A statue in memory of Ataman Graf Matvei Ivanovich Platov, a hero of the First Great Patriotic War Against Napoleon was dedicated today in Cossack Glory Park in Moscow. It’s well to remember that the pro-Western Galician thugs appropriate Cossack imagery whilst not having ANY right to it. The Cossacks lived in the Eastern Ukraine and opposed the Uniate scum without exception (as they were willing running dogs of the Catholic Poles)… which makes the Uniate imposters on the Maidan all the more repugnant. To see pro-Western Catholics appropriating the imagery of the anti-Catholic Cossacks is insulting and just plain WRONG. The Sich allowed no Uniate sympathisers… none at all, it had a “zero tolerance” policy towards pro-Catholic sycophants.
Ataman Platov and the Cossacks pictured in this image are the REAL Cossacks. The phony “Cossacks” on the Maidan would be whipped in an instant by the real deal. The Cossacks have always been Russian patriots… if you find someone claiming to be an “anti-Russian Cossack”, they’re phonies… especially, if they’re Catholics! No Cossack ever supported the Pope and the Poles without losing the support of real Cossacks and losing their reputation.

Here’s a new monument to Stalin in the Ukrainian industrial centre of Zaporozhye (Zaporozhye Oblast). Like all the East Bank Ukraine, the city is pro-Russian and pro-Soviet in orientation. This statue was erected using private donations, only… need I say that Zaporozhye is a stronghold of the KPU? The city is virtually monolingual in Russian, with 96 percent of the population being “Russian” (Great Russian, Ukrainian, Byelorussian). You’ll never hear of this on RFE/RL (their motto should be “All the shit that ain’t fit to print”)…
