Kiev Dissatisfied with Interpol’s Refusal to Issue Arrest Warrant for Yanukovich

________________________

Ukrainian Genprokuratura source Larisa Sargan told the Ukrainian News Agency:

After we found former Ukrainian President V F Yanukovich guilty of high treason, we requested that Interpol issue a Red Notice Arrest Warrant for him, but they denied the request. They considered it political persecution.

Earlier on Wednesday, Yanukovich said at a press conference in Moscow:

My movement isn’t restricted. I can freely travel across Russia; I’m not on the Interpol wanted list. I can travel to any country.

In late January, a Kiev court sentenced Yanukovich to 13 years in absentia for high treason.

This is important. It means that Interpol doesn’t buy the American narrative on the Ukraine. In short, Interpol believes that the present junta is only a temporary contrivance of the Americans and that it doesn’t have long for this world. Do note the silence of CNN, the NY Times, and the WaPo!

Light It Up!

________________________

It must be hard for New York Times editors to set their hair on fire day after day in their effort to start World War III. Today’s lead story, Russian Threat on Two Fronts Meets Strategic Void in the USA, aims to keep ramping up twin hysterias over a new missile gap and fear of Russian “meddling” in the 2018 midterm elections. The Times’ worldview begins to look like the script of a Batman sequel with Vlad Putin cast in The Joker role of the cackling psychopath who we must stop at all costs! America’s generals switched on the Batman signal beacon, but Donald Trump in the role of the Caped Crusader merely dithers and broods in the splendid isolation of his 1600 Penn Avenue Bat Cave, suffering yet another of his endless bipolar identity crises. The Times shrieks:

For God’s sake, do something! The Russians are coming!

Gotham City’s Chief of Police Hillary said exactly that last week in a Tweet! I think they misunderstood Mr Putin’s recent message when he announced a new hypersonic missile technology that, supposedly, would cut through any imaginable US missile defence. The actual message for the non-mental-defectives left in this drooling idiocracy of a republic was as follows:

Nuclear war remains unthinkable, so kindly stop thinking about it.

Mr Putin’s other strategic position is also misrepresented… actually, not even acknowledged… in Monday’s NYT propaganda blast, namely, to discourage the USA’s decades-long policy of régime-change here, there, and everywhere on the planet, creating a debris trail of one failed state after another. As a true-blue American, I must say these are two admirable propositions. Is it fatuous to add that atomic war is unlikely to benefit anyone? Or that the world has had enough of US military “meddling” in foreign lands?

Of course, the shopworn trope of Russian “meddling” in the 2016 election still occupies the centre-ring of the American political circus. Today’s Times story includes another clumsy attempt to set up expectations that Russia will hack the 2018 midterm elections in order to keep the hysteria at Code-Red level. As usual, the proposition assumes that the alleged 2016 hacking is both proven and significant when, going on two years, there’s no evidence of hacking besides the obviously amateurish Facebook troll farm. By the way, how does that compare to the USA’s 2014 covert toppling of Ukrainian President V F Yanukovich? Talk about “meddling!”

In public statements in recent weeks, Mr Trump’s top intelligence officials conceded that the president has yet to discuss strategies with them to prevent the Russians from interfering in the midterm elections this year. Mr Trump expressed severe doubts that the Russians meddled in 2016, contradicting the conclusions of his intelligence officials.

By inference, The New York Times has no doubts that the 2016 election was fatally hacked to defeat its preferred candidate… although there’s plenty of reason to suppose that the entire Russian “meddling” story was a mendacious psyops product of John Brennan’s CIA. It was only a few months ago that the Times and the cable news networks were shrieking about the White House National Security Advisor (General Flynn) being caught speaking with the Russian Ambassador… as if foreign ambassadors come here for some reason other than to keep open communication lines with American officials. What’s going on here makes the Red Scare of 1920 and the McCarthy episode of the early 1950s look sedate in comparison. It’s reasonable to suppose that officials in any foreign country watching the dismal ongoing spectacle here would conclude that the USA has lost its mind. Somebody, please, take us to the hydrotherapy chamber!

