet? Shall we have to drink the cup to the bitter dregs? One hopes not…

Another Schismatic Parish in the Ukraine Joined the Canonical Church

Bishop Evlogy Gutchenko of Sumy (1967- )… he’s eating his Wheaties! He’s doing the right thing… he’s allowing schismatics to repent and join the Church… but he’s NOT letting schismatic clergy in without vetting them first. That’s what the OCA and AOCANA should have done with the HOOMies and EOCers. It’s not too late… defrock ‘em and start afresh, I say. They’ve done enough damage…

Holy Protection parish in the village of Kiyanitsa in Sumy Oblast, which belonged to the self-proclaimed “Patriarchate of Kiev (UOC/KP)”, petitioned to become part of the canonical Church. On Thursday, the parishioners’ request to Bishop Evlogy Gutchenko of Sumy and Akhtyrsky was posted on the official website of the UOC/MP. Previously, the parish had been under the pastoral care of a UOC/KP “priest” from the nearby village of Yunakovka, Roman Kravets. As reported earlier, Mr Kravets was admitted to the canonical Church as a layman. Together with him, the parish in Yunakovka left the schism and joined itself to the Diocese of Sumy.

Request of a UOC (KP) Parish to Return to the Fold of the Church of Christ

Your Excellency,

His Grace Evlogy,

Bishop of Sumy and Akhtirka,

Administrator of the Diocese of Sumy

Ukrainian Orthodox Church/MP

Your Grace! Dear Vladyki!

We, the people of the village of Yunakovka in Sumy Raion in Sumy Oblast, call upon you to take us, with all due repentance, into the fold of the Diocese of Sumy in the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Some years ago, in despair over the fate of our church, which was in disrepair, we made a big mistake. We gave in to blandishments from the representatives of the “Patriarchate of Kiev”, so that they’d provide financial assistance for rebuilding our church building. They assured us that the so-called Patriarchate of Kiev was canonical and recognised in the Orthodox world, so we went over to this organisation. We fully realise our mistake and the sin that our schism burdened us with. That caused us to come to sincere repentance, please, take us into the fold of the canonical Church. At the same time, we inform you that we’re the actual community of the so-called “Patriarchate of Kiev” in the village of Yunakovka. In addition, we sincerely ask you not to leave without mercy the former “priest” of the UOC/KP, Roman Kravets. We think that he’d bring much good to the Orthodox Church, if it’s at all possible, please, accept him into the ranks of the clergy of the Diocese of Sumy of the UOC.

Sincerely, in heartfelt repentance, and in hope of your mercy,

Former members of the Nativity of the Mother of God Parish of the UOC/KP

Village of Yunakovka

“Priest” of the So-called UOC/KP Appealed to the Ruling Bishop of the Diocese of Sumy in Repentance and was Received as a Layman in the Orthodox Church

Your Excellency,

His Grace Evlogy,

Bishop of Sumy and Akhtirka

A Letter of Repentance

Your Grace!

On 26 October 2009, I was ordained a “priest” in the schismatical “Patriarchate of Kiev”. The last place of my ministry was the Nativity of the Mother of God parish in the village of Yunakovka in Sumy Raion. I realised that the so-called UOC/KP is a graceless community and don’t want to participate in the sin of schism. Please receive me into the fold of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the omofor of its First Hierarch, Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and all the Ukraine, and under your holy omofor as well.

Your Grace,

[I remain] Your Humble Novice,

Roman Nikolaevich Kravets

Request of the Parish in Kiyanitsa to Return to the Canonical Church

Bishop Evlogy of Sumy and Akhtirka,

We, the parishioners of the parish of the Holy Protection of the Mother of God in the village of Kiyanitsa, at present under the UOC/KP, wish to be received into the fold of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Both the UOC/KP parish in Yunakovka and the UOC/KP “priest” Roman Kravets went over to the canonical UOC/MP. We, the parishioners of the UOC/KP in the village of Kiyanitsa support their decision. We wish to follow Fr Roman, so we turn to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the omofor of Metropolitan Vladimir Sabodan of Kiev and all the Ukraine. We kindly ask you to receive our Batiushka, Fr Roman, and to accept him into the fold of the canonical Orthodox Church.

Sincerely, in heartfelt repentance, and in hope of your mercy,

Parishioners of Holy Protection Church
