17 September 2012. Monomuckos Nutters Keep Issuing Lies About Fathausen

______________________________

It’s interesting what the syphilitic children over at Monomuckos are posting:

“Prior to his elevation as Metropolitan of the OCA, Metropolitan Jonah received two Master’s degrees (Master’s of Divinity, 1985; Master’s of Theology, 1988), joined Valaam Monastery in Russia, and was tonsured a Hieromonk in 1994. He served as Abbot of St. John’s Monastery for 12 years. He went from Abbot to Auxilary Bishop to Bishop to Metropolitan in just one month.”

Firstly, Fathausen was NEVER a member of the brotherhood of Valaam Monastery in Russia. He was allowed to live there as a guest. I’ve often posted this fact, and I’ve NEVER been brought to task by it by any responsible Russian source. Secondly, he did NOT earn a Master of Theology in 1988… he dropped out of GTU in Berkeley, as did his pal Gerasim Eliel (the latest “degree” “earned” by Eliel given by SVS was a fraud… given in sycophantic obeisance to the then-Metropolitan… the smart word has it that it was all “ghost-written”). To speak of going from Abbot to Metropolitan Archbishop in a month is not praise… it’s highly irregular. Hilarion Kapral became a vicar bishop in 1984, a ruling bishop in 1996, and First Hierarch in 2008… a much more common career path. Furthermore, he didn’t live in a real monastery in California, he lived in a newly-minted monastery full of neophytes like himself, one that he filled with the Imiaslavie heresy.

These nasty-minded lying toddlers need to be reined in… but who shall bell the cat? As one can see, the truth (either the plain truth or the Truth of the Church) means nothing to them. What should we do of it? Frankly, all former-Anglican konvertsy priests should be defrocked tout suite… they’re sullying Christ’s Church. The rest should be culled… for the good of the Church. Their minuscule missions can be served by a circuit-riding priest every four to six weeks. It’s better to have a few good priests than a great many zipperheads. We have too many priests… the talent pool of qualified men is only so deep, ergo, we’re ordaining people who shouldn’t have any access to power or influence. We’re ordaining people who shouldn’t be priests in the first place to “fill the ranks”… as I said, its better for a small mission to be served by a circuit-rider than it is to have an unfit man at the helm… which is all too common, I fear. For instance, converts don’t need convert leadership; they need someone who’s solid in the Faith.

God do help us. The coming period will be one of the worst in our Church’s history, but if we don’t face down this problem, we won’t have a Church. That’s all that there’s to say…

17 July 2012. Love BT Opens His Mouth… Inserts His Foot… Dreher Dumps on JP on Monomakhos

They DID… what do these ramblings tell you about Love BT and Rod Dreher? Nothing good, I’ll warrant…

______________________________

Here’s the complete text of Love BT’s comments on Monomakhos:

What are the alleged entries in Father Symeon Kharon’s “criminal record?” With what has he been charged and convicted? To what extent has one diocesan bishop’s continuing resentment of nuns imported from Greece, who say bad things about his own record there, been seized upon as fuel for the attack on Metropolitan Jonah? If a Holy Synod is now going to busy themselves with a rape investigation, how will their expertise exceed that of men trained in investigations and criminal justice? They expect to succeed after the cops and the DA failed? Does the Holy Synod now operate, especially in the area of sex-related sins, according to the rule, ”Guilty until and UNLESS PROVED INNOCENT BY US?” Will this be the exceptionalist American gift to historical Orthodoxy? It looks almost as if they are dying to prove something, anything against Metropolitan Jonah to justify their reversing their malfeasance in electing Metropolitan Jonah? Why, perhaps those who thought the bishops need more management and leadership training, would place a higher priority on their all being given a course in Criminal Justice 101?

Most of the senior OCA and ROCOR clergy in the Bay Area know Igumen Gedeon Kharon, his brother, Alexander Kharon, and Alexander’s son, now Fr Symeon. The whole family lived for a time in the Russian Women’s Home of Mercy, when Father Gedeon was the chaplain there. Seems to me Fr Gedeon might have served out at Russian River as well. Probably, Metropolitan Jonah remembers the family from when he was a monk out here at St Eugene’s/St John of Shanghai Monastery. By the way, someone here wrongfully and unintelligently opined that Metropolitan Jonah had not been a monk very long before becoming an abbot. What an idea! Jonah was a monk for YEARS there. Rather than appoint him abbot, I appointed Fr Nicholas Soraich, the Chancellor, to be “Dean of the Monasteries”. He spent quite a while, with his unique management style and knowledge of Serbian monasticism, in trying to effect and maintain standard order in that monastery. It was, actually, like trying to herd cats. They all had cell phones and laptops; Fr Jonah had a car and travelled a lot, advertising monasticism. In fact, that’s how most people ever heard of Jonah, his peripatetic life extolling monastic life. He did go to Valaam for a while. He once told us about how strict the diet was there and how awful the fish soup. I asked him if he actually followed the monastic regimen. He chuckled in his way and answered, “Your Grace! You must be kidding! I couldn’t have survived on what they eat!”