History Shows “Yanukovich Was Right to Oppose EU Association Deal”

Hole Lot of Trouble

_______________________________

Contra Magazin, an Austrian media outlet, argued that instead of the promised prosperity and cheap Russian gas, the Ukraine has to deal with a civil war and an economic collapse. Ukrainians were naïve to believe that the association agreement between Kiev and Brussels would usher in an age of careless affluence. When legitimate Ukrainian President V F Yanukovich refused to sign it, they took to the streets in what the media called the Euromaidan revolution. The new Kiev junta finalised the agreement, only to subject the Ukraine to “shock therapy”. Contra observed, “It’s becoming increasingly clear that [Yanukovich, deposed in an American-sponsored coup,] was absolutely right in his reservations” towards the document. Ukrainians are increasingly aware of this. Contra pointed up that the implications of the deal went further than any other agreement signed between the EU and a third-party, they’re truly damaging. The Ukraine has to carry out reforms to converge its legislation to that of the EU to the point when pan-European laws will become the norm. These changes would lead to (and have to an extent already resulted in) a radical privatisation and introduction of market-based pricing. The latter development makes it impossible for the government to offer energy subsidies, which means that ordinary Ukrainians have to pay ever-soaring utility bills. Many can no longer afford this. Contra concluded, “Taking into account the looming winter and the collapsing economy, these steps are a death sentence for tens of thousands of Ukrainians”. The agreement, hailed by the current Ukrainian junta and Brussels, also introduced restrictions on the main remaining Ukrainian export sector… agriculture.  The EU has to tackle overproduction in the agricultural sector and it doesn’t need competition from the Ukraine.

Let’s not be coy… Victoria Nuland, the architect of the neofascist Euromaidan coup, is a godless neocon Republican… a typical nihilist GOP greedster. Did you know that she and Chilly Hilly got on famously? She also got on famously with Richard Cheney, GWB’s war criminal Vice-President. The USA wanted to topple Yanukovich as he headed a semi-socialist state, and American Free Market pigs wanted to topple that and plunder the corpse, just as they did in socialist Yugoslavia and socialist Libya… just as they undermined the socialist DRA, which was closer to the USA in outlook than any of its Talibanesque successors… as they’re trying to topple socialist Syria… as they’re trying to topple socialist China and a Russia that’s increasingly turning back to socialism. Do note the common thread in this. The Republican filth oppose socialism and paint it out as evil. The Democratic Liberals are just as bad… they oppose socialism, too… as you can see in those such as Chilly Hilly and Butcher Biden. Only one American politician has the guts enough to call himself a socialist… Bernie Sanders.

What I find saddening is that the ultra-left doesn’t understand that a President Sanders would end warmongering in foreign parts, simply because it’s unaffordable. It wants all kinds of notional revolutionary ruffles and flourishes… which are stuff n’ nonsense, signifying nothing. This present sad end for the Ukraine, which, indeed, may result in dissolving the post-1991 Ukrainian successor-state, came from Washington, and it came equally from Republican and Liberal Democratic filth. As I say, the saddest part is that many on the American Left attack the only candidate who has the potential (and reason) to stop it. I gotta walk away from this one. I’m called a “commie” by the Republican ignoranuses and a “Republican Troll” by the Liberal Democratic ignoranuses… how can I be both at once? It simply shows how incoherent American “conservatism” (see Rod Dreher) and American “liberalism” (see Chilly Hilly) are… may God preserve us all.

Russia Has Western Enemies, Not Partners

00 Lands Added to Russia on the Territory of the Former Ukrainian SSR. 21.08.14

______________________________

The US House of Representatives joined Hillary Clinton, Obama, the neoconservatives, Washington’s vassals, and the American and European presstitutes in demonising Russia and President Putin. The House resolution against Russia is a packet of lies, but that didn’t stop the resolution from passing by a vote of 411 for it and 10 against it. The entire world should take note that the American people are capable of electing only ten intelligent representatives. Ten people out of 435 is 2 percent. Yet, Washington declares itself “exceptional” and “indispensable”, empowered to exercise hegemony over the world!

No one should be surprised to see Washington, its presstitutes and European vassal states using the same propagandistic lies against Russia and Putin as were used against Iraq and Saddam Hussein, Libya and Gaddafi, Syria and Assad, Afghanistan and the Taliban, and Iran. Washington is fearful of the rise of Russia and China, of the leadership demonstrated by V V Putin, of the formation of new organisations independent of Washington, such as the BRICS. When its “six week, 70 billion USD war”, which turned out to be, so far, a multi-trillion dollar 13-year losing operation, side-tracked the George W Bush régime, Putin kicked out some of the American agents who were contaminating Russian sovereignty and rebuilt the country.

When Putin blocked the planned American invasions of Syria and Iran, Washington decided that it had to do something about Putin and Russia. Washington spent 5 billion dollars buying Ukrainian politicians and funding fifth column NGOs. With Putin distracted with the Olympics, Washington struck, overthrew the elected Ukrainian government, and installed its puppets. The puppets set about antagonising the Russian population in the Ukraine. These provinces were formerly Russian, but Soviet leaders attached them to the Ukraine when Russia and the Ukraine were the same country. Naturally, Russians threatened with death and the banning of their language didn’t want to be victims of Washington’s puppet government in Kiev. Crimea voted to reunite with Russia from whence it came, and so did the eastern and southern provinces. Washington and its vassals and presstitutes lied, describing these acts of self-determination as Russian invasion and annexation. They falsely accused Russia of having troops occupying the breakaway (sic) provinces.

