Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzeziński: Death of an Anti-Russian Terrorist

________________________

Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzeziński is dead at the age of 89. The former US National Security Advisor put the feuds of his homeland above the interests of his adopted USA. Richard Nixon had more foreign policy achievements that just about any modern American President. However, Nixon’s scandal-plagued White House generally overshadowed these achievements. Amongst his most important achievements was engaging in détente with the USSR. Nixon’s de-escalation of tensions with Moscow ultimately led to the signing of the Helsinki Accords in 1975, wherein America and its allies and non-aligned states of Europe agreed to respect the borders and sovereignty of existing states, including that of the USSR and her allies. The Helsinki Accords affirmed renouncing violence as a means of settling disputes and forced signatories to respect the right of self-determination among peoples. This was a rare moment; the USA admitted that it couldn’t win the Cold War and that engagement and peaceful dialogue were preferable to threats against the Soviet superpower.

In 1976, Jimmy Carter became the President of the United States after Nixon’s former Vice-President Gerald Ford failed to win over an America hungry for change on the domestic front. While many remember Jimmy Carter as a man of peace, his Presidency was anything but peaceful. The reason for this was the power behind the throne, Carter’s National Security Advisor, Brzeziński. The Polish-born Brzeziński put the historic blood-feud of his mother country ahead of American interests. He openly opposed Nixon and Ford’s policy of détente and orchestrated the use of American power to arm and fund all those who sought to undermine the USSR.

This became most apparent when he decided to use the USA’s resources to fund, arm, and train the Mujahideen in Afghanistan. Among the fighters Brzeziński’s policy helped to arm was Osama bin Laden, the founder of the Salafist terrorist group al-Qaeda. The USA later blamed that group for orchestrating and executing the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the USA. Brzeziński was happy to ally with blood-soaked jihadists to topple the secular modern government of Afghanistan, for the simple reason that it was a Soviet ally. Brzeziński’s jihadists took over the country in the 1990s; they famously executed and then mutilated the corpse of Afghanistan’s pro-Soviet President Dr Mohammad Najibullah in 1996. Many blame the Brzeziński-authored policies in Afghanistan for unleashing the plague of jihadist terrorism throughout the wider world.

Brzeziński’s formal time in the White House was only for Jimmy Carter’s single term, but many of his policies lived on long after his formal period in power. Throughout the rest of his life, Brzeziński continued to vocally advocate policies designed to cripple Russia, including NATO’s expansion into Eastern Europe. He was a strong supporter of the 2014 coup against the legitimate Ukrainian government and more recently said that the Russian Federation would break up. Furthermore, he said that the USA must help those wanting to break it up, irrespective of who they are. He continued to advocate sanctions against Russia until his dying day, in spite of the fact that the sanctions ended up hurting his native Poland more than the Russian Federation he sought to destroy.

Brzeziński was a deeply violent and hateful man. He was also dishonest; he told the last Shah of Iran that the USA would give him full backing, knowing well that there was division in the White House on the issue. He was a man who brought ancient hatreds, hatreds which long pre-dated the USA’s existence, into the heart of American policy making. At the age of 89, Brzeziński is dead. Even if he lived another hundred years, he’d never see his dream, the death of Russia. Russia remains alive and well, and in this sense, perhaps, he died knowing that his entire reason for being was a failure.

27 May 2017. BREAKING NEWS Zbig is Dead… The Neocon King is Dead… Long Live Queen Hillary!

________________________

I won’t dance on Zbig’s grave. That’s unseemly and no decent person does that. Here’s something that I saw that describes him and his legacy well:

This was a very wicked man whose influence, unfortunately, will continue to wreak havoc in the world through the neoconservative and neoliberal élites who embrace his ideology. Most of the general population have no idea how much death and destruction has been, is now, and will continue based on his worldview. He was a genius of geopolitical strategy who emphasised the need for the US hegemony throughout the world. This drive for hegemony is the primary reason for the warmongering by US political and corporate élites in order to ultimately control all the world’s resources for their benefit.

He brought his sick Russophobic racism and rabid anti-Orthodox mindset into the mainstream and made it respectable. That alone is evil. However, one of our duties as Christians is to pray for the dead in the hope that they receive God’s blessedness. We’re Christians; that’s indeed what we do. If anyone needed the “onion” (per Dostoyevsky), this guy does. Pray for him and don’t celebrate. Queen Hillary will replace him as the Neocon War God. That’s worth celebrating as she’s incompetent and stupid (two things that Zbig was not). Her Upper Middle acolytes will swoon over her… let them… she’s nothing but a strutting Mussolini who makes Trump look like an amateur. Compare Madame Shillary’s showy vacuity to the cool statesmanship of Putin and Xi and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

A daunting and dark peril looms over the world. More than that… it’s been a threat for a rather long time. If that’s so, well, to think that you can negotiate with terrorists, flirt with them, or keep them as a scorpion in your pocket to use against your enemies… well, the world has gone truly and utterly mad. They’re not sorry about it at all. Only the ordinary people feel any sorrow over this… Russians, French, Syrians, all of us living at this time on our planet… none of us knows where the next deluge will occur.