Remember, the Synod now beginning a rape investigation, apparently did NOT investigate an episcopal candidate enough to know ANYTHING about his qualifications to be First among them, the Primate!!! They admit to being astonished and bewildered!!!! WHY did they elect him? If I had to make a charge against them in a church court, it would be something like, “They acted, contrary to their episcopal vows, ‘in fear of the people’”.

Love BT posted the above drivel at 14.45 today… ergo, Love BT likes kicking people who can’t kick back. That’s maliciousness… that’s sadism… that’s cruelty. Oh, yes… Love BT was one of the bishops who elected Herman Swaiko First Hierarch of the OCA; so, all of the complaints that he levels at the OCA Holy Synod, he levels at himself. Isn’t it amusing how the wicked always end by harpooning themselves?

Rod Dreher is on Monomakhos dumping on JP. That loud ignorant toddler should shut his mouth. He’s still shitting in his nappies, and he’s got the goddamned gall to make comments as though he’s a grounded adult. He’s never once taken “flak” for standing up to crook clergy; he’s the konvertsy faction’s drooling lapdog. He doesn’t know a cannon from a canon… but he’s a great expert! Freddie M-G says so. I’ll be blunt, one of my contacts in Northern California saw Dreher and Freddie driving from Platina, after visiting their guru, Gleb Podmoshensky. He should keep his mouth shut… he’s as deep in the shit pit as JP is. In any case, grounded people know when to stop “kicking”. Immature brats like Dreher don’t. I find him utterly beneath contempt and simply nasty to be around. He’s devilish… simply devilish… and I’m not alone in that opinion of him.

17 July 2012. Love BT on JP… and a Word on Kicking Those Who are Down

______________________________

One of the Cabinet sent me something posted on Monomakhos by Love BT. I looked at that site, and I concluded that it wasn’t a recent post. However, it does indicate what a certain segment of the apparat thought about JP, and it allows me to make a point about “kicking someone when they’re down”. Here it is:

By the way, someone here wrongfully and unintelligently opined that Metropolitan Jonah hadn’t been a monk very long before becoming an abbot. In fact, that’s how most people heard of Jonah, his peripatetic life extolling monastic life. He did go to Valaam  for a while. He once told us about how strict the diet was there and how awful he found the fish soup. I asked him if he actually followed the monastic regimen. He chuckled in his way, and answered, “Your Grace! You must be kidding! I couldn’t have survived on what they eat!”

This was known for quite some time; yet, those who spoke likewise were quashed by the First Family apparat. However, now that JP, apparently, is out of the running, we should all lay off him. Mind you, he bears careful watching… mind you, the Holy Synod should issue a zhurnal restricting his movements, and specifying where he can worship for the time being. All things being equal, we mustn’t forget that JP has an enthusiastic coterie that hasn’t given up on him. If you doubt my words, log onto to Monomakhos… I rest my case.

JP was only a symptom. We haven’t even begun to treat the underlying disease. All of us who’re adults now will pass on before we finish the task of healing our broken Church. In short, we’ve only started on our way to the Promised Land (we’re nowhere near Mt Sinai yet, not near it at all)… and all too many of us are still dancing about the Golden Calf. We have a long and hard road ahead of us, and the immediate near future isn’t going to be pretty in the least. It’s time to start going home…

We Must All Stand Together

russian army female paratrooper 2

Don’t mess with the best! The HOOMies have a surprise or two awaiting them if they muck about with real Orthodox Christians and their friends…

_______________________________

I had a nice chat with a lawyer, yesterday. She was pointing some things up for me, and I think I learned a great deal. Unlike some others I could mention I know that there are many things in this world that I don’t know squat-doodly about. One of those things is the law. So, I was “all ears”, as they say. To keep it simple, I should state whether things are matters of public record or my conjecture based on the public record. If I do this, I would be immune from legal harassment. It wouldn’t stop them from making my life miserable or airing my dirty laundry, for, like it or not, that’s not illegal… it’s immoral… but the law doesn’t deal in morals, it deals in legalities. All of us should keep that in mind. We can stop the OCA legal eagles from harassing us, but we can’t stop OCA clergy and their allies from issuing gossip, innuendoes, and personal attacks unless it strays into libel or slander… and my lawyer friend was quick to point up that these fellows rarely do that… most are brighter than Raymond Velencia (you’re more likely to deal with a Karlgut, Garklavs, or Burdikoff, who’re more sharp than that… give the devil his due).

Bert and Harry ask, “What’s the deal?”