The purpose of Washington’s false accusations is to destabilise Russia and the country’s government. Washington has many avenues by which to destabilise Russia. Washington has American-funded NGOs, foreign-owned Russian media, and the House Resolution calls for Washington to expand propaganda broadcasting into Russia in the Russian language. Washington cultivated oligarchs, business interests, and Russian politicians who see their economic and political interests aligned with the West. There are deluded Russian youths who think freedom resides in the West, and others represented by such as Pussy Riot who prefer the West’s amorality or immorality to the local Russian government-supported Christian culture.

If Washington fails to destabilise Russia or assassinate Putin, frustration could result in it showing more reckless behaviour, which could lead to military conflict. The House Resolution calls on Obama to arm the Ukraine with American weapons so that the Ukraine can conquer the separatist (sic) provinces and take back the Crimea. There are constant calls from NATO itself for more military forces on Russia’s borders, and NATO conducts war games near Russia’s borders. Washington wants to include former Russian provinces like Georgia and Ukraine in NATO, something that Russia can’t accept. Washington is placing the world on the path to Armageddon, as Professor Michel Chossudovsky makes clear in Towards a World War III Scenario (Global Research, 2012).

The Russian government downplays the dangers and continues to speak of “our Western partners”, with whom the Russian government hopes to work things out. The Russian government and the Russian people… indeed, all the peoples of the earth… should understand that Russia has no partners in the West. Russia only has enemies. Washington makes it completely clear that Russia can be part of the West only as a vassal state and not as a sovereign country with its own interests and an independent policy. Washington’s demand for hegemony doesn’t permit the existence of other sovereign countries sufficiently strong to resist Washington’s will. As the ideology of hegemony has a powerful hold on Washington and is institutionalised in the neoconservative control of critical government offices and media, war is the almost certain outcome.

Washington’s puppet rulers of Europe are the enablers of the neoconservative warmongers. In all of Europe, no government is independent of Washington. Pawns like Merkel, Cameron, and Hollande sell out human life. Russian government officials, such as Putin and Lavrov, address the facts, but to Washington and its European vassals, facts aren’t important. What’s important is to destabilise Russia. One can’t address the conflict that Washington brings to Russia on a factual basis. Washington knew that Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction and no al-Qaeda connections. Washington knew that Assad didn’t use chemical weapons. Washington knew that it was setting up Gaddafi with lies. Washington knows that Iran has no nuclear weapons. What was important to Washington wasn’t the truth, but the overthrow of these governments. Whilst the Olympics preoccupied the Russian government, Washington struck in the Ukraine, installing a puppet government. It’s likely that the only solution that can make the festering problem of the Ukraine go away is the reincorporation of the Ukraine in Russia.

Usually, arrogance and hubris result in overreach, and overreach could break up Washington’s empire. However, Washington doesn’t think so. Just as Washington put its NGOs into the streets of Kiev in what it calls the Maiden protests, Washington put its NGOs in the streets of Hong Kong, hoping that the protests or riots would spread to other Chinese cities. Russia and China are far too open to the West than is good for them. Tsar Nikolai didn’t expect his government to be overthrown, but Kerensky did overthrow Nicholas’ government in the February Revolution… only to be overthrown by Lenin in the October Revolution. The Chinese don’t expect to be overthrown, but neither did V F Yanukovich. Political life is full of ambitious persons and agendas. Putin faces these ambitions in Russia. Washington knows that it can’t turn Russia into a vassal state as long as Putin is in office. Therefore, the demonisation of Putin and plots against him will continue.

One should heed Mr Robert’s books, The Failure of Laissez Faire Capitalism and Economic Dissolution of the West and How America Was Lost. You’ll know why I’m such a bitter foe of Victor Potapov, Alexander Webster, Terry Mattingly, Freddie M-G, Rod Dreher, John Whiteford, Jonas Paffhausen, and Patrick Reardon. Those named want to ally the Church with the godless forces of American neoconservatism… a force that wants to rip apart Holy Rus and tear it asunder as it’s torn asunder the Ukraine, Georgia, the Baltic States, Yugoslavia, and Iraq.

It’s one thing for godless Evangelicals to ally themselves with the neocons… their “faith” is nothing more than a religious apologia for American juvenile rebellion and social anarchy. It’s quite another for Orthodox people to do so… we have a communitarian pro-state ethos entirely at odds with the Republican Party, laissez-faire crapitalism, and Evangelical Feel-Good pabulum (“Giving your heart to Jesus”… what asinine unscriptural rot!).

We should face down those of our own who want to bring in alien and heterodox elements into our ancient faith. We can’t afford them or their toddler social, political, and religious ideologies. It’s “put up or shut up” time… but shall we do it though?