Editor:

It started in Afghanistan in the late 70s… its godfather was Zbigniew Brzeziński. The USA gathered from its setbacks in China, Cuba, and Vietnam (along with the French defeats in Indochina and Algeria, the Portuguese loss of its colonial war in Africa in ’75, and the British experience in Kenya and Malaya) that its woes were due to insurgencies cleverly manipulated by Moscow (not true, but such was the Anglo conclusion). Therefore, the Americans decided to use radical terrorists and rebels as tools of foreign policy. The first usage in Afghanistan was a success, leading to the downfall of the socialist DRA. The next time, in Yugoslavia, was successful in destabilising and destroying the socialist republic there. This emboldened the Americans into using it in Libya, Syria, and in the Caucasus. The first was a (qualified) success in that it overthrew the socialist state and put Libyan oil back in the hands of Big Money interests. The second is underway, but appears to be on enroute to failure, with Russian, Hezbollah, and Syrian forces defeating the American terrorist proxies. The last was an utter failure, with Russia defeating the American proxy Chechen terrorists and with the defeat of the Georgian US proxies in ’08.

Therefore, the present Parisian terakt* was simply the Westerner’s tactics coming home to roost. The West sicced terror on the rest of the world (either using local proxies or via airstrikes and drones)… now, the proxies strike their erstwhile paymasters. I do NOT minimise the loss of life and the pain involved. However, where was Western reaction to the Israeli terror bombing of Gaza? Where was their reaction to the Uniate terror bombardments that killed our children in Novorossiya? I find their caterwauling selective and mendacious. God damn the New York Times, CNN, and the rest of the Western propaganda machine. They’re using human suffering to push a noisome agenda. ISIS is a creature of the Western ruling elements and their intel apparat. The West sicced it on Iraq and Syria… now, they find that their proxy is deadly to all… not just to the West’s supposed enemies. The proxies of the West turn their guns on the West. It’s God’s justice, isn’t it? Those who sicced terror on the world find terror sicced on them.

Pray for the victims… they’re innocents. Pray for their families… they’re innocent. God damn the Western élites… they’re the ultimate authors of this tragedy. God damn all “conservatives”… their hubris and deceit led to this. I embrace the victims and I stand up to oppose those who brought it upon them. Note well that the author of it was NOT Islam… it was Western Crapitalism of the most feral sort. May God preserve us from the godless “religious”… do think on that… it’s a meaty reflection…

American Government Backed Ukrainian Nazis 70 Years Ago… Same Group Supported the Coup that Toppled the Legitimate Ukrainian Government in February

00 The Faithful Hound. 19.06.14

______________________________

Oliver Stone’s documentary Untold History noted:

Truman approved creating a guerrilla army code-named “Nightingale” in the Ukraine. Originally set up by the Nazis in 1941, it was a group of ultra-nationalists. They would, as Stone describes, wreak havoc on the “famine-wrecked region where Soviet control was loose, carrying out the murder of thousands of Jews, Soviets and Poles, who opposed a separate Ukrainian state”. The CIA would parachute “infiltrators” into the country as well to further “dislodge Soviet control”.

Sounds nuts, right? However, American historian and former Under Secretary of the Air Force Townsend Hoopes and Rice University history professor Douglas Brinkley confirmed:

One group that particularly attracted CIA attention and support was the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), a political-military underground movement that long fought for Ukrainian independence… first against the Poles in the 1920s when Poland controlled the Ukraine and after 1939 against the Soviets. Although violently anti-Russian, the OUN was itself totalitarian and Fascist in character, as well as anti-Semitic. The Nazis poured money into the OUN after the German invasion of Russia and pretended to support the goal of Ukrainian national independence. In return, a large OUN militia, code-named Nachtigall, or Nightingale, provided local administrators, informers, and killers for the German invaders. Nazi-sponsored OUN police and militia formations participated in “thousands of instances of mass murders of Jews and of families suspected of aiding Red Army partisans”. …

When the Soviets drove the Germans out of the Ukraine, many OUN members who had served the Nazis’ police formations and execution squads fled with them, but several thousand retreated into the Carpathian Mountains to fight another day against the hated Soviet government. This remaining Nightingale group fascinated the CIA and it recruited them essentially en bloc. To bring its leaders to the United States for training and indoctrination required special bureaucratic exertions, as well as an immigration law permitting admitting 100 such immigrants per year, provided the Director of the CIA, the Attorney General, and the Commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service all personally stated that the action was vital to national security. As one army intelligence officer noted sardonically, one wing of the CIA was hunting Ukrainian Nazis to bring them to trial at Nuremberg, while another wing was recruiting them. …

After training in the USA, the CIA parachuted Nightingale leaders into the Ukraine to link up with their compatriots and to carry out measures of subversion, agitation, and sabotage, including assassination. …

[US Secretary of the Navy and Secretary of Defense James Forrestal] vigorously supported the program and presumably participated in the approval of the basic NSC charters as a member of the National Security Council.

******

The leader of the Nightingale group was S A Bandera. See this. The leader of the “protests” in February 2014, which led to the ouster of legitimate Ukrainian President V F Yanukovich, was neo-Nazi and follower of Stepan Bandera A V Paruby. In other words, 70 years ago, the USA supported the types of fascists who’re now in control of the Ukraine.

Postscript:

Another little known historical fact is that… in 1997… former US National Security Advisor and high-level Obama policy advisor Zbigniew Brzeziński called for the USA to take the Ukraine away from Russia. Almost a month before the ouster of the Ukrainian president in February, a high-level US State Department official… Assistant US Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Victoria Nuland, wife of arch-neocon Robert Kagan… announced plans to promote a “new government” in the Ukraine.