______________________________

So, what’s a “matter of public record”? Well, here’s a partial list:

  1. Russki Palomnik wasn’t an official publication approved by any bishop. It was an unofficial production of Gleb Podmoshensky, produced after the date of his deposition, a fact known by James Paffhausen.
  2. Gleb Podmoshensky had been deposed by the ROCOR Holy Synod prior to James Paffhausen’s trip to Russia and such deposition was a matter of public record and duly publicised by the Synod. Therefore, James Paffhausen knew that Mr Podmoshensky was in a state of rebellion against the Church.
  3. The members of the brotherhood of the St Herman Monastery in Platina CA left, due to the morals charges brought against Mr Podmoshensky, except for Damascene Christiansen and Gerasim Eliel (both of whom are close to Jonas Paffhausen).
  4. James Paffhausen was only a long-term guest of Valaam Monastery; he was never an official novice or monk there.
  5. David Brum was received into the OCA at the chapel of Jonas Paffhausen’s monastery in Point Reyes CA in 1997. Mr Brum subsequently became Secretary to Metropolitans Feodosy Lazor and Herman Swaiko.
  6. Earlier this year, Jonas Paffhausen stated in Moscow that no one was left from the former administration except for a house-cleaner and some secretaries. Who was with him in Moscow? Leonid Kishkovsky… the head of the OCA DECR under Metropolitans Feodosy and Herman… and continued in that post by Jonas Paffhausen. Interesting assertion, nicht wahr?
  7. The funds for the Koumentakos case legal bills and the trips to Moscow and Georgia weren’t in the budget submitted for public scrutiny on oca.org.
  8. The CFO of SVS was named the Treasurer of the OCA. Is she going to hold both offices concurrently? A “search” for a new treasurer had been announced on oca.org. How many other candidates were interviewed? How’re the conflicts of interest going to be avoided?
  9. Alexey Karlgut attempted to get Kristine Koumentakos to sign legal papers dropping her lawsuit against the OCA.
  10. Igor Burdikoff resigned as Treasurer of the Diocese of NY and Washington (or NY/NJ) after questions were raised concerning 125,000 USD supposedly spent on the bishop’s residence.
  11. Igor Burdikoff was named Administrator of Holy Cross Monastery in Niagara Falls NY. Said monastery bolted the OCA for HOCNA. Were these two facts interrelated?
  12. Mr and Mrs Robert Kondratick named the OCA as defendant in a lawsuit… then, they pulled it… but, this suit hasn’t been withdrawn definitively…
  13. Robert Kondratick was deposed as a clergyman, then, rehired in lay status, at a salary higher than that earned by many priests.
  14. Raymond Velencia was named to the Metropolitan Council whilst he was still involved in litigation.
  15. Raymond Velencia directly sent an e-mail to the Metropolitan Council based on material derived from confidential counselling sessions and confessions.

Iliff, Eric Xmas Tree

Eric Iliff (1981-2007). “They all had faces… they all had names…. nothing is forgottten… no one is forgotten”… Vechnaya yemu pamyat!

______________________________

One could go on. However, all of the above is a matter of record… all is attested (I also have no wish to bore you with a long laundry-list). There is more, but, it is either not attested, conjecture, or hearsay. If one repeats the last, one runs the risk of legal action by the OCA (this warning is VERY serious… PAY IT HEED!). The Iliff affair is a case in point. I would advise everyone to click here to go to the Pokrov website. Once there, type in “Iliff” in the search box. You’ll find it enlightening… reflect on the fact that Mr Iliff committed suicide whilst his litigation was pending… read the material and come to your own conclusion. I wish to state publicly that I’m not perfect. There are many sins on my plate. You see, the first tactic they use is, “See, look at what this person has done, therefore, they aren’t telling you the truth”. I’ve received no money from the Church, I’m receiving no money from the Church, and I anticipate receiving no money from the Church in future. Is this true of those issuing attacks on the common faithful? Hmm… In any case, those accusing us of being sinners are sinners themselves! However… I fully expect that if I don’t cease posting on the current Church situation, there’ll be those who shall air my every peccadillo and “secret”. Nevertheless, I must step forward… someone has to speak out. As Chukcha would say, “Chukcha says we all go on whale hunt… however… only one throws the harpoon”. Perhaps, my effort will be a failure… I’ve every confidence that others would step forward, in that case.

The ship of the OCA is sinking, yet, the officers won’t let the crew go to the boats… reflect on that!

I fear that things are going to get worse as the Syossetites realise the pickle that they’re in. It’s a situation directly analogous to the one that broke out in 1918 and 1919, when Bishop Aleksandr Nemolovsky lost his head in the crisis surrounding the Russian Revolution. The funds dried up suddenly, so, properties were mortgaged and imprudent loans were made, resulting, in the end, of the loss of much real estate, leading to much confusion and bitterness  amongst the faithful and clergy in the Church. It took YEARS to repair the material damage (the spiritual and psychic damage was incalculable). The ship’s sinking. The Honesdale loan isn’t paid off, donations are down, and the economic downturn hasn’t helped matters. The “sinking” of the OCA is going to affect all of American Orthodoxy in one way or another. Yet, there’s nothing that our confrères can do to help matters. They can only help by picking up the survivors… for only those who wish to be helped can be helped. We must stand together in this… for the consequences of losing the OCA to the HOOMies shall set back Orthodoxy in this country for centuries, if not permanently.

God help us all.
