Dear compatriots!

I earnestly greet you on this bright day! Christ’s Resurrection unites us in faith, hope, and love. We have faith in peace and self-reliance. We hope that our lives will change for the better. God grant that love and unity govern our common Ukrainian home.

Christ is Risen!

Easter is a symbol of purification and the victory of life. May God protect us and support all our good endeavours, giving well-being, peace, and harmony to all of our families.

On Easter night, President Yanukovich prayed at the liturgy in the square in front of the Holy Assumption Cathedral of the Kievo-Pechersk Lavra served by Metropolitan Vladimir Sabodan of Kiev and all the Ukraine, the First Hierarch of the canonical UOC/MP.

There have been loud noises from the Galician Uniates (and their Curial and CIA amen corners) that the Orthodox are cooperating with them. That’s a bald-faced lie. The canonical UOC/MP, which represents the only legit Orthodox body in the Ukraine, has nothing to do with Uniates. If the Uniates want to have relations with us, they have to return the churches that they stole from us, compensate the families of Orthodox clergy killed and maimed by CIA-paid Uniate mobs, and stay out of all areas except for the formerly-Hapsburg Western Ukraine. They won’t… so, ignore anything with a Uniate provenance (especially “Josephus Flavius” of Byzantine Texas) or anything emanating from such squiffy propaganda mills as Asia News or Zenit.

The Uniates are cooperating with schismatics… and such sorts are outside of the Church of Christ. It’d be like us saying that we were cooperating with Roman Catholics if we had ties to sedevecantists or Old Catholics… it would be an obvious and open lie. Most decent RCs are unaware of what the Galician Uniates do (hell, most rank-and-file Uniates don’t know what their leadership does in their names)… they’re not responsible for any of the kafuffle… anyone who blames them is barmy and has rocks in their head.
